This facility was recommended to me due to great reviews. Recent patient at this facility. From the moment I stepped foot in here, I felt right at home.All day we have activities and/or classes and we are kept busy being filled with knowledge on how to cope on the outside world.I hope to never be back. The longer term support is essential to staying accountable, being with your peers, and building the life skills to stay sober. I was in their 2 week Relapse Prevention Program in 2003. I have been clean ever since! Facility was scenic and serene, staff was beyond amazing. Their overall approach offered total holistic focus treating the INDiVIDUAL. Diversity in spiritual accommodations including Native American. Absolutely Loved my stay at Olalla! Great meals everyday coffee too(if ya get up early enough). The staff I had during my experience were some of the best counselors & people you ll meet! Counselors will definitely call you on your BULLSHIT & keep you accountable(Can t bullshit a bullshitter, they say). So good luck trying to skate by or just faking it to make it. I got down to some good core roots I never thought of before, got a lot of Dark Things out in my time here too. Also not too bad of classes either! With a slightly more stoic approach one could say maybe, lots of good new info! Also, when you get towards the end of your stay, if you re feeling not quite ready to leave, you can ask for extension(s) too. This place is really about their patients, as groups tend to be no bigger than 6-12 people, so, plenty of questions to be asked, searched for, & answered!!! I was in the Falcon Group, our group never got bigger than 6-7 people. And it s males with males & females do there daily groups with just females, allowing for a little more comfort/support when sharing personal matters. Absolutely love Olalla & would recommend this inpatient facility to ANYONE struggling with addiction!!10/10 s

It’s hard to put into words the gratitude I have for Hotel California and its staff and treatment programs. It took me a couple tries, but I finally decided to participate and take the help I was being offered and in a month I will celebrate 4 years clean. The combination of substance abuse education, mental physical and emotional health therapy they provide is top tier. My life has changed in ways I never imagined and it all started with the love, personal care and faith that the staff at Hotel California so graciously offered to me. Newport saved our daughter and set our family on a stable path to recovery.Last fall we were losing our daughter to mental health challenges, PTSD and increasingly unsafe behaviors. It took 3 tries to get her to commit to Newport, but after the first few weeks of adjustment, she made more therapeutic progress with the team at Newport than in all of the other interventions we've tried to date (years of CBT therapy, DBT skills, and peer groups) .We are now 3 months out from her discharge and we still have moments of stress but Newport put us back on the same team in terms of addressing challenges together and we have been super impressed with how our 15yo is using skills to navigate the tough moments.We are extremely grateful to the Newport team for everything they did to get through to our child and earn her trust in their process.

I've been establishment in 3 separate VA hospitals and I have a few issues I've been dealing with that requires consistent care. Of the 3, my experience with Puget has been fantastic. I can't say the same about the other two. I want to give high praise specifically to the pharmacy techs. After switching my seizure meds, they called and ensured I was on the right track and was very informative. I've spoken with about 4 separate techs at this establishment and they've all been absolutely delightful to speak with. They've always gone above and beyond to make sure I was set straight and fixed any issue I might be having. I had communication issues with my personal care team (who had ignored me for an entire week) who went back and forth with the pharmacy until the issue was fixed. This was at 4:50 P.M on a Friday when everyone gets off work, but the tech (I wish I remembered her name,) was determined to fix this issue no matter what. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about my experience with this team and I appreciate all your efforts. Any of the heads read this, you should take that team out for lunch or give them a bonus.

So upset this treatment center is closing!! Typical corporate decision. I am alive today because of their treatment. Clean & sober for 15 years with no desire to drink, do drugs, and/or binging on both. The comments from the new owners were disrespectful and ignorant about the process. Treatment is not easy in any program, but if it saves lives why end it. Shame on you Universal Healthcare! Many lives will be lost by closing this hospital.

I feel like it needs to be said that no one will kick an addiction in 10 days. Even the traditional 28 days won't end the addiction. There are no shortcuts to the life long journey you are embarking on, if you choose sobriety. What Schick does - is give you the tools, and take away the cravings so you can handle this huge life shift.I have been abusing alcohol for 8 years and finally decided I needed professional help. Schick is working so far for me. I've been 81 days sober as of today.What the treatment is like:There is a daily schedule of meds, vitals, and group. You will spend the mid morning through mid afternoon either completing a sleepy (propofol conscious sedation treatment where they ask you a series of questions related to getting sober, and staying sober) and counseling, or a duffy (ipecac aversion treatment where they give you ipecac and then have you drink alcohol. you quickly become ill to associate drinking with nausea.). Late afternoon are various groups.Pros:-The medical director at the hospital is a true patient advocator. Sabrina is incredible.-The community. I felt safe sharing in group, and gained some friends I imagine will be with me for life.-The counselor John. I've been going to therapy the past ten years, but HE is my favorite person I've talked through my mental health with. Compassionate, empathetic, just a good listener, and has great life advice. He's been there done that, and helped me see some great perspective. His lectures are also my favorite.-The program. Schick gives all of the same literature that any other rehab gives, but also has the aversion therapy, and sedation treatment.-The resources. The media wall, the counselors, the lectures, the movies, the hypnosis videos, the 4 agreements, etc. There are so many resources it was hard to take them all in. But theyre all powerful and have continued to help me outside of Schick.Cons:-The nursing staff. For the most part I didn't have a problem. But some of the staff had no bedside manner whatsoever. Some said misogynistic comments. Some did room checks late at night with little regard to patients sleeping. Some argued with other nurses in front of me. Either the nurse was great or the nurse was pretty unprofessional. And I didn't see much inbetween.-Not a diverse group at all. As a black queer female I felt out of place here. It's mostly white men in their 30s and 40s.

