I volunteer here and I have been in recovery for many years, this place is one of the best places I have ever seen. The staff and people who run and fund this place really care about their mission. They provide food , medical care, job assistance and all the help for the participants to recover and be successful to re-enter society, if the person fails it's his own fault.

My son had intake at the Seattle location with Sam. He was amazing! We are now established at the Tukwila office and let me tell you, I feel like we are finally getting the help we've been searching for. Gitane and Joe exceed expectations of communication. I walked into Bayview at my lowest point in life. It was hard for me to accept treatment. I refused that I needed help. I thought I was fine and that I did not need the help.However that really did change after spending some time in the mental health and substance abuse programs. The counselors were really amazing and the way they structure their program really does help. Every one of the staff is easily approachable and they can all relate to you as the patient in some way. The staff do everything they can to help you and make you feel safe and easy to talk to them. I went in as a broken man and I came out someone better. If you really want to get better, this is the place to do it. Anyone here that writes a bad review or says that it did not work here in the review section did not try to get better. Instead they are blaming a place that truly cares about the patient and they gave up on themselves.Again if you really do want to get better come to this place because I cannot think of another program that is well structured, professional, and as caring as Bayview.

A very helpful and professional recovery center. The classes were informative and instrumental in my continued recovery. The recovery house atmosphere was pleasant and helpful staff all around aided in my recovery. My case manager “Jeff” was awesome, a true professional with concern for his clients always uppermost in his mind. Ok at first I give them a 1 star I was being reviewd by women ! They had no f’n clue !
As soon as I got a man things picked up ! However still not where I need to be almost a year in my dose is still not powerful enough so I have to take double or even tripple the amount to still barley feel it working !
The result a lot of wasted time running out early I mean it sorta sucks ! However my psychiatrist is pretty good actually I like him a lot however it seems like it’s taken forever to get me on the right dosage for my Adderall. Hopefully this will change because month supply last a half a month and I don’t feel it working. Life is too short to be not feeling the way I’m supposed to feel and get my projects accomplished, I guess if you really need it you hardly feel it. Well, I guess that’s my case so we get a four star

I came out of my last relapse broken and in so much pain I thought I would stay broken. I decided to finally reach out and get help that I found out I so desperately needed. I did an intake with the staff at Olalla in Gig Harbor and they got me into intensive outpatient very quickly. That with another program, I began to heal. I can not say thank you enough to everyone there for the help and love they showed me in the time I was with them. In about a week I will celebrate a year sober. Truly sober for the first time in my life. All I had to do was follow a little direction, be openminded, and completely honest and willing to do what is needed to do to work on myself.

Went in there a wreck. Learned some decent ways of identifying and dealing with the reasons I want to use, before they wrap around me again. Don't get me wrong there is no miracle place, unless someone wants to open there eyes they can't see. But this place definitely had the tools available if you where willing to learn how to use them.

Nurse “GiGi” in 606 bed 2 was The sweetest woman I’ve ever met in my entire life. I came in with a serious injury that was self-inflicted and she was the closest thing to Christ I’ve ever seen. The most loving, sincere, sweet and professional nurse I’ve ever had. When I think about how I would like the world to be, she embodies everything that God is I am so grateful and thankful for her and her listening ear. Arrived 6/26/25 O/2 level was severely below the norm. I thought it was asthma, nope my heart was drowning from fluids.
(Pneumonia). Triage went right to work.
My anxiety level was surpassed by comforting thoughts. I was admitted for the longest stay I have ever had in a hospital.
Now read closely!!!!!
First floor east triage all teams get super high praise. I could hear what all staff members had to endure and I applaud their ability to stay composed... They (staff) needs to know that they are the best hands down anywhere!

This place has been nothing but good to me. I think a lot of people aren't understanding of the fact that a lot of places are short staffed anymore and the people that are working have a big work load on them. We as individuals must advocate for ourselves and not wait for someone else to get the ball rolling for us. I've had some great therapists and some not so good, but they always help me find someone else to better suit my needs. I've been going here for a few years now and I recommend it. I appreciate all of the people that work here. They have always been kind to me. Don't give up on your mental health. This place has seriously saved my life.

I have been through four rehabs. I came to ATA because my attorney sent me to them. I was arrested for DUI. My checkered past with rehabs came from jobs or family members pressuring me. I ignored everything until I was arrested. I had a blackout and drove. I could have killed people. Everyday I see the news and read about people who drive drunk and killed people. I am blessed not to be in the news. My assessment from ATA opened my eyes. I have had a lot of violence and trauma in my life, but I have to take responsibility for my choices in life. I am grateful for the compassion and guidelines i got from the relapse prevention program. ATA did everything to make me grow. They did not lock me into a never ending program for their own profit.

The fact that they send you with the rest of your meds when you leave is a big thing. I was able to continue to not use and thankfully I'm 9 days clean and I couldn't be more thankful. It's truly a great place they are constantly checking on you to make sure you're okay or if you need anything. Definitely wouldn't have been able to do it without their help.

I see a lot of one star reviews from years ago, maybe things have improved a lot since because I haven't had issues at this location, all of the staff have been polite and kind, and therapy with Anastasia has really helped. Their service dog is very calm, he loves being petted and he always smells nice. The clinic is older but clean. I've been going for maybe 9-10 months now, I signed up for text reminders so I don't miss appointments, and if I'm not feeling well or have my kid home I can call and change my appointment to a virtual zoom call. I completely understand if some patients had a bad experience, I personally haven't had issues. I've even seen a few super stressed and/or demanding patients come in late, and the staff fits them in. Maybe things have improved in recent years.

Up with medical referrals, insurance, dates of appointments etc. My first visit was with alyssa chard and i'm telling you she addressed every single worry that I had in my head over my health and she didn't rush me. I felt like she treated me like a whole person who cared. My prescriptions were filled right there at the clinic that day. They set me up with sports medicine for my bad knees with a visiting doctor by the name of dr julio perez who remove fluid out of my knee and give me painless steroid shots. When I left the helpfull staff there had me set up with physical therapy, a nutritionist, a return visit with doctor perez, and plans to help me get into a doctor who can give me knee replacements- all written down and highlighted for me!! This place fascinates me! I like it to be a small and private facility instead of a large counseling corporation because the recommendations I receive in this place are based on my needs instead of a general recommendation. The appointments are conducted by very well trained professionals, I recommend it to all people, it is an excellent place.

Much better being that it's a small private practice rather than a large corporate owned D & A Assessment center. You will actually receive a recommendation based upon your needs, instead of a recommendation made to make the company money off of you attending unnecessary and costly classes,which of course they conveniently offer. Assessment is conducted in a professional but not impersonal manner. Would recommend Motivations for anyone needing to take a court ordered D & A Assessment.

I brought my daughter here who is in crisis. From the receptionist to the security guard, these folks have been nothing but helpful. This place, the fellowship, the sponsor I found here, and most importantly my Higher Power (that I call God but you can choose your own as long as it is a Power Greater Than Yourself) is not only keeping this hopeless alcoholic addict sober, its changing my life!!! I appreciate this program so much, Although I was mad starting out as everyone here is. Coming to each class and interacting with staff here, you’ll see that each person isn’t selling anything or here for the paycheck. They are REAL with real human experiences trying to guide us on a better path. My counselor is Norman and he’s as real as it gets! he tells us how it is while being kind funny and compassionate. Highly recommend this program to anyone going through substance abuse.
