I was on the 5th floor D&A program for Violating my probation. I did 13 1/2 months. They cut my long hair as soon as I got to quarantine. Gotta due 30 days there first b4 you can make up to summit main building. Witch was lik 30 minz away. But in all it has its ups and downs lik every juvenile placement. I loved it. I sill have my golf pictures when I was on the course. Much respect to all the staff that really try to change kids life for the better. They didn't let me leave with out my GED. As soon as I got it. I was out in 30days. I did My part, an so did they. I wish I can go an visit. The staff was very helpful and their academic department is very good. Summit gave me the opportunity to show people that Im a better person than what I had portrayed myself to be. It was always clean, the staff was kind and compassionate. My Uncle was comfortable and well cared for to his last day. He said the food was good and he really felt cared for. Maddy is a great person. She knows everyone by name and has no problem having a nice conversation with you. She can also be helpful with advice or just trying to make sure you are in a better mood then when you arrived. Dr. Ritz is very helpful in making sure you stay on track with the program. He gives encouragement when you feel like giving in to your craving. He reminds you as to why you are there. Does what he can to make sure you don't relapse. She was always so helpful and went out of her way for what ever I needed. The facility here is small, older and out dated . Now Beaver County is getting s totally new clinic at the Mall . So no complaints here about the care I was given at the Rochester clinic . Also VSO Kathy whose office is currently in the courthouse , did an amazing job getting me a higher disability rating and applying for my property tax exemption. Now here in Florida, I met with the VSO about reapplying here for property tax exemption and was told not their job, I would have to do that myself. I started at the New Castle Location when it was The Discovery House and then transferred to the Cranberry location when I moved, and then ended here at the Farrell location when I moved again back to Ohio. They accepted Ohio medicaid and I really didn't want to change clinics, so I stayed with Discovery House/Comprehensive Treatment Center. Each location was fantastic. By far my favorite clinics.
