"Rob's Ranch: A Place of Healing, Brotherhood, and Unwavering Grace"*( An important message to the Liddell family at the end of this review.)Rob s Ranch Treatment Center in Purcell, Oklahoma, is more than just a rehabilitation facility it is a sanctuary of hope, healing, and transformation. From the moment I arrived, I felt a profound sense of care and purpose radiating from every member of the staff. The environment itself is a testament to recovery, with its serene landscapes and faith-driven mission creating a foundation for true renewal. But what sets Rob s Ranch apart is not just the setting it s the people. The staff, from the counselors to the cooks in the kitchen, operate with an unwavering commitment to saving lives, treating each client with dignity, compassion, and an understanding that can only come from those who deeply believe in the power of recovery.Having been treated at some of the most renowned facilities in the country, including the Betty Ford Center, I can confidently say that the individual therapy at Rob s Ranch is unparalleled. My therapist saw me in a way I had never been seen before pushing me, guiding me, and helping me uncover the deeply buried wounds that had kept me chained to alcoholism for years. The level of personal investment, insight, and genuine care was something I had never encountered, even in the most elite treatment centers. Every session was a revelation, peeling back layers of pain and self-deception to reveal a path forward that was not only possible but tangible. This was not just therapy; it was a rebirth.None of this would have been possible without the vision and dedication of the Liddell family, who founded Rob s Ranch with a mission to save lives and restore hope. Their unwavering belief in redemption and their commitment to creating a place where men can truly heal has changed countless lives including mine. To the Liddell family, and to every single staff member at Rob s Ranch, I offer my deepest gratitude. You gave me not just sobriety, but a renewed faith in myself, in others, and in the beautiful life that lies ahead. Thank you for everything!*To the Liddell Family,I want to begin this message by expressing my deepest gratitude for Rob s Ranch and the life-changing experience I had during my time there. The love, care, and dedication poured into this place by your family and staff are evident in every corner of the facility. That is why I feel compelled to bring something to your attention, not out of criticism, but out of love for the legacy you have built and the men who come through your doors seeking hope.It is no secret that your founder, Mr. Liddell, believed in the importance of feeding the men well. Many clients arrive at Rob s Ranch malnourished, broken not just in spirit but in body, and good food is a vital part of their recovery. Unfortunately, the current kitchen management is failing to uphold this principle. Essential items frequently run out, and the menu lacks both variety and proper nutrition. Instead of meals that nourish, we are often left with poor-quality food that does not align with the level of care that defines every other aspect of Rob s Ranch. The issue is not simply about the food itself it is about what it represents. To be fed well is to be cared for, and for many men, this is the first place where they have truly been taken care of in years.Perhaps the clearest example of this misalignment happened about halfway through my stay. A new client had just arrived, and I was helping him through the cafeteria line when he attempted to introduce himself to the kitchen manager. The response he received was disheartening: I ll never be here, so you don t need to know my name. In a place where every other staff member embodies love, patience, and a deep commitment to the men they serve, this moment stood in stark contrast. It was not just dismissive; it was a failure to uphold the very essence of what makes Rob s Ranch extraordinary. Thank you for taking time to consider this message. Deepest gratitude.

I was really struggling with mental health issues and other problems and they really made me feel safe and validated. We got to see and visit our parents on the weekends and they had a vending machine so they could bring us snacks. Our parents could bring us bedding and shower products. We got to wear our own clothes and shoes. We had groups and lessons we did everyday and we're able to go outside most of time and play basketball. The food wasn't too bad and was mostly like school food and on holidays we got really good food and the staff would bring in the food they made which was really good. They really helped me when I was struggling and the staff and people I met along the way were so nice to me. They really outdid themselves and understood that we're just kids struggling and trying to better ourselves. I was able to go on pass and visit my family for a day outside of the place which was nice because I hadn't seen them in a long time. The groups and lessons they taught us really helped me be able to ground myself and cope a lot better than before. Ms. Mary really helped me with my issues and was able to get me out of there in a month. This place is one of the better mental hospitals and if your going to send your kid to one you should look at your options and this one would probably be the best choice to choose from.

I stayed here April 2nd, 2024 - April 9th, 2024, and I felt very safe here. ALL of the staff in my dorm (can't remember which one) were so kind and helpful and I miss them all. I can't remember most of their names, that period of time is very fuzzy for me, but Miss Arcadia was one of the staff I loved. The food wasn't bad, it was similar to school food. The beds are pretty uncomfy, but your guardian can bring in blankets and pillows from home for you. We got to go outside every other day or so, and we could sit in the clovers, or play with basketballs. The shower wasn't a very pleasant one, but it wasn't disgusting or uncomfortable. Only thing I didn't like was my therapist. He didn't do anything wrong necessarily, I just got weird vibes. I really miss the staff here. I hope I won't have to go back, but if I had to, I would feel safe.

Heads up, the main parking gate off NE 16th St, is under construction, you have to use McMechan Pkwy, the street right to the west of the gate and it will take you around the construction to the parking lots. Also be careful using the "clinic elevators" the construction guys on the 6th floor use the fire keys to override the elevators and normally there is a single elevator working, instead of the 4 there are supposed to be and they are slow. Normally it is faster to use the main elevators and walk. That and if you have an appointment on the 3rd floor, you can't use the clinic elevators anyways. Those people who complain about the OKC VA system ..... you need to go to Georgia, Alabama or California if you want to complain about VA service. Given the resources the staff have here, they do a wonderful job.

Oklahoma is ranked 5th nationwide in terms of addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $54,475.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Oklahoma vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of the treatment types listed above. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below.
There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Oklahoma. Most treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in Oklahoma that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options. Here’s the complete breakdown of how to pay for addiction treatment in Oklahoma.
Blue Cross Blue Shield is the most widely-accepted insurance for drug rehabs in Oklahoma, with 37 treatment centers in the state accepting their insurance. UnitedHealth Group is the 2nd most popular with 37 treatment centers accepting it followed by Humana in 3rd accepted by 36 drug rehabs.
Oklahoma is ranked 27th nationwide in drug rehab admissions, with 394 rehab admissions per 100,000 population in 2023, which is lower than than the U.S. national average of 621 admissions per 100,000.
