I was recently here and the staff were very professional and respectful, counselors were informative but the total class time was minimal. If you want clean time this is the place to go, if you desire more structure I'd recommend abhs. But. Now a year later I'm still clean and I owe it in part to this program. Without them who knows? I could very easily have died by now

So this was the only treatment center I have ever attended so I don't have much to compare it to but most of my issues I had with the program where not so much because of the program itself but my own bitterness towards it. Now having said that the building was definitely in need of some TLC and it was obvious that budget was going more towards the staff and counselors than the treatment center itself.Outdoor activities where on par for an elementary school not so much for grown men who want more than a volley ball court and a broken basketball hoop but hey it's not a retreat. The lecture hall was my personal favorite place in the whole building. Saturdays all the clients would get together and we'd watch movies on a giant projector screen and if you're a quiet person like me who likes to keep to themselves it's usually pretty empty in there after lunch till it's time for lights out. This place had 2 amazing counselors whose names I can't remember. My counselor was Viki and she was a delight but I must say she's better as a friend than a counselor. Now as far as the counselor that drives the Tesla he's a real a-hole and the fact he's aloud to be a counselor of any sort blows my mind. But you gotta remember it's not up to the counselors to work your recovery and that's something I had to learn months after I left blaming them for my failed sobriety when really it was me not working my steps. The freaking food tho was so good every meal. Like I'd happily relapse just to go back for that lol. But seriously your recovery is on you and you are worth it. This place has its flaws but if you focus on yourself and your well being its a great place to take a step back and take a deep breathe. JOTC truly set me on a path of recovery. I just had to get over my bitterness and work my steps.Don't be discouraged recovery isn't easy but your life is something worth doing it for and I love you and I'm glad your taking a step towards the greatness you deserve.-Keegan Stonebraker graduation class of March 18th 2022

I am that I am and I have been guided by a very strong heart and her desire for others in the right hand of that one true relationship with just one and only one. And I had the pleasure of having my heart broken by a world but then again it wasn t a good thing that hurt my heart was not knowing me and I had to become that one who stands by being given the praise that baby infants child had deserved to receive love from others is to become that love for anyone who has been broken by a person, place or thing and hurt ourself to make others hurt for our very selfish reasons and it was another person who in turn made to the other side of things and their own life stood there having been lost not having known it s one way not two other lives that have also mattered but did they? So thank you SunDown for bringing UP MY PAIN AND SUFFERING IN A WAY THAT LEAD ME TO MY RIGHTSIDE OF BEING BORN ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE WORLD AND HAVING BEEN GIVEN A WAY I ASK THAT THE VERY FIRST BEING TO ENTER A PLACE WAS THE FIRST THING I DIDNT LIKE WAS THE NOT KNOWING WHAT WHEN IT WAS MORE LIKE WHO THEN WHAT IS THE WHERE AND WHEN THE WHY, I AM THE ONE WHO IS and always will be loved by me and I who is the only person I need in place of that one thing being that who in the whole of me and not just the one who had been there before me and that was the physical being human and the other one being spirit wasn t there for the right person to see me as I failed me that was the only one who was not me? So the other person who was the one who got me and the one who is my friend and best friends at that is another living persons heart and the place is the physical presence in one s sight but not my own heart is the life of one person great is the good in our lives but no matter what happens know what happens to me is the who and what is the where and when as to one s why that is the most precious person of our whole being our one and only person in a whole life that is or wasnt right but didn t mean our first day wasnt our last but me as I am that infant child, love born anew, thanks to you, SunDown M. Ranch for your service support and most of all the first day of our journey to our new self love is our matter of being loved by one is our new day birthday present is the gift of life, love and joy to live it wholesome you are so loved by one person who loves you in place of one thing? BEING! (Love) and all that you are for those who made it through this journey to the other side of our very known being that first day of our life and it is written! So be loved by knowing you are one!

