Oh my what can I say about this place lol I love everyone here, I know when I first came in I was rough, I was so mean to everybody and I’m so sorry, you guys helped me when I couldn’t even help myself, although the MAT services were making me literally sick, the doctors never gave up & always tried to get me comfortable, my counselor Deana my girl needs a raise lol she has helped me in more than one way she is heaven sent. Anyone looking for a great treatment center this is the one (I’ve been to 3 different ones in Davis-Weber area) & I can’t thank this team enough. I’m 18 days sober after two years of actively being on this medication for the sake of my sobriety. Thank you again for everything literally ❤️

Update about a year later.
I still can't say enough good about this location and the wonderful staff here. So much good can happen w the right attitude and accepting the help this place can offer. Money wasn't an issue, I paid out of pocket to start and they helped me get on benefits to ease the costs. But at no time did they turn me away for any reason. I am so grateful for these folks and the assistance they provide time and time again. They really do care so if you are living so hard and feel like no one cares give these places a chance and get help. Totally worth it.

Each employee at New Seasons has their own special quality. I've only been going 1yr and I know I'd be dead without them. What I love most is if you're having a deep conversation with someone, they never hesitate to share their own stuff if it applies. It's a personal experience not a robotic one. Each person is very special to me for different reasons. If I could change or improve anything it would be the turn over rate with Counselor's. Love you guys! MUAH 💋

My child suffered a lot of trauma and abuse from his biological family. There have always been a multitude of behaviors we have struggled to work with. We have used and consulted with many specialists and only saw minimal improvements if any over the years. Benchmark was the only facility out of at least 35 contacted nationwide that would accept our son. His therapist met him where he was, established a meaningful relationship, set high expectations and held him accountable for his actions.
Communication with the parents from the facility was impeccable, as was the care he received. Our son now has an opportunity to be a self- supporting, happy adult, and family member. He now has the skills and tools he needs to manage his emotions. We will be forever grateful to the entire team at Benchmark, but especially to his therapist.

I cannot recommend Benchmark Behavioral Health enough! They genuinely care about the boys they treat and they made sure that as his parents we were aware of every single thing that was happening with him. I am forever in their debt for the amazing care they provided for him and the life skills they taught him! 10 out of 10, highly recommend!!

Wow, what an amazing time I have had! Flying in from North Carolina, MK, Sean and Becca were really helpful and respectful of my needs for sobriety. MK, guided me through Admissions and played a key part during my time at Pinnacle.
I was worried at first that this facility was just like any other rehabs. Just a common money grab, but to my surprise Pinnacle really wants the best for you. After coming from NextStep Detox, I was greeted by Anthony and Sean! They gave me a great orientation and the clients gave me a warm welcome! Becca and Sean over saw our programming and were very helpful with personal development and were very attentive regarding outside needs during treatment. If I needed to see my legal team or doctors, etc. Becca and Sean would take took time out of their schedule to assist me.
The support staff are very friendly, they treated me like I was their best friend. If I got out of line the support staff would help correct me in a way that wasn’t punitive. Anthony and Brooke are both in recovery and so is most staff, they really cared about your sobriety, and will guide you through recovery.
The food scene is amazing, nutritious and very healthy. Chef Ed is off the chart, a great chef. I’m not a salmon fan, but he made me a delicious meal to substitute for Salmon! Chef Ed picks fresh foods, so nothing is old or boring!
The Interns, and therapists really want to see you be successful. My therapist Julie has gone above and beyond when it came to help my mental health. Her approach to mental health is really awe inspiring. I really appreciate Cassie, Cory and Londyn help as well! The activities are made to help you feel comfortable while working on yourself.
Troy, MK, Sean and Becca have built a truly remarkable treatment facility. From Mental Health treatment, to the recreational activities, their passion to help clients are more than I expected. I’m forever grateful to the love and caring team members at Pinnacle for my journey through Sobriety.

I really learned alot about myself and my addiction at recovery ways Brunswick my therapist was awesome and the staff was pretty cool and fun to be around also the classes were fun and my peers that I lived with were all pretty cool and fun to be around and I also loved the food they cooked all 3 meals also the activities they done with us was pretty fun as well I graduated inpatient then went to php graduated that then went to sober living so I would recommend recovery ways to anyone that is looking for a inpatient program definitely worth it.... thanks again recovery ways for helping me in my journey to sobriety..... I know it's cliché, but I'm going to say Recovery Ways saved my life. They showed me the importance and pleasure of being sober. I genuinely felt like the staff actually cared. I came to Deer Hollow carrying years of unresolved trauma and symptoms that had taken over my life. I had tried therapy before, but nothing reached the root of what I was dealing with until I walked through their doors. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel safe, grounded, and understood in a way I hadn’t experienced anywhere else.
Residential treatment was intense, structured, and emotionally heavy at times — but it was also exactly what I needed. The trauma-focused work, especially IFS, helped me understand why I reacted the way I did, where my patterns came from, and how to work with the parts of myself that had been stuck for so long. The therapists were incredibly skilled, patient, and compassionate. They didn’t just teach me tools; they helped me truly heal.
Moving through the step-down levels of care gave me time and support to practice what I was learning while still having a clinical team behind me. Each phase built on the one before it, and for the first time, I felt real change happening — not temporary relief, but deep, foundational healing.

