I m so glad to have been assigned to this outstanding physician. Although his personal inclination is to not make much eye to eye contact, he is very attentive to what is being said by redirecting his focus away from the speaker. In so far as putting in a Bluetooth device while the patient is still speaking, this is in order to proceed directly into making the necessary consults in order to address the issues being described to him in real time. I've been in treatment here since April 2013, when it was Spartanburg Treatment Associates and privately owned. Everyone is going to have differing opinions on their experience but my own has been mostly good. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I've never had any issues with the doctor, counselors, pharmacists, nurses or staff. I only attend once a month but my visits are usually fast. I would recommend BHG to anyone who is struggling with something and interested in making an honest attempt at taking back their life. It's definitely not always easy but, as with most important things, having the right mindset and a positive attitude makes all the difference. If you truly want change, it can happen.

At BHG, Spartanburg Treatment Center, I feel an actual mutually caring relationship with my counselor John M. I would give 5 stars to Scott. I would give negative zero to the front desk lady (dark hair lots of makeup) she was incredibly unprofessional and has no idea what is going on arrived 16 min late line out side and zero I am sorries. No care in the world. I did show her my appointment proof she was shocked I had one as she said they are walk in only? She said she can t draw blood. Then I would need to wait. I did. Scott was excellent, professional and apologizing and quick. For this reason I would go back. I would definitely listen to the reviews on frost desk staff. It s true.I did notice other reviewers w similar stories about walk in only response from owner- so I added proof that maybe this should be something that is no longer available to do. I ordered a lab test from a 3p and this was their instructions I had no problems scheduling an appointment online

Alternative Therapeutic Approaches in Charlotte The facility offers alternative therapeutic approache | Treatments Payment Options | I can't thank Peggy Lombardo (Alumni Coordinator) enough for saving a family member's life. She befriended "Will" long before he was willing to seek help. He was never alone in life because she checked on him regularly and gently coaxed him into getting the help that he desperately needed.
Approximately 7 months after reaching out, Will made the decision to better his life by accepting Peggy's offer of help. Once his decision was made, Peggy instantly started moving mountains to get him the help he needed. She was in daily contact with his family offering her advice, supplying helpful contact information, and even talking him through his fears when they became too great and he wanted to run.
As a result of Peggy's unrelenting quest to help Will, he has received a Certificate of Completion from the Midwood Addiction Program where he received counseling, housing, a sense of community, independence, and gradually took control of his life again.
A little over a month after graduating, Will has found employment and is ready to start this new healthy chapter in his life. When asked if he ever talks to Peggy anymore, the answer is "yes! she's full of valuable resources.".
How do you thank someone who has saved the life of someone you thought was lost forever? There is no repayment plan that could ever be enough for this angel on earth. Peggy will always be our angel. She truly has an amazing gift and we are forever in her debt.

Lemme tell you about the housing situation 1st.
I read the good reviews and the horrible and the bad kinda concerned me.
I can tell you the bad was not only exaggerated but most just someone salty and spreading total BS.
There are no rodents and I've never been to a house that had zero bugs not even a fly before I got here, not even my father's house. Ok so these 2 floor some with a upper smoking/ lounge deck are nice nice! 4 bedroom 3 full double sink bathrooms , two with walk-in shower , I bath / shower and a half bath by living room. It's fully stocked with any pans coffee pot anything you need.
The staff are some of the nicest ppl and you absolutely get to know them.
You are treated pretty much how you treat them. Just be kind!
Midwood center was the one I went to and the staff there are always awesome. If you need something just speak up, I've seen ppl come through and expect everyone to be mind readers.
I would list everyone I love at Harmony but I'm horrible with names but there are standouts.
Christine, Crystn (sik). Byron,Lisa, Miss Gail
( Amber always pushing DBT therapy 😬) Bobby, the tech who's name escapes me that calls everyone "Big Dog)
And Lastly but firstly Miss Peggy who is the sweetest person I've ever met and she saved my life just by getting to know me calling my phone to talk to someone else. She had my back and actually drove to Salvation Army and helped me get insurance, talked me into Salvation Army in first place and bought my broke ass two packs of smokes
She is absolutely a gift from God and deserves to be the highest paid at Harmony!
But I'm betting she would do it for free
No fear y'all this place is absolutely what you make it.
