My son was just discharged after spending three months at Embark. We tried other treatment facilities with very little results. Our son appears to be a changed kid for the better although that is yet to be seen, the true test will be when he gets home and some time passes. All the staff at Embark have been absolutely amazing! They are quick to respond to any questions or concerns that we have had and truly seem to care. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Extremely helpful and inviting staff. Very thorough in explaining the admissions process and details of the program. As difficult as the process can be with insurance and all other aspects of treatment, they got things done in a more than timely manner. Listen, I have had in state help and out of state help. Private funded treatments to state funded treatments and Hope Rising has been by far the best facility I’ve ever been too. I have nothing but good things to say about Steps Recovery center in St. George. These people really do care about you, you aren't treated as just another client. Almost all staff are recovering addicts, so they definitely "get it". I highly recommend checking them out. They got me right into a bed from detox. The food is incredible, they have their own chef, his name is Roger and he will hook you up!

My daughter attended this facility through high school until she graduated. All in all a positive experience. She liked it there. Definitely had some issues that required disciplinary action but nothing too harsh. They were a bit understaffed for therapists at the time to the point where the then-director became my daughter's therapist. Aside from that, no real complaints. Would recommend.

My personal experience: I was 16 when I went and I have to admit my behavior was definitely different when I got out. It taught me discipline and respect for myself and others. I learned to make decisions starting from personal responsibility to educational opportunities. I definitely recommend this place.
I fought back the first few weeks and maybe even months but it’s like a wild horse who had trauma, they are eventually going to learn and it’s going to take time.
I recommend! I would go back for the discipline and scheduled order they have.

I went to Falcon as I was struggling with addiction and depression. Although it was tough some moments (as life is) being there was such a healing experience. The staff was so genuine and I made friends I still keep in contact with to this day. I graduated the program and received my diploma with the help of the teachers there. Took the Rock in December of 2005. Mike Richie was one of the more memorable councilors with his 4:30 a.m. formation call-out in the freezing weather just to tell you how great the weather is in the Bahamas. It's one of the most peaceful and beautiful places I've ever been to. I made a whole lot of great memories and friends up there. And would go back every summer to beat this Vegas heat and for the peace of mind this wonderful place on earth gives you. A big shout out to WestCare! 5 stars all the way around. I used to receive services from them a few years ago, but today I took a friend to her appointment without knowing what to expect. The staff were incredibly compassionate and accommodating to her needs (she is disabled!). They made her feel welcomed, spoke to her with dignity, and got her into treatment right away. My daughter was spiraling downward and we had very few options left. SSA accepted her on short notice. We were hesitant but hopeful, and 6 months later she is home and doing better than I could have imagined. The staff has been amazing; frequent communication and to have the open door policy to visit was such a change from her former RTC. It's only been a few weeks since graduating the program but she is doing well. I am thankful for their work with her and recommend for parents and girls who ate struggling.

Sedona SKY Academy is under new ownership and I am very impressed with their nurturing and supportive environment. A lot of the students come to the academy after they have experienced extreme trauma, and majority of their tuition is paid by their insurance company. Last I heard from her, she called me asking if I could take her to flagstaff to a homeless shelter, I said call me Saturday I will take you, she said she will try and find a ride! Haven’t heard from her since, Nikki is on vacation, I’ve left numerous VM and Mssg’s w the front desk, I’ve heard nothing! I would say Southwest Behavioral dropped the ball?

I was a patient at ATMC for 60 days in 2024. In the months prior to my stay there I was battling a serious psychosis, in and out of 4 different behavioral hospitals in a matter of 4 months. The medications and mistreatment were brutal and my family thought I was long gone. My mom found ATMC online and although I was reluctant to go there at first, it truly saved my life.
I had been been diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar for 7 years, I had been prescribed heavy doses of antipsychotics, anticonvulsants, and antidepressants throughout my young adult life. It wasn't working for me, my quality of life was at its lowest.
I spent my birthday and Christmas at ATMC, and I've never felt more at home away from home. The staff is genuine, hard-working, knowledgeable, relatable, and above all, they are empathetic. They make sure that everyone feels included, heard, and safe. Instead of treating the symptoms, they find a way to treat the source.
I can proudly say that I've been off any and all psych medications for a full year now. Instead of giving my autonomy up to a doctor or a pill, I finally have it for myself. And I owe the world to my family, friends, and those at ATMC for that.

NOPE there is a trip dates and afterward you must wait until the next one .So once again she is searching for opiates to keep her from withdrawals .She wants to detox off of methadone to get on Suboxene but that takes time and she will have to go to MMH for it .There is a detox center that does mental health assessment which she needs but was told today there is a waiting list...

Matr isnt a ordinary rehab program ..although 12 step program is in the curriculum it is a small portion of the rehabilitation process ...the staff and counselors have all been patients or in recovery themselves. When first walking thru the door u feel as if u just got to ur favorite aunt or relatives house u would visit yearly..you know the ones who never judged u but always made sure u knew when u were *€!@&÷? Up and gave u wisdom and advice to get thru it..jeanie is the sweetest REALEST people ive ever met..no matter the issue if ur genuine and u give 116% she will have ur back and shes saved alot of lives .kept alot of people from dying ,and serving life sentences in prison.shes known world wide and people listen when she speaks..hasnt been like that always if u know her story.but she spoke up for recovery addiction and other important issues and has gotten alot of laws and bills passed.you work with horses the environment is beautiful..not to mention the mind body and soul work ..its amazing what you learn..this is where u want to be if you want to change ur life..and u can smoke cigarettes .lol..
