I rate this 10 out of 5. Excellent staff from the cleaning crew the kitchen (chef, the aunties) to the CA to the counselors and of course the nursing and medical staff!!! All the employees truly went above and beyond for me during my time of healing. The experience is what you make of it honestly from person to person but I got so very much and I am heading to my next step any day now. I've used many tools I learned while in there but most importantly I learned to respect and believe in my program of recovery again and I plan to keep climbing. I started as a client and now I am working for Helio. Outpatient, residential, recovery center and inpatient/detox. All amazing programs that a lot of people put their heart and soul into. Some people like to complain about anything because nothing will ever, please them. I have lived on the streets and if someone comes into this facility and states that the streets are better. Then they clearly have never been on the streets. It's all about perspective. If you're ready and willing to make your life better regardless of what you have to do and how it will make you, "feel". If we made people completely comfortable, with all this and that, then no one would leave. I have seen that with different facilities that have all this food and that but then they don't have the proper treatment or groups. But they feed you well. Pick your poison. Some kids act like spoiled brats and nothing is ever enough. Maybe you should change your perspective, it's amazing what is possible by thinking positive regardless of the situation. It's easy to come on here and judge when you don't see it through. Suffering is real. You can choose to let a little rain ruin your day or you can choose to make a rainbow. The choice is yours. We give you the necessary tools, now it's up to you to alchemize what is taught. I can choose to be better, or I can make excuses. What do you choose? The staff was compassionate yet they also were very professional. The nurses went above and beyond for me. The whole medical team at commonwealth is superior. Commonwealth gives you a multi layered experience they care for you physically, mentally and emotionally. I was not really easiest patient to care for and I still recieved excellent care. I want to recommend this rehab to anyone thinking about taking the recovery journey. Commonwealth will meet your expectations. I really was not well the staff and the nurses took good care of me and they all went above and beyond the call of duty to give me the care I needed. Once I felt better I began to attend there education groups, which were very helpful and I did learn a lot. I would recommend this rehab to anyone struggling with addiction and wants to be free from this horrible disease. Syracuse Communi	Treatments Programs Payment Options AlcoholismDrug AddictionMental Health and Substance AbuseOpioid Addiction Adult ProgramYoung Adult ProgramMilitary Program Private insuranceSelf-Pay OptionsFinancial AidSliding Scale Payment AssistanceMedicareMilitary InsuranceMedicaid	This was hands down the best dentist I’ve had in a long time they weren’t stingy with the Nova Caine even after I was nice and numbed up usually the dentist I’ve had didn’t force my jaw open they used a bite block instead the lay time I got dental work was at st joes they weren’t very nice and the male dentist I had was aweful I’m shocked he didn’t dislocated my jaw and then the work didn’t even look good not this place they have an amazing dental staff the hygienist who I had she was a lovely darker skinned woman she made sure to get everything he dr Aman amazing dentist he asked all the important questions and let me know right away if I feel anything he had me wait 15 mins to make sure the meds kicked in he handled my 18 year old root canal then before he began work he make sure I was nice and numbed up and before he started working on my tooth as it was infected even got out a little part on my real tooth that was in the bottom part of the roots after 5 days of crying and in a ton of pain he made sure I had stuff to go home with it was a long wait but totally worth it I think I found my new dentist he wasn’t rude either I’ve had dentist judge me for my teeth with a nasty attitude he was quick to the crown I did have was on really good the crown started to leave and went into my jaw dr Aman told me well I’m glad you came to see us today that’s a nasty infection and made sure I was on antibiotics before he even touched anything and they listened I told them I wanted it pulled when I’ve had dentist tell me no they wouldn’t pull it the last time I went to st joes he tooo so much off their wasn’t much of a tooth left after I asked twice he told me no then I went to this location and the gorgeous dental hygienist with the beautiful dark skin lady was shocked she said “if you asked them to pull the tooth they should of pulled your tooth it’s not their call” I wish you all could of seen the look on her face I felt safe to I think I found my new