After 28 grueling days at Lakeside-Milam inpatient treatment facility in Kirkland I did not want to do intensive outpatient. I was initially told that outpatient treatment was "2 days a week" so imagine my surprise when Milam in Renton tells me it's actually 3 days a week for 3 hours. I tried to resist but my wife said "go" so I did. I'm so so glad I did. All my reservations went away that first week. Lisa was perfect for me. Straightforward, knowledgeable, funny, and kept control of the class in a good way. Much of what was covered wasn't new to me but for the first time I was all in, paying attention to the ideas, concepts, and information being presented. I attended every class and graduated to Phase 2 with Dulcinea. In Phase 2 we covered relapse, healthy recovery tips, how to handle life events without mind altering substances. I needed everything that was covered because I was a chronic relapser. No more. At Lakeside-Milam in Renton I developed the skills and the support I need to stay the course, to remain on the path in recovery. I wouldn't be where I'm at without the help and guidance of the staff at Milam especially Lisa and Dulcinea. Plus you'll make new friends. Resistance is futile. Go and grow. You won't regret it

I honestly don't know why the rating for this treatment center is low, I have been to evergreen and nwih and this place doses you the quickest. And the staff is friendly, there's no judgment. It's a clean clinic, for all that I'd give it 5 stars based on my experience so far. It's definitely better than the other clinics I have been too. Hopefully their ratings will goo up.

Gosh, where do I start lol. I contact them about an issue, turns out they weren't able to "help" me but they indeed helped me sooooo much! I spoke to a lady named Krystal. She was so empathetic, compassionate, thorough, professional, knowledgeable and polite. I was so impressed. The level of care was top tier. Even though they couldn't help me with my main concern, she reiterated that they had no issue with being a beacon for some sound advice and resources to help me on my journey of finding what I needed. Been using there services for 15+ years. Today I call to get ahold of my Dr. I just needed his voicemail, after a 5-6 min. of being on neglect a receptionist answers, so I briefly told her my situation and need to get at the very least his voicemail. She sends me somewhere, it rings 2x and goes back to that music they make u suffer through as u wait being on neglect and after a 7 minutes of being on hold the phone disconnects! Angrily I try dialing them back up to where I got a pre-recorded message where it WON'T let me even leave a message.... VERY VERY IRRITATED!!!! NEED MED REFILL for over a week. Anyway that's my rant!UPDATEI'm not sure how but the Dr. I was trying to get in touch with, called me back!! It went from being irritating to shockingly great in a matter of 15 minutes.Originally gave 2 stars, I had to go back and make it a 5 star! Above and beyond, great people, great service. I would highly recommend ETS. They have been nothing but great since my first day!!!

Yes Evergreen services has done a terrific job of helping me. When I first started it was rough but eventually I made progress. You have to put in 100 percent but they were very patient and understanding. Thanks Michael Brend

I had been going to Evergreen Treatment Services in Seattle on Airport Way but forced to come to Renton ETS when Seattle's building was damaged when water pipes burst due to extremely cold weather. Though I find it an inconvenience to travel from Seattle to. Renton, ETS Seattle did is best to facilitate transportation via shuttle I found it very helpful that you can for up to 2:30pm at Renton. Just needed to take Metro bus 150 if I didn't make it to Seattle ETS by 12:45pm, that's when Seattle's last dose would be and last shuttle left also. All in all it has been an ordeal but the experience has made me aware of the clean facility and kind people who really do care about the job they do and respect for us clients who struggle with addiction. Thank you to all for helping me get my life back on track.

All the ladies up front are really nice along with all the nurses. I'm glad that somehow they can deal with some of the stuff and people they have to deal with. If I haven't been going here since they opened (before the fentanyl we have now) I would never think any of the nurses and the gals at the desk to be so nice all the time. Especially when I'm in line behind someone being a real POS to the ladies when it's never their fault if there's any problems. It's always because of decisions the junkies make. I hate asking them for anything because they have to deal with so much already I hate adding to their pile. I've personally had a few times the nurses have helped me when they could have just told me to dose and leave. I can make this review a lot longer, but I'm gonna stop here for now. I don't bounce around from different clinics, but I wouldn't bet on anywhere else doing such a good job

I transfered to Wecare for a while it's way closer to my home. But I'm not daily, and they will work with you, from where you are. They'll get around all the unnecessary red tape and BS they can, and every time I make my dose, it's high 5s and smiles all the way from the staff. They make you feel wanted, and you can't exaggerate how much some of us need that now. To me, it's worth the extra few miles... I'm driving though, not everyone has been as lucky as me on that so this is just my calculation and experience. Chin up.Anyway yeah it's great for a methadone place. They're totally good enough. And in this industry that should be celebrated.

Evergreen also provides acupuncture for clients at no out of pocket cost. Dr Anne is understanding, easy to talk to, cares about the ppl their seeking help. Helps you plan out short term/long term goals for individual treatment plans, all the staff genuinely want to help you watching the growth in your recovery without judgement. Reception staff at front are so busy and so great setting everyone's appointments and addressing your needs. Everyone of the staff are friendly caring & on top their game.
