I have been coming here since they opened. It's a very clean, new office. They have a lab on site and if you go in the A M they send your blood draw up to VA North Port and the lab work is ready the next day for your appointment at North Port VA.

I am a special needs adult 26 years old. I had hernia surgery on June 23rd 2026. Everyone went above and beyond and took extra care of me from doctor that did surgery, nurses and every staff at Huntington hospital. They even let my mom in the recovery room so I wake up I my Mom is there to make me feel safe. I would go to Huntington hospital for anything including physatric mental health problems because everyone is so accommodating and making a special needs adult relaxed and feeling warm welcoming to Huntington hospital. I was a Patient there for approximately 9 months. A Wonderful Atmosphere and you’re surrounded by ppl who Really Care.
Especially the Counselors, My Counselor in Particular. Her Name was Jenn. A Wonderful Person and an Absolute Dear young Lady.
She was Extremely informative and Knows just how to make you feel Comfortable and Cared For.
I was going through a Rough patch, but looked Forward to my meetings with her every week and Every time I left her office, I ALWAYS FELT BETTER AND FELT LIKE SOMEONE CARED..
I can Honestly Say, Meeting Jenn was a Highlight of my Time there.
I only left there because I found a place Much Closer to my home out East.
But my Counselor there will always be close to my heart.
And I Thank Her Dearly.
All in all, a Wonderful Place to Get Clean and Stay Clean 👍🏻😁

Used these services for a loved one in crisis. Chris was incredibly helpful at guiding us through the full process of the intervention, providing a consultative approach towards finding the right facility, and mediating some of the difficult questions during the actual process.

My experience at NUMC was truly blessed. The staff were friendly and had no issue with attempting to help us adhere to our religious needs. Moreover, it was a thriving learning environment, where Nurses to Residents and Doctors would take their time in explaining the why, versus just the how it will be done. Although, my stay was short, NUMC's ER dept exceeded expectations and successful got my Wife stabilized and in a condition for additional medical treatment, following a terrible motorcycle accident. God Bless the staff of NUMC and a special Du'a for the ER/ICU department. I pray that it was a pleasurable mutual learning experience for everyone.

I attended M.H. in July 1980 I was in group 5. My group was awesome It was a little scary run by nuns and being Lutheran and not a church person but I did it. Made friends there but lost contact with some but 1 friend we keep in touch through FB. M.H. was I place I needed at the time. You go to school so we wore uniforms no biggie. When I was there it wasn't a bad place I mean I missed my family but I needed help. I don't know what it's like now but it's what you put into it to make it work.

This place genuinely saved my life. I've been with BEST for 6 years now and I can absolutely attribute some of my long-term sobriety to them. Their MAT program is stellar (Mary Alice, my prescriber, is so responsive and available, I've never seen anything like it), and my counselor, Justin, has been so kind and supportive. All of the staff is well-educated in substance use disorder and are there to help you. Back in 2016 to 2019, I utilized both the summer day program and crisis respite placement when my mental health took a significant decline. I've also had therapy in a Sagamore office in my alternative school for counseling.
My experiences at the center itself have been mostly positive. There were plenty of activities set for myself and the other adolescents in the day program, and the staff themselves were very personable and kind. I loved doing yoga, having relaxation sessions, singing, and learning other practical and coping skills. I also really enjoyed my time at the respite home. It was quiet during my time there, and we'd occasionally watch movies and do activities outside the home.
On the other hand, the office at the school was a mixed bag to say the least. The therapist I was primarily paired with was "forced to retire" after I've had multiple sessions spanning years, along with other patients, where we all felt dismissed, ignored, and she'd just tell our parents everything she told us without our knowledge. Even things that weren't emergencies or about immediate harm. The therapist(s) I had that weren't her were all great, though. The psychiatrist at that office, while reasonable with medication management, was also just really cold and disinterested every time I met him. Not sure if he's still there.
I have my mixed feelings with Sagamore, but my experience shows there are definitely well-meaning people in this particular center. The people there have helped to kick-start a difficult yet great change for myself.
I have no knowledge on the in-patient side, but I hope the same amount of care is given to their patients.

I was here as a kid when I had a ton of problems and issues with my Family. I was assigned the best counselor I've had my entire life. That counselor is still friends with My Family and we speak. The place was very clean almost all the time. The activities and restrictions really sucked but it was what I needed at that time. To this day, I'm thankful to Sagamore for getting me through an extremely hard time in my childhood. Thank you.
