The best place I've ever been to for help. Have been In a few short and long term. Inpatient and out in my teen days and the staff has been by far the best around ! I also made a small hiccup on the end of my stay so stupid but they let it go with a warning seeing the progess I made as well as my fellow friend I made, her progress as well. I would 1000000000% recommend especially for women struggling with abuse. They specialize in really helping you find your inner strength .
Also.. out of all the stays. This is the only one above a 3. So that tells ya something.. and its closer to 4 than 3 so great place !!

I was recommended here by FLACRA in Clifton Springs and I couldn't be more happier with my decision, was there from the end of May to the end of July, very caring and empathetic counselors and nurses along with the food service staff which is an army of one but she rocks it, they truly want to see you succeed and live a happy joyous life, they provide you with great information about addiction and also provide you with a wide selection of literature and even host NA and AA meetings with guest speakers, most staff are in recovery themselves so they can relate to your struggles with addiction, im 22 and currently 3 months sober, the age range is well diverse, I would recommend this ATC to anyone who wants to change their life around, I will never forget the staff who helped me overcome my alcoholism 🙏

Aug 17 2023 is the day my life changed. I'm from the south. I had lived in the woods for a large part of my life. I was broken. I was angry and I was scared. The staff from nurses to counselors and even admission staff were amazing. They gave this homeless sick angry man hope. I'm 20 months sober now. They even helped me go from treatment to a transitional living facility. All I can say is go. Take that first step. They have you. I am eternally grateful.

I usually never write reviews but I have to say that my 2 year old son and I received the best care from Dr. Johnson and his nurse. Even the receptionist was amazing. The amount of attention and kindness I received from them was incredible. They reassured me that he wasn’t going to leave until things got under control and they did exactly that. They got him right back on track and we appreciate them so very much !

When I showed up the process was just as described by the lovely woman I had spoken with when I called. The receptionist is friendly, greets me by name. They sent emails in plenty of time for me to continue to schedule my upcoming appointments. My therapist is very effective. Truly a blessing that this place exists. As a current resident I can honestly say that this place is great for anyone who's serious about their recovery. The staff is amazing, you can tell that they're not just here for a paycheck, and they genuinely try to make things as comfortable as possible. I spent the holidays here and they really made it easier to be here during that time. Jessica is phenomenal and she is super invested in the place as well each individual's treatment. As far as the usual questions and concerns: you get your own room, cable TV in each room, Wi-Fi available and you are allowed your phone and/or tablet, 3 meals a day (you have to give your food stamps while here but it's WELL worth it) and the cook (Nicossi) is not only great with the food but also a good staff member to have on hand, 2 washers & dryers on site, no smoking but what do you expect from a treatment facility? (Patches are available), on site medical staff, transportation is available for medical appointments as well as to cash any checks however you can't leave for any other reason (again that's expected), there are currently two 45 minute groups a day as well as a quick morning "check in", if you're in an MAT program you're transported to Helio's OTP clinic twice a week to dose and pick up take homes until the next trip, and the staff are really good at keeping a safe environment without coming off as total authoritarians. Again, this is a great place to begin your recovery journey and it's played a huge part in not only changing; but also saving my life. Its hard for me, to get there. There's no bus shelter where you can sit while waiting for the bus to pick you up. My caseworker Rick Wellman isn't very good. I asked for different caseworker. But they never got back to me. With my bad leg I can't go to some distant part of Syracuse, because standing for long periods of time is painful. I'm not sure what to do. I also need serious dental work, specifically two root canals on my teeth. But that's in jeopardy too.

I have been going here for many years. The therapists were kind, my Doctor is wonderful. I am able to get in for telephone appointments when needed. Any issues or concerns I have had, have been resolved, I have not had negative experiences like some.

I had to find a new counselor after years of seeing one that I loved from Milestone in Hornell. I tried a couple others but ended up going to Steuben Mental health and thanks to a friends suggestion got in with a counselor there named Allison, she has been amazing and the entire staff are very pleasant. Should you need counseling services I would highly recommend them as they have a large collection of providers and can match you up very well. Truly a amazing experience to me and this coming from a man who has been in counseling for quite awhile.
