Pretty good place. Staff take’s care of you. Case manager was great to work with. Food could be a lot better. The kitchen staff has a bit of an attitude problem.they do take out on Saturday night but didn’t ask if anyone has any allergies to certain foods and someone only got 2 wings for the night and the staff gave that person a you’re SOL look they rolled their eyes like they didn’t care. However besides that the groups are fantastic and sometimes we got to go off site for AA/NA meetings. Rooms were in great condition. Low key they should put in a soda fountain. 10/10 highly recommend going here.

It's been over four months now, and I'm living proof that these modalities saved my life. Justin Hoffman walked me step-by-step through my pre-care for ibogaine, picking me up from ibogaine treatment, and then a two-week stay in a traditional detox for benzodiazepines. Justin called the doctors each day, and came to visit me to ensure I was safe. The treatment at Holistic House really is revolutionizing the world of addiction, mental illness and more importantly for me, years and lifetimes of trauma. Justin is truly an angel who helped me save my life by showing me how. During my stay with Justin he worked one-on-one to make sure I would make it, not just by scraping by, but REALLY make it. Now, I have moved across the country, am working with an amazing doctor and am on my way to accomplishing my dream of attending medical school. I've discovered many gifts I didn't know I had, and this experience has been life changing to say the least, and by far the best decision I ever made.

We are very thankful that we found Forte Strong for our son. Forte taught our son the skills to grow and develop so that he could become independent. Prior to FS, our son was not gaining these skills on his own at home or at college. The structure, discipline and accountability, combined with coaching and therapy, created an environment where he could grow and gain confidence. While we as parents had to step back and allow our son to rely on himself and the program support, by the time he graduated our relationship was much healthier. A weekly webinar for the parents is a key component of the program. Brook (program director) does an incredible job providing insightful and valuable parent education. He connects with the parents and helps them understand the underlying principles and processes of the program. We are grateful for the dedicated staff at Forte Strong and what they are doing for the students they serve.

I can't say good enough things about Lea Frances Poll. I've been seing her for over a year now and I can see so much growth within myself in that time. Finding a good therapist is all about personal connection, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't which is why it's important to seek out someone who fits your personal situation; for me I have found a perfect fit in Lea and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her, in fact I do all the time! 5 Stars for Lea, 4 stars for the company itself due a few billing issues and miscommunications with the office staff.

My son was just discharged after spending three months at Embark. We tried other treatment facilities with very little results. Our son appears to be a changed kid for the better although that is yet to be seen, the true test will be when he gets home and some time passes. All the staff at Embark have been absolutely amazing! They are quick to respond to any questions or concerns that we have had and truly seem to care. I can’t say enough good things about this place. If you have any questions and are thinking about this place for your son feel free to contact them and ask for my number I would be happy to share our experience. We have had a long road and can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel! Thank you Embark staff in Hurricane Utah! Cindy Swan

As a parent I would highly recommend this program. Outstanding, caring staff who truly change lives for the better. The small program size means the girls all really work together as a team to help each other. The love and support they have for each other and for their staff is truly awe inspiring. I suspect the few negative reviews are mostly from girls who either quit the program prematurely, were not interested in getting help (and thus would have criticized any similar program), or thought this was a horse camp rather than a therapeutic program that uses horses to help the girls learn about themselves.

I came to Kolob when I was 7 months away from being 18 years old, I was failing high school, unmotivated, and at odds with my family and myself. Kolob Canyon RTC allowed me to recognize my worth, what I can do, and have the tools to keep on keepin' on. I have since then graduated, sold cars (top salesmen every month on the job), gotten A's my first semester of college, and lived well with the people that mean most to me, my lovely family. It is never easy to admit that you need more help with your child and their needs than what you can offer, just ask my mom. But I do know that this program and the staff will change your child's life and your family dynamic. As a student a lot is asked of you unlike a lot of treatment places, but that makes it known that you are capable of a lot. And now I am onto things like managing a store and being a full time student at age 19. 2 years ago I didn't even want to live. I am so grateful for Maren (my therapist at Kolob) and Amanda who could crack a joke harder than anyone. Everyone here is wonderful. Just so blessed.

