I’ve been at AWA for 7 months and a miracle it was, and at first you might hate it—you might not want to come. In my experience, I was hesitant, skeptical, and filled with anxiety because of my past experiences with mental health facilities. But AWA is different. It’s such a great clinic, and I’ve learned to love it here. The staff truly care about you and your family, and you’ll come to feel connected with the other clients. Some days you won’t want to go because it’s 20 hours a week and you might be tired, but if you engage and take your treatment seriously, you’ll find that coming every day is worth it. Yes, there is little to no drama, and even when it happens, no one holds a grudge for long because we’re always there for each other. Plus, they won’t leave you in the dark after treatment—they make sure you have a plan afterward. They also let clients be very involved in their treatment plans, and many of the rules can change if the majority of the group agrees. I also love how inclusive AWA is—from race, to gender, to sexuality. The staff will help and counsel you even if you’re crying in group. I know that sounds obvious, but the facility I used to be in didn’t do that. I remember crying in group and one of the facilitators pulled me out to counsel me, and when I was overstimulated, they gave me earplugs to help. At the end of my treatment, I would say AWA definitely helped heal me, and I would recommend it to anyone going through mental health problems it has been truly a blessing.

I feel that this facility gives great customer service and good quality physical therapy. The employees always greet you by name when you walk in the door (kinda like in “Cheers” if you’re old enough to remember that show). The staff is nice and makes it a pleasure to come. They are not overbooking their employees and give each patient personalized attention.

I want to give a very special thanks to the Goodman Jewish Family group for their heartfelt caring and kindness in helping my family in a time of crisis. 0ur water had been turned off for 4 days and they immediately assisted us. We are seniors and I had been laid off and have been struggling to get things back on track. Nadine was tremendous in helping us process all the documents and streamline the process. If they did not jump in today to help us than our water department which does not work on Fridays would have left us for 7 days without water. This is an amazing place to be after suffering from an anxiety disorder it helped me taper off the addictive medication I had been taking too often. The staff are so friendly and treat you as if you were being cared for by your own family. The food and snacks are great and so are the activities. I decided to come to Crystal Lake for follow up treatment solely based on my experience at Singer Island and I couldn’t feel more blessed to have done so! The staff here from techs, to the nurse , to facilitators, to clinical directors, to therapists , to the LIV coordinators are so much more than I could have ever hoped for! You come here for follow up treatment but it’s sooo much more than that! You put in hard work but you also put into practice what healthy thinking feels like and what actual living looks like in sobriety and how absolutely amazing it can be! I couldn’t be more grateful for this company and everyone associated with it!!

I arrived at Crystal Lake from Singer Island. This too I cannot say enough about. It absolutely saved my life. The clinical team gave me the tools I needed to be able to live and thrive in my life while life showed up. The tier levels of treatment allow a little freedom to get out and experience life while having accountability while navigating through day to day life and making good choices. I was able to start EMDR therapy there which has given me freedom to move past trauma and remember without reliving. I went through all levels including PHP, IOP 1 to 5 and then OP. I went home to visit my family and came back clean having had support and a firm plan while there. Going to meeting off property allowed me to experience what outside meeting were and started developing a routine that I still use today over 2 years later. I am grateful. Nothing is perfect. Life is hard. Pick your hard. The LIV program that continues on her is without parallel. Constant weekly excursions and beach access sets the healing process apart from other places. Shout out to Erica! Holla girl. Ruth, Mary Kate and Taylor. Eddie, the lead case manager there has grown to be an amazing mentor, college and friend of mine that will continue on through life. An on site Nurse, Hey Kristina... is amazing and access to doctors only provide more contributions to success making sure the physical, mental and emtion healing is all being attended to. The Alumni program including Singer health is too tier. with weekly and monthly meetings and activities providing support and connection no matter where your home is. 🫂🔷💙

I can honestly say Transitions is the best recovery center I’ve ever been to. They are definitely not like other rehabs and I’ve been to many different places. What sets them different: there’s no judgement, you actually see your therapist, a psychiatrist, case management, and medical doctor 1-2 times a week, the groups are very beneficial and THEY TRULY CARE!! That’s by far the biggest thing. Staff all go out there way to care for us whether big or small. Housing is beautiful spacious apartments and weekends we do deep cleaning. Everyday there’s an outside meeting and H&I on property everyday but Sunday. Sundays we do outings as a community like the beach, top golf, or bowling. It’s a great way for us to all have fun at the end of the week. Shout out to the staff: Lori-Ann, Austin, Will, Maxime, Michael, Winnie, Summer, Tay Tay, Manny, Art, Dr. K, Jeff, Dr. Seely, Jennifer, and Shelly. Yall make this program worth being apart of. I fully accredit 1st Step to saving my husbands life. He had been in and out of rehabs for ten years before being introduced to 1st Step. The entire staff there, from admissions to alumni, are dedicated to helping others succeed. He is now celebrating 5 years of sobriety and I could not be prouder of him. ahhh first step. the best treatment center i have been to in my 25 years. not because it’s a cushy hotel like experience. but because the people who work here and run the place do truly care about their clients. they want to help you and see you went to help yourself. i feel closer to some of the staff here than i do immediate family members and do credit them for saving my life and helping me to see i’m more than my addiction and negative behaviors. they do care when you can’t. if you let them, they help pave the way for a life you couldn’t even imagine. i owe them my life and am grateful they have stuck with me and helped me throughout some of my most difficult seasons. if you let them love you they will!! and i’m so thankful that i did!

