All of the therapists I’ve worked with are understanding and make me feel comfortable opening up. The psychiatrists take their time and truly listen, which I really appreciate. The peer counselor is also incredibly supportive and helps me feel less alone. Overall, everyone I’ve worked with at this clinic has been amazing and currently working with are amazing. My son, Brandon, had an allergic reaction to something he ate or drank, and his face broke out in severe hives and a terrible rash. Like any parent, I was frightened. We were incredibly fortunate to have Dr. Park as our physician. I truly don’t have enough words to describe how amazing Dr. Park is. From the moment he walked into the room, he treated both my son and me with genuine kindness, compassion, and concern. He never made us feel rushed and took the time to explain everything while making sure Brandon was comfortable. As a mother, that meant more than I can express. Going to the emergency room is always scary, but Dr. Park reminded me what medicine is truly about—doctors who genuinely care about their patients and are passionate about helping people. If every hospital had physicians like Dr. Park, healthcare would be a very different experience. He restored my faith that there are still doctors who chose this profession for all the right reasons. I also want to recognize Joseph, the wonderful young man who helped us with our insurance information. He was an absolute gem—kind, professional, and welcoming during a stressful time. Our male nurse, whose name I unfortunately don’t remember, was equally outstanding. He was attentive, compassionate, and took excellent care of Brandon. I don’t know who reads these reviews, but I sincerely hope this reaches the people who recognize outstanding employees. Dr. Park, Joseph, and our nurse deserve to be acknowledged for the exceptional care they provide. They turned one of the scariest moments for our family into an experience filled with compassion, professionalism, and humanity. During the visit with my father if I hadn’t encountered her and been provided the information that she gave I would’ve still be sitting there not being attended to. Dr Kumar was very impersonal and negligent but Vanessa made the wait worth the while. She put me in touch with a social worker who was able to further assist and get me everything I needed to leave. The way you treated us with respect, compassion, and genuine care says so much about your work ethic and your character. To anyone considering coming here: if you’re serious about getting help, staying focused on your goals, and working on your sobriety, you can absolutely succeed here. One thing I learned is that treating others with respect goes a long way. This isn’t a resort, so don’t expect a different meal every day or luxury accommodations. Like any program, there are some downsides, but for me, there were far more positives than negatives. I left with valuable lessons, support, and hope. Considering the circumstances 😂 I remember one girl constantly dialing 9-11 from the phone's. I don't remember if the calls went through but she bragged in the room at night.. The food was actually really good we never went to bed hungry they had activities or you can sit in your rooms. They locked the bathrooms during the day. Because a few of the girls would flush stuff down like apples and pencils 😆 🍎 ✏️. We had a menu where we would choose what we wanted for our meals. The ward was clean and the staff was really cool. I remember I got discharged in February it was cold and fit the atmosphere of my current situation. I'm now married and have a daughter. This was a different time in my life.