Despite my difficulties and frustrations deep diving into my past traumas, while utilizing the different modalities offered at DH; I did the strenuous work to process and find my path to peace again. Investing in myself has been the greatest gift. DH’s Therapists, medical staff, chefs, and techs were genuinely committed to helping me through my processing. When you are serious about recovery come to Deer Hollow. It will not be easy, but it will be worth it. I am a Paramedic that came up in the time of “stuff those emotions down”, I’m here to tell you that does not work. They come back with a vengeance and hopefully you don’t take your own life before you get help. Give Deer Hollow a chance, The staff is top notch and they have been through similar stuff and achieved Victory. You will be with peers going through the same stuff, no matter what their background we are more alike than different. I thank the people of Deer Hollow for saving my life. I have been going to the VA system health care for years I always have had good health care.
I have a good primary care team and any time i can contact them also have hade better care at the slc VA care and see Dr's all the time better care though Dr's from the VA then out side Drs

I went to Dental for the first time yesterday and I must say fantastic! Dr Chen, assistant Sam and my hygienist (hard to know her name with a mask and she’s quiet) but so great. Including the staff at the desk. One and all so so great! I use the VA only recently and so far I’m so impressed!! Never a bad experience including phone calls. Have heard of horror stories with VA institutions but not my experience. Thank you!

The Pathways inpatient facility gave me more than physical safety and care—it gave me something I had never truly known before: true emotional safety. The entire staff worked together to help me grow in the three areas of life that must be engaged—mind, body, and spirit. I walked in carrying a heavy prejudice against all men, but it was three men in particular who ended up aiding me the most, showing me that at our core, we really are all just human.
My main therapist, Daryl, guided me through reshaping my mindset and digging into my past to uncover my deepest wounds. He stood by me on one of the most emotionally painful days of my life, and I will never forget Destiny—one of the incredible nurses—literally running after him as he was about to head home, just so he could be there for me in that moment.
Dr. Sellers provided me with the best medical care I could have asked for. He never rushed through visits, always taking the time to explain not just what he was doing, but why—making sure I understood and felt safe with my treatment. I also want to thank Dawn, a powerhouse nurse who believed in my strength even when I couldn’t see it myself, and who pushed me to rise to the challenge.
Michael Ryan gave me the gift of faith and clarity in my higher power. He challenged me in ways I desperately needed, helping me confront the destructive core beliefs that caused me so much suffering and turn them upside down. He gave me the tools to question my own thoughts, and to approach them with both curiosity and compassion. Somehow, even in the middle of facing the hardest truths, he still managed to make me laugh and feel safe. I would also like to thank Lonnie, whose powerful meditation sessions left a deep impact on me. His encouragement meant so much because it came from a place of such authenticity.

There are many wonderful organizations and people in service to helping others with treatment and recovery. For me, the right fit was, is, and will continue to be Pathways. These folks are authentic in their desire to help change lives. They are some of the most remarkable humans I have been blessed with coming across in life.
They are talented and skilled, and well equipped to meet mental health and substance abuse needs. They are particularly experienced with integrating well-rounded trauma focused treatment, using a variety of evidence based treatment modalities.
Pathways staff AND clients create a safe space of healing and growth, and a place of acceptance and belonging, and without judgement. As a pathways client, I feel a sense of unity, community, and unyielding support.
Pathways has LITERALLY saved my life. They have helped me find healing, and open doors to change my life. They have equipped me with the confidence, strength, tools, and understanding of my root influences to my recovery needs to live a new life, my best life! I was here for about 3 months, then was in sober living briefly, before going back out. Even though I relapsed, I have never seen a more personable and available and real group of people willing to help you. I put you guys through some SHIT. Especially you Tina. Lol. The therapists are good, but only human. Theyll crack you open good. The real question I suppose is was I better off having come here? Absolutely. But in the end I had to assess whether I was really doing what I wanted. I regret leaving. But I also needed to figure some things out for myself. I miss the community. And dont think they are in it for the money. They arent. They were willijg to pay for all my housing, keep me extra time, and let me stay even when there was no way I should have been able to. Thank you Mark, Todd, Kirk, Dee, CHRISTIAN, and Tina, and all of the therapists. Im currently in detox and really trying to get my life in order. Wasatch is worth every cent because of Todd he told me that I was recovered the day I stopped using drugs. He is one of the greatest minds the Recovery community has. I am writing this from a hyperbaric and still sober. I didn't stay the whole time but I got what I needed. As a veteran in the opiate epidemic and a 20+ time rehab connoisseur. I can say Todd one talk with him brought more healing and more recovery than hundreds of meetings, doing the 12 steps and thousand hours of treatment groups. Find your people. Be of service. Give back. Heal your body. Up north there's a hyperbaric and wellness in ogden ran by a beautiful women named Mel who is also phenomenal human. If you go there try the tesla coil. It is a phenomenal for balacing your energy. I truly believe addicts are healers and if we can conquer our addiction we can light . Anyways thanks for coming to my ted talk

