I attended M.H. in July 1980 I was in group 5. My group was awesome It was a little scary run by nuns and being Lutheran and not a church person but I did it. Made friends there but lost contact with some but 1 friend we keep in touch through FB. M.H. was I place I needed at the time. You go to school so we wore uniforms no biggie. When I was there it wasn't a bad place I mean I missed my family but I needed help. I don't know what it's like now but it's what you put into it to make it work.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Seafield. It basically saved my life and has guided me to a much healthier and happier way of living. I have 1 year sober, and I give much credit to this facility for getting me so where I am today. From the West Hampton rehabilitation center, to the women’s sober house, to the outpatient counseling and meetings, it has been nothing short of wonderful and life changing. I am clean now for 5 years due to my higher power (JEHOVAH) but the success of my abstinence started with LICR. LICR has many ways to teach relaxation and meditation. Also, LICR food is the best. It is better than Seafield.
