The staff are very polite and understanding around my addiction to alcohol. In particular my case manager Scott quickly identified my direction for treatment in conjunction with his team. The therapy, group and individual really got to the bottom of what made me abuse substances. I learned so much about myself. I was given tools that will help me navigate in the real world. Not just platitudes but real strategies. The facility is fabulous. I’ve taken yoga classes. I’ve had acupuncture. I returned to working out in the great gym they have. There’s every kind of art supplies you could ask for. Together with healthy meals and unlimited snacks it’s the total package. I haven’t mentioned the community. You meet people who are going through the same things you are . I made friends. If life isn’t what you want it to be because of substance abuse and you want to do a restart please walk in their door. The staff is amazing, kind & caring. The staff & my family are on a first name basis & love my mom. Family owned facility. They have in-house wheelchair transportation to Dr appts. She is truly an amazing PCP who always takes the time to answer any questions and listen carefully to concerns. Every time I have an issue with my health, she makes sure I get the help I need. She consistently refers me to the right specialists who can properly address my problems, and she prescribes the best medications for whatever condition I’m dealing with. Amanda always points me in the right direction and works hard to make sure all of my health concerns are taken care of. She goes above and beyond in her job, and every appointment with her is a great experience. I feel confident and well cared for under her treatment. People can say they didn't get help or didn't get sober but its not because of sstar its because you didn't do the work to stay sober. this place has kept me alive through the years when I needed to get off the streets or was sick begging for help. I always got accepted no matter if I wanted to get sober and stay sober or not! the one time I put all the work listened to all the suggestions let someone else run the show ive been sober since. Going on 7 years. you can complain about the staff and whatever other excuses u want but it comes down to either you want to get better and will do anything you can to do that or your probably going to use or drink again. parents this place didn't fail your child your child didn't do the work but don't give up it took me 15 years in and out 154 detoxes endless sober houses two times dying to finally be willing to do whatever it took to stay sober.
