Adcare has been amazing. I've never experienced everybody being so nice and not judgmental, very helpful and understanding. Everybody has a smile on their face.And whatever you need are willing to help with, whatever I live out of state and they're helping me find meetings out of state. I was expecting the worse experience taking my Father to the VA while visiting RI. Long story short, my father has not been getting the required care and the care offered as a marine who served in Vietnam. There was so much I was trying to learn and take care of for him in one day that it was quite overwhelming. However, most of the employees were so helpful and provided polite and friendly support. The one person who I cannot thank enough is Michelle. She worked the desk where you get your VA ID/eligibility. Michelle, if you read this, thank you so much for all your help, information, patience, and compassion. I could not have done this without you. You are truly a rock star!

Professional, kind, caring, best of the best, especially my PCP, Dr Emily Leveen, Steve in Pulmonary scheduling, and Sean Lonergan over at HPACT in trlr 37, housing. 5 star all the way. Also, my HUD/VASH case worker, Carmen, the best I have ever had, on a scale of 1 to 10 I give her a 15!!!!! She's the best!! Also Coleen, my HUD/VASH nurse, and Allie from Occ Hlth, fantastic. Through the PHP program and therapy, I was able to overcome issues I wouldn't have able to do alone. The staff are pleasant and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place. Cristina is a superlative therapist who is as intuitive as she is attentive. She offers valuable perspectives to those who may be lacking in some regards due to their own specific, personal struggles. For patients in their 20s, she offers relatability in spades, which was comforting for a patient who presented as worn down, isolationist husk of a human being. I was fortunate to finish the PHP program and to be quickly referred to her as my first therapist.

As someone in recovery, I highly recommend Ocean State Recovery Center. The staff and clients genuinely care, listen without judgment, and treat you like a person…not a diagnosis. Recovery isn’t always easy, but having the right people in your corner makes a huge difference. I’ve made incredible connections over the weeks and know I have friends (something I didn’t have in active addiction). Ocean State gave me support, accountability, and encouragement, all things which have kept me wanting to stay clean. Went here a few years back. During Covid, wild crowd, the intensity of the whole world to me was making me sick. This was one of the greatest things to ever happen to me. It is almost 5 years later and North Cottage stays with my soul everywhere I go. I love you guys so damn much _yes as others said, intense as in drug testing and checking mens etc. I earned trust and was able to go on runs into the woods almost every morning. This was the place I found God, I had just lost my brother and almost lost myself. I love you guys Thank you. The snow coming down in this trail i would run to each morning is a vision I can't get out of my head. Can't forget it was the men and women who ran this place, mostly men, who made this happen. I dont usually write reviews. I thought about yall today and just wanted to tell you how much I love you.

I've been here for one week, respiratory issues. This is "the" best hospital I've ever been to. The care, is off the charts. (The nurses and doctors, actually care) Everyone is super friendly. From the dietitian to Rita, the cleaning lady. My only complaint.....is the CNA taking selfiies of herself on the 3rd floor. The staff there are always patient and accomodating. The medical staff are very thorough and make sure they answer all of your questions. Getting an appointment is pretty easy as well. My husband's search for a new Primary Care doctor ended here, with a wait time of only 6 weeks, as opposed to a wait of a year (at least) anywhere else.

Butler is great but they need help on hiring better staff . I had a horrible experience with a nurse practitioner that lied on my progress didn’t want to change meds that were hurting and making me sick lied to staff and said I was not doing what I was suppose to do moving forward I want Gabrielle back she’s my day 1 nurse practitioner I will be requesting her when I go back in the near future you need to be careful you get as your team I recommend Gabrielle as nurse practitioner she listens she’s smart and she honest and as for therapist I recommend Sarah summers she was great she listens she gets to the point and grounds those are the people I love working with Gabrielle I know for over 7 years and Sarah is more recent . They were awesome as for others recently I had a newer nurse practitioner and she made up lies about my progress and said I wasn’t doing what I needed to which was a lie I did everything I had to do I feel she was upset that I was doing good and that’s shady she didn’t have my best interest like Gabrielle I’m requesting her moving forward I will never agree to work with that last person terrible vaules and not a match for maybe for someone else she great again Gabrielle and I been working for over 7 years there we had a disagreement I overreacted and they changed her I admit I was wrong . Butler does great partial just focus on getting rid of toxic staff members . Thanks for always supporting unfortunately some people you hire are not the best please do better butler we’re. It had been 8 years since my last stay at Butler and I was afraid that it wouldn’t be up to the same standards as it used to be. But it definitely was, with just a few exceptions. The PAS experience was much improved- kinder and more attentive staff and a much shorter wait to be transferred to the unit. For the most part the care was good to excellent. Of course there’s always a few that need a major attitude adjustment but then that’s the same way anyplace. The two things that were a bit negative were, the food. It used to be good but it is really awful now. Budget cuts I assume. The biggest and most bothersome issue is the horrible changes in the belongings policy. I understand the problem of people bringing in contraband but the policy is just ridiculous and absurd. I brought 4 sets of clothes and 1 nightgown and underwear. It took 24 hours before I got anything. And then I got back 6 things- none of which matched and all rolled up into a ball and wrinkled. I had had them neatly folded. It told me that they didn’t care or respect my belongings. I did not get my nightgown nor my underwear! I couldn’t have a book that I had brought or any of my toiletries. I was extremely upset about this and I honestly don’t believe that it needs to be quite that restrictive. The doctor was ok and the social worker was wonderful! When I was discharged and got my belongings back I was really angry that they had stuck a sticker with my name on the back of my phone. I was unable to get it off completely and have had to buy a new case. Very disrespectful. So all in all, things were pretty much as they were before. I was reasonably comfortable and well taken care of. So yes- Butler is in my opinion still the best place to be when you need psychiatric help. Don’t hesitate to go there. Thank you.

I can’t speak to the inpatient services here, but I recently discharged from the Women’s DBT Partial Hospital Program, and my experience was honestly so much better than I expected. The facilitators / staff are very invested in the work they are doing, which made the entire experience actually work for me. Vs. feeling like it was just going through the motions. DBT is a complicated therapy model but a very good one. And the staff here know their stuff. Which is important when you're facilitating a DBT program. I will recommend this program over and over again. It was truly a lifeline. From intake to discharge, every single staff member/therapist/doctor etc I interacted with was skilled, engaged, receptive, and invested. They took me seriously, and didn't take what I was there for lightly. I appreciate that a lot. I can genuinely say this program helped me in a huge way. And that's what I needed going in. So, thank you. TLDR: A very well organized DBT outpatient program with a skilled team and a system that worked for me.
