The staff was very kind and helpful. 24 hour nurses on staff is a must and very appreciated being someone that had problems sleeping from withdrawals. The classroom was engaging and helpful, the teachers did a great job explaining how to be successful at staying sober. I m almost 1.5 years clean and never have cravings but know what to do if I did. You can t pick who your in there with but it feels so good being around people that know what your goin thru and like to talk and get to know you. Wish I had more of those people when I was there but it is what it is, gotta stay positive and focus on getting better regardless. They have lots of games to play which was a blast and a great way to keep the time rolling. I would definitely go back there if I needed to, I feel a lot stronger and better off after getting treatment there.

A clinic with amazing staff and fantastic recovery environment. The people here truly care and are always there to make sure you re on the right track. I ve been here for almost 3 months, and have been able to recover through their support and kindness. I ve had Ken as my therapist there and he is wonderful! The best clinic in Clark county and all of Portland. After a lot of hard work, I have gone from being homeless and using to owning a business and home and staying clean because of the care and empathy this clinic and it's staff has for the patients here! I have 6 years clean next month. I also was treated horrible at North Star and Belmont making treatment harder to work the program. When I came to VTS the quality of care is so much better then other clinics I've been to. Ken is an amazing counselor and really cares about you as a human. The nursing staff is incredible esp. One of the best and most meaningful experiences of my life. I understand I got the perfect set of circumstances; my room location, my roomate, the people I went thru detox with ect. The people who work there are mostly very loving and caring if you need them to be. They will try to make you as comfortable as possible. Beds are not bad, TV with cable in room, allowed to eat in rooms. I came in on my knees and left stronger person with lifelong friendships. Extremely thankful for my time there. PS. The provider Micheal is FINE FINE FINE! So thats a nice distraction.

In 5 years I have gone to 3 other places for mental health treatment, and was always treated like I don't matter. HPWC is far and above an example of how counseling clinics should be ran. The amount of support, kindness, and empathy you will receive is overwhelming. Please, if you are in crisis, go to Lifeline. I will never forget all of the staff members who hugged me when I cried, and told me I deserve all of the love in the world. It was endless. Their clinic is great, however I see that their GPS needs to be updated. I tryed calling to talk to someone about canceling my appointment but they said they were closed. Well for one these guys and gals go wahhhay out of their in helping me. Even tonight if it werent for my Dr. Seth Mercurio and his being an impeccably great doctor for thos e on recovery i had no one else to go to and even after about 8 months ago gelling them i was to be taken in seriously ..well i was having a very hard time and they understood. Talked it over and helped me and still ..gone out of their way to make sure my ailement would not take me to the hospital,which is frankly embarrassing for me well he pulled out all chances of that and put me first me and my boys and saved the day. I had to attend a drug and alcohol education class facilitated by Scott Sims CDC and I was dreading it a bit. I assumed it would be dull and redundant. This class was anything but. The one star reviews scared me, I won't lie. I tried Sea Mar anyway! It took eight months to get in. When I finally did get my appointment everyone I encountered was extremely kind and patient with me. Their OBGYN department was extremely kind and encouraging. I felt heard and I really really appreciated that. I would definitely consider scheduling again in the future.

IDK. Everyone has their own experiences. All I know is over only had a few interactions here and everyone from the ladies who answered the phone and had to get back to me with information to the actual primary who saw my kid were ALL frankly fantastic. Helpful. Eased my stress of the situation each time I had to contact them. I'll hate moving and having to start all over again because I've been to more than a few clinics I liked a whole lot less.

Overall I'm grateful to this place for the help that they've given me, cause I'll be real, they can only do so much and then it's up to me. The reason for four stars is because of the wait times, they are ridiculous, and the way I feel I'd that there had got to be a better system put into place so that people who are their to simply dose can do just that and get on with their lives..if there is someone