A swallow , a cough , cold drink , a yawn , just about anything. After putting up with this for about 3 months it got so bad that after my wife badgered me to go to Genesis ER I decided to go to ER to get some help. I thought this had something to do with a sore throat but found out after having CT scan and MRI that I had something called Glassopharyngeal Neuralgia (GPN). Was prescribed Tegretol XR turned out to be a miracle drug.Completely stopped the pain. I don't know who give the credit for this but I want to thank the whole ER personel dept for their great work . Despite the illness, it was one an incredibly positive experience. Dr. Michael Tornwall, the surgeon that performed my surgery, was calm, confident, and genuinely invested in my outcome from surgery through follow-up. My inpatient nurses Zakaria and Jen were superstars — attentive, warm, and caring to the point that it felt like family. But they weren’t outliers. Without exception, every person I encountered — dietitian, phlebotomist, radiology, surgical team, the rest of the nursing staff, recovery team, cleaning staff — all were kind and professional. Not one weak link. My room was spotless, quiet, and private. The cleanliness throughout was exceptional. My care was outstanding and I couldn't have asked for better treatment.