dentist thank you Dr.Amen and the lovely assistant (I didn’t catch her name but I do rember her face ☺️ he wasn’t kidding either when he said he was the best he really is also thank you to Syracuse for having resources for people even when Syracuse is my least favorite place to go but I would do it all over again to get dental work nine takes Fadelis anymore but they do I would suggest that you go early I was told come at 6:45am and by the time I got their their was a bunch of people some were waiting outside from like 4;30 in the morning they do open at 8 but they only do a certain amount of emergency dental it’s between 10 and 15 people and then they have another time it’s 1 o’clock if you haven’t use them try it out times are hard and now I feel better after no sleep for five days no food really for five days every time I would chew it began to effect my other teeth I’m on day three and it don’t even hurt it didn’t hurt much either even after the numbing stuff was gone my jaw is a little swollen but he did an amazing I love drs who listen to you 🥰 He also made sure I had some meds just incase the whole thing took about 45 minutes I was done by non I got their at 6:45 I would suggest the Same or maybe 6 just to make sure you get in being a chair 🤣🤣 💙💙🧡🧡💙🩵🧡🧡🩵🧡🧡💙🧡🧡💙💙 Sheila 2 weeks ago Polite, clean, and efficient. Dale in the ED was so kind and expedited my admission because he could tell I was in a lot of pain. He made me feel extremely cared for. All of the HCTs, CT techs, nurses, ultrasound techs, and EVS workers were so kind and patient. The nurses on 6M were wonderful and treated my pain and concerns with kindness and understanding. I felt like I was in great hands. Above all, my surgeon Dr. Hartzheim was fantastic. He has excellent bedside manner and did a great job explaining everything and keeping me in the loop regarding my surgery. He was extremely reassuring during a very stressful and painful time. Even after I was discharged and experiencing pain, he called me on the phone to make sure I was doing okay. I am so grateful to all of the staff at Crouse hospital! However, Going in for walk-in intake was a DREAM. I thought the process was going to be a huge hassle, but it was super straightforward. The staff present on the day I went in were so incredibly patient. One receptionist even went out of her way to catch a coworker to let them know someone could be taken care of THAT DAY instead of a week or so from then. There was staff present that helped those who needed it when it came to filling out paperwork, walking them through the whole process. Someone also had come out to the waiting room (who I assume was a higher up?) to address a rather cantankerous older gentleman. Not only did he get the problem resolved for this man, he also in real time changed this older gent's demeanor from angry yelling to apologetic and calm in a matter of minutes. Extremely professional and attentive. If you need somewhere to go, whether you're someone with a lot of questions, someone who needs to be guided through the process, someone who knows what they want, or someone with not a lot of options, I HIGHLY suggest Liberty Resources. This building is also accessible along the James St bus route. If that wasn't enough, the place was clean and despite a longer, narrower hallways, still was pleasing to the eye aesthetically. As a current resident I can honestly say that this place is great for anyone who's serious about their recovery. The staff is amazing, you can tell that they're not just here for a paycheck, and they genuinely try to make things as comfortable as possible. I spent the holidays here and they really made it easier to be here during that time. Jessica is phenomenal and she is super invested in the place as well each individual's treatment. As far as the usual questions and concerns: you get your own room, cable TV in each room, Wi-Fi available and you are allowed your phone and/or tablet, 3 meals a day (you have to give your food stamps while here but it's WELL worth it) and the cook (Nicossi) is not only great with the food but also a good staff member to have on hand, 2 washers & dryers on site, no smoking but what do you expect from a treatment facility? (Patches are available), on site medical staff, transportation is available for medical appointments as well as to cash any checks however you can't leave for any other reason (again that's expected), there are currently two 45 minute groups a day as well as a quick morning "check in", if you're in an MAT program you're transported to Helio's OTP clinic twice a week to dose and pick up take homes until the next trip, and the staff are really good at keeping a safe environment without coming off as total authoritarians. Again, this is a great place to begin your recovery journey and it's played a huge part in not only changing; but also saving my life. I just noticed that there weren't any reviews and wanted to give some information to those who might be interested in a program.
