My Daughter has been going to commonpoint since she was 3 and probably wont stop till her teens unless she works there one day. That's how much we love it here. He started out as a very timid swimmer, but this year he truly excelled and reached the highest swimming level, which allows him to swim in the deep end—something that had been a huge dream of his! He also loves his counselors and always feels welcomed, respected, and treated with kindness. It’s wonderful to see how much his confidence has grown, both in and out of the pool. I thibk due to the telahealth aspect people are more willing to dig into there traumas and passed. I can only hope they 1 day accept medicaid again not only for me but all the other addicts and alcoholics who cant afford insurance to 1 day be able to receive treatment in the same manor I did. I've been to three other treatment centers and none of them compare to NJRC. The group leaders, therapists, supervisors, case managers, clients, and everyone else are amazing. Jeremy and Rachel Kornmann are especially special to me. Jeremy is a supervisor (I think) and Rachel is my therapist. They contribute to making NJRC feel like a safe and comfortable space. Therapists' doors are always open when they aren't in session so that clients can talk to them whenever they need. I know every single therapist at NJRC personally and they are all exceptional. NJRC has helped keep me sober, which is the greatest gift. I thought for the longest time that nothing would help my addiction, but NJRC pulled through.
