Their Youth Recovery Coordinator, Rene Carrillo Avila, has an incredible gift for connecting with youth in a nonjudgmental way that makes them feel heard and respected. Because of this, kids trust him and families feel truly supported. He listens, coordinates care, and never makes you feel like a burden. I've been going to comprehensive for a year and from my experience I noticed that the office is very clean I also know that they prescribed great medicine unlike some places that prescribed medicines that don't work very well they see people of all ages they don't get angry with the patients they speak clearly and they have snacks and drinks.

I highly recommend this place, especially if you’re LGBTQ+ or just a very sensitive person like myself. Went here for about 4 years and even the therapists I didn’t feel were right for me were very kind! I did end up having to stop services here in January because I fell extremely ill and didn’t know when I’d be able to return but I would’ve continued afterwards if I weren’t moving. Only knocked off one star because I felt a bit awkward after ending services with the very first counselor I met with here, but overall it was a pretty good experience :)

This is my second attempt at this treatment facility. I chose to come back because of the way I was treated and I felt there is something special about this facility. I was way more involved with my program and the 28 days flew by! I felt like the food was a major improvement and there was an actual chef making breakfast, lunch and dinner an enjoyable experience. My interactions with staff were very dignified and professional. Besides my counselor encouraging my needs and experience made my group feel more comfortable. During my 28 days I was able to not miss one group lecture or AA meeting. I was even the first person to be elected group leader 2 weeks in a row. Since leaving JOTC I was able complete IOP &OP at the triumph facility downtown. I intend on working at the treatment facility as soon as winter quarter is finished. I’m proud of my recovery program and the tools that triumph has given me. 10 months on the 8th and trusting the process and understanding that not everything will change immediately helps me immensely. Thank you JOTC and Triumph for helping me through the process!

I recently completed 28 days at JOTC. The staff was amazing and if one applies oneself like I did and one is supposed to do while there, one will leave with a solid base to start their recovery. My counselor was fairly new but was awesome and other counselors were always ready to talk, answer questions and provide other packets such as a grief and loss packet I completed along with 16 others besides what I was required. The AA/NA meetings lead by outside volunteers were awesome and I have contacted several of them since getting home. The food was amazing. The other staff members were also attentive and cared about clients. The mental health staff was way beyond incredible and I am finally stabilizing in the proper medication. Like any treatment center, you get out of it what you put in.

This place got me clean 12 years ago. Drug treatment isn't supposed to be day camp . Jotc was a fundamental piece of my recovery experience. If you want to truly get clean, it starts with you. Thank you jotc.

Hands down the best treatment center in our area. I cant point out just one thing. Its everything and everyone. From the staff to the accommodations. These people really want the best for us and our fight with addiction. I didn't make it all the way to the bell, because i wasnt ready too. And still they treated me with respect and love.