Counselors that really care. Personal touches with passion for recovery. Rules of n absolutely NO communication even saying hello or thank you with opposite sex, so be careful they take it very seriously. (even simple thank you) They scheduled recovery groups and lectures are scientific and informative. Aa and na meetings are happening very often. Those are in the lecture hall. All genders are present for these meetings and lecture. Be comfortable taking direction and follow the rules. They are bound by health department requirements. Don't take it personal.FOOD IS GREAT!!!!!!Also, if you are detoxing from fentanyl or other outages I would highly recommend going to detox completely. Alot of folks even up leaving who haven't fully detoxed first. There is Suboxone available per orders ( won't be prescribed untill opiates all fully out of your system) from the internal house provider Doctor. He will sometimes alter people's medications in treatment for sleep ( to see how effective sleep medication is. Methadone has to be prescribed prior to coming as they legally can't change or order those medication per federal rules. There is also a limit to the dosing of methadone. I talked to somebody who came in with a 220mg dose and they wouldn't allow her to take it . As it was above their limit of doing they would accept. Confirm with them first before coming your dose and if it fits within their approved limits. Other narcotic prescribed elsewhere like benos, ambient, or Adderall are not given during treatment at facility.Would recommend this place I got a lot of positive tools, inspiration for change, and reinforcement! Your life is worthy of a chance to thrive. These people put love in their practice.

Sundown m Ranch honestly saved my life if I m being honest . I was treated with respect and with love and I had the best counselor Chris Pryor. She s an amazing woman and I learned a lot from her . I came there pretty broken and left with some people that i now call my sisters . I am now in iOp and this is why I am mainly writing this review Michael Davidson is ABSOLUTELY one of the best counselors in any treatment program and I know I haven t been to any other but that s how confident that he truly can t be beat. All the way around he s a great person he truly cares and truly is amazing at what he does . If anyone gets the chance to get to know him then do it. That man plays a huge role in my continued sobriety thank you Micheal Davidson . It s been a pleasure !

Went to Colonial Clinic November 2020, and I am so incredibly grateful I found them. At the time I attended (I hope it's still the same to this day) they require attendance of an outside support group, and strongly suggest getting a sponsor. I followed the suggestions and am still with the same sponsor to this day (May 2023). Did Colonial fix my problems? No. But it was a great first step coming here. That's why I give them five stars, because they kick-started my lifelong recovery process.

I just completed treatment at New Horizons Care Center and I am so grateful for the help I received. Ashley and Chris were so nice when I had to schedule appointments and when I had questions they directed me to the right person. My group leader Dustin was beyond helpful and the most wonderful support I have ever had. He was the right person, in the right place, at the right time that I needed in my recovery journey. He made groups very enjoyable and made me want to do better. On days where I didn't want to go to class, I showed up and was glad I did. My counselor Jo was a huge support as well. She made MRT and Relapse Prevention fun. This is the best treatment facility I have been through. ( I have been through a few). I believe in my heart this place has made a great impact that will stick with me for the long haul!

I have been going to new horizons for about 6 months now. It has been a journey for sure! Everyone I have come across has been very supportive, caring, and genuine people! If you don't see any improvement, its literally because your not putting in your own self work! This is the first time in my life being sober after 24 years of doing my choice of addiction. I wouldn't been able to make it as fair as I did without the help from my counselor, my group leaders, and my therapist. I am very grateful I choose this place to finally become sober. If you are serious about becoming sober. Please try this place out. You won't regret it!

Comprehensive Healthcare is a great company. They helped me since I was young and they're still helping me. They got this winning award therapist Dr. Suzanne Noble who has been working with me, helping me and counseling me and I don't regret any of it. She's done a great job. I am who I am today is because of her, she taught me thousands of things about life, how to handle any situation, how to make it better living for me and many things. I learned a lot from her and I am so very grateful for her and to have her as my therapist. She's awesome! And I love her. And I hope she'd counsel me until the day of her retirement and I will really miss her! It's an honor to have her as my therapist, I didn't have that many therapists in my life and she's my longest therapist.