My experience with this particular facility has been nothing but a positive situation for me. The staff, all the way from the Director down to the office girls have been almost like a family to me. The compassion that I have been shown means so much to me & out of all the programs I have encountered, this one is by far the BEST. I went to Wingate Wilderness Therapy when I was 15 after my mom died and I wasn't doing well. I found this place and asked my dad to send me. I went in very angry, confused and lost, but I came out a totally different person. I felt like I had purpose and I had reverted back to my true self. I didn't wish death upon myself anymore, i didn't want to hurt other people who did me wrong, I just wanted to start over and be successful in life (and I am). I will never forget the miracle that Wingate helped facilitate. The people who are posting bad reviews did not go to Wingate, they went somewhere else that probably did abuse them. I can assure you Wingate would never do that. Thank you to everyone who helped me back then!

I voluntarily checked in on a Friday and was told I would be able to speak to a caseworker and a doctor. It wasn’t until that Sunday that I actually spoke to only a doctor and that lasted all of 5 minutes. Except for the following 5 min. Physical. I had been feeling suicidal which was why I had gone in the first place. I have a nine-year-old daughter and the doctor had told me had I attempted suicide CPS would have stepped in and my daughter would’ve been taken away from me because it would’ve been considered child abuse. Talk about making me feel even worse than I already had in the first place for wanting to take my life for being in so much pain. What a horrible thing to say to me. I asked if I could check myself out since I had come in voluntarily and she said absolutely not. She wasn’t going to release me. I hadn’t felt suicidal since Saturday. And I've never wanted to leave a place so badly in my life. She said I could refuse treatment but if I did that she would get a court order to keep me there so I wouldn't be able to leave anyway. I felt like a prisoner there and had no way out. My anxiety was through the roof. I had brought in my own medication and the nurses had screwed that up every single day that I was there. I'm glad I had paid close enough attention as so many people in there were barely coherent. You literally sat in front of a TV for 14 hours a day. There was no help and no one to talk to. No type of group therapy and you weren't even allowed outside for fresh air. Talk about making a depressed person even worse. I’m not sure what they meant by a "treatment plan". But I certainly didn’t get one. And to top it all off I never did speak to a case manager. I will never check myself into another hospital again. My experience at Polara Health was beyond horrible. I feel sorry for anyone who ends up in that terrible place.

Our son reached the 4 Year sober mark in July (2025)! Don't want to think about where he/we would be without B2B! Fighting his Fentanyl addiction with 30 day 'clinical' facilities was not working...like sooo many have figured out. B2Bs model of not only working through the obvious detox and therapy needs but adding that critical piece of introducing these young men to how to live as a sober person was/is the game changer. Their outdoor adventures/hikes/activities/camping, weekly community service, being responsible for daily chores, the self accountability that is expected, physical fitness and more is what truly takes these young men from the dark place they feel trapped in to a place where they feel that they are a functioning, positive member of society! Thank God for B2B!

They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and felt welcomed throughout my visit. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients and aren’t just waiting for time to pass. The nursing staff were incredibly qualified and professional, which gave me confidence in the level of care provided here. What really stood out to me was how personal and flexible everything felt. There’s no strict, stingy corporate atmosphere like you might find elsewhere. It feels like a place where individual needs actually matter. I was first greeted and shown actual care by Vickie. She works at the front desk, and genuinely showed care and compassion when it came to getting my first appointment booked. She helped place me at a time that worked best for me and didn't stop until she was able to. Every time I've gone in, she's been so kind and friendly, always saying hello. Having someone like Vickie at the front desk who actually cares about the people going there is irreplaceable. I was placed with Shellby, who is an amazing and talented therapist. She radiates a safe space and immediately made me feel comfortable. Shellby has never seemed judgemental or demeaning with anything I've brought up, and is so knowledgeable in the things she says. I work in the treatment field and recently relapsed. My job got me set up with Royal Life Centers and I honestly can't say anything negative about this place, the staff, or the program they run. I have had a great experience here and would highly recommend this program to anyone trying to better their lives.