I came through once, had an amazing g experience, and after a while of doing well, I unfortunately fell off. When I was finally ready for help again, I had moved back to Ohio, and the only way I’d go back to treatment is if I came back to Recovery Unplugged in South Florida. Clinical staff is phenomenal, my therapist Brendan was amazing, and I HAVE to give a shoutout to alumni team, who still keep me a part of a community long after finishing treatment. My alumni coordinator, Tonya, is absolutely amazing. She makes sure that I still stay a part of an amazing community long after I finished treatment. The BEST treatment center experience! I have been to seven rehabs and this is the first that made it feel possible to stay sober. The community is vibrant, creative and makes recovery look fun. The staff truly cares and it feels that everyone working at RU is there for the right reason, not just a paycheck. The music element is life changing and woven into all aspects of the program. The alumni networks keeps the momentum going post-treatment. I highly recommend RU to anyone serious about getting sober, having a blast along the way.

Simple Path is more than a rehab facility, they treat you like family. Each and every person will help you on your recovery journey not because it's their job but because they truly care. They saved me from myself more than once. You are not just a number at Simple Path. The groups are small enough to give each and every person individualized care. Many clients actually find it hard to leave, myself included due to the level of commitment from the staff. I can't say enough about this rehab, it's more than just being on the beach, although that's really nice too. It truly is the best!

I spent 60 days as PHP and 30 days as IOP at this rehab facility. There’s always 2 group rooms to choose from with activation of group facilitators and therapists that run the groups. While here I spent most of my time Scott’s group in the morning. He does a great job of making sure that you are correctly able to identify what got you here in the first place like the fact that being in rehab is not a choice. It is a result of your addiction. Your recovery is the choice you get to make if you put in the work. If you feel that you’ll get more benefit from learning the psychology of things then Dr. B’s group is perfect for you in the other room. And if you want a variety of techniques Jamie is amazing at balance including things such as music therapy, Ted Talks, and recovery speakers in addition to the regular conversations. Is Luminous perfect and issue free? NO. However, it is here to test you and make sure that while you’re under their protective bubble of life you learn to deal with life, cravings, and coping mechanisms the right way. There are many employees who are here for all the right reasons. Some have been through rehab and dealt with addiction themselves and are able to give you insight into what the correct steps to make are without all the fluff like the lead tech Novak who assists in the majority of day to day operations. My case manager Elise goes above and beyond her scope of her job title. While clients speak amongst themselves about issues they may be having, she is brought up as the one who often helps clients that aren’t under her management and picks up slack for other ppl who try to redirect you to someone else for assistance. It’s no wonder that when the new case manager came in they had her shadow her rather than the more senior case manager. Overall I thank Luminous and the entire staff and clients who all contributed to my Successful rehab completion. They have assisted me in my discovery phase and have put me on the path to recovery. I can now claim to be 90 days clean and sober for the first time in over 20 years. Thanks again.

So I think that yaz is the one who makes it happen at this facility and she is very helpful and very friendly I posted a post earlier that I may have been a little off and I apologize for that one so everyone is got a lot on their plate here and us addicts always want what we want and we want it now so there job is very stressful and it ain't no walk in the park to deal with us so I just wanted to say thank you luminous care for your help and support through my recovery here it has been a pleasure to meet each and every one of you counselor and techs.

This has. Been one of. Best experiences that I've had in wehab, the staff was very helpful. I thought it was a great idea to have the hands-on. Experience going back out and to the real world and maintaining a job, it has helped me in so many ways. I would recommend this program to anybody that needs recovery. Because at luminous, you are able to get the experience out in the real world. Facing everyday life's challenges and experiences. So yes, for me, Rick Walker, this has been a very good experience to me. And i'm grateful to all the staff at luminous, and the people that I was in group with and like I said, I would recommend this to anybody, and I think that's about it.I have for now

To be honest, I was incredibly reluctant to go there and check myself in. But in retrospect, it was one of the best decision ls I’ve ever made in my life. The staff, to include the nurses, the techs, the counselors, doctors and teachers of the classes, all worked in tandem to allow me the grace and support to get better. Being faithful and using their programs as they were designed with group therapy, counseling, and neuro -therapy really helped change my world. I would recommend these guys to anybody who’s struggling!

Great Environment always looking out for you no matter what and focus on mind body soul and a major transformation to keep you engaged the place is clean and a great spot to attend meetings, social outings, and get your head on straight. Clear mind and sober living spot with care. Yes medication nurse station available and yes help with food water shelter and living for a better opportunity. #NeverGiveUpHope #MasterMindCare

Oh where to start ! I’ll be brutally honest . This isn’t a 5 star resort. And my first week I wanted leave more than anything ! But I stuck it out . Your not caulded or babied here everything is not handed too you . You have to work for it and try . It sucks but this place and masterminds method prepares you for re entry to society. Life’s not comfortable, convent or easy . Neither is mastermind . But it’s brilliant it teaches you how to deal with frustration,and the chaos of life and the structure and discipline required to live it sober . The staff really care . The OWNERS are on site working everyday not out living it up like most business owners do . And they would give you the shirt off there back if you needed it . This program is unique and unlike any other . It’s not always comfortable and convenient but neither is life and recovery . I left with the tools and coping skills and resources to stay working annd stay sober you have to want it . Mastermind showed me and motivated me to go take my recovery and I can’t thank this place enough . If you really want to recover it takes work and this program requires work just like life and recovery 110% recommend if your serious about recovery ❤️‍🩹

This is a great place to.recover from the insanity and addiction. I really have nothing to complain about. i can keep up with my business, house, and wife since they allow me to keep my phone after a short hiatus. The techs, counselors, therapist etc are all very friendly and bend over backwards to help when you are running right. There are other accommodations that help in this modern day. Ultimately, during my three weeks, i didnt feel like i was left behind professionally and digging out another hole. Amazon helped but moat importantly the staff was amazing and the community was about recovery