Worst place ever, I swear no one can pass this program people try there hardest and still can't do it, if I say so my self after seeing a lot of reviews and people talking about it it does not seem like a safe environment why is there stabbing? And why are they making kids feel so miserable and crazy, this in not helping there mental health but making it worse I had a friend in there who never got to make it, but he was the best and goodest person there, it's crazy how they have 1-3 months on there website but they are trying to make my friend stay there even longer than those months, and seeing that review about that poor kid he does not need to be there getting caught smoking is serious but not serious enough you have to put them in rehab, is for people with serious addictions and they are supposed to keep on watch of you, and take care but this reviews are so sad.

This place WILL help you ... while there is no silver bullet cure the facility in Layton has the knowledge and experience to treat each patient just as the individual benefits the most from. I include my name because these folks have given me the active life I want back.
There is no one correct answer for a person who is struggling with substance abuse. The staff at Layton CTC do work together hourly I've noticed to make a real plan likely to work for each Patient. I graduated from Action in September of 2022 and I will be coming up on 4 years sober. Action literally helped save my life. There weren’t a lot of options for a good aftercare program in the Northern Utah area after I got out of rehab and luckily my rehab recommended Action. They are kind and patient yet most importantly they hold you accountable. If others don’t hold you accountable when it comes to your addiction, it is super hard to stay clean and sober. Action is a 12 step program and I know that might not be for some, but don’t let that scare you. You learn so much more than the steps and take things away from the program that you will continue to use as I have to help keep my sobriety. They also have wonderful classes to help family and friends that are affected by their love ones’ addictions. My parents loved going to family group night and it helped them understand more on why I had an addiction problem which made them more effective tools in my recovery. Remember one day at a time, never quit quitting, you are worth it so work it and you are loved and seen. Want your life back? I highly recommend going to Action.

I gave Action Recovery a five star review. The program has helped me to stay sober with the tools that they have taught me and classes that they provide. The staff is very caring and understanding and very knowledgeable about addiction, this program for addiction is more like a family. It’s amazing how the clients care for each other. i’m retired and I love how they’ve been flexible and understanding about my vacation requests and my family time with my grandkids and their sports activities. Their weekly meetings for NA and AA are wonderful they allow you to be open and there is no judgment. I highly recommend this treatment program.

I recently had a teen come here in the summer, in May. I have also had a child come here before, three years ago. Both times were very positive and the staff did very well. They have an excellent Inpatient Program, with different levels of progression that works really well (prudently structured and effective). The meals and facilities are great. The staff that deals directly with Inpatients are very good at what they do. The counseling they offered is by professionals who are outstanding at what they do. A lot of the things learned during the time my teens have been there have stuck with them and they still use that knowledge today--One of our teens went through the YRT program--
I hope to never have to bring another family member again to Inpatient Care. However, if I did, it would be to The Hunstman Mental Institute. They are very good.

So I've been on methadone before and tried getting off it cold turkey and if I can give any advice don't! Be patient and do it slow by tappering and just trust the program, I went two months in complete hell withdrawing that was beyond fun, I tried going to my original clinic but they couldn't take new patients so I came here, Mary is my counselor and she made me feel very respected and she was extremely caring and listened and just made the whole process very easy, I highly recommend this clinic if you are struggling and need help, utah is extremely hard getting this kind of help and its hard finding people who actually care and listen, dr Stephen is also very compassionate and listen as well, thanks for all your help I feel my life already getting back on track.

This is an amazing place, from the doctors to the nurses to the counselors. I have never been treated with more respect at any health care facility much less anything addiction related. Each employee at New Seasons has their own special quality. I've only been going 1yr and I know I'd be dead without them. What I love most is if you're having a deep conversation with someone, they never hesitate to share their own stuff if it applies. It's a personal experience not a robotic one. Each person is very special to me for different reasons. If I could change or improve anything it would be the turn over rate with Counselor's. Love you guys! MUAH 💋

Our experience with Copper Hills Youth Center was better than I expected. Our daughter really benefited from her time there and learned better coping skills, more about herself and what helps her. The communication between education, nursing and therapy were all wonderful. The activities and events planning always has great plans for the kids. Our daughter got to enjoy so many outings and things at her time in Utah.

We all know the VA medical system sucks, but this doctor in urology this morning makes it suck even more. I arrived plenty early for my 9am appointment and I was left in the waiting room until 9:09 when someone took me to the exam room and told me the doctor was running "just a little behind." Not even any vitals, which we all know is standard. I explained I had somewhere to be after this and the doctor rolled in about 5 minutes later to let me know he would be right with me. Fast forward to 9:26 and still no doctor and no exam starting and I had to tell the check in desk that I couldn't wait for him. He's a young doctor with probably no experience anyway so I'm not missing anything, but come on, you're dealing with military veterans who have been ingrained with "early is on time and on time is late." Find a new place to work, Doc......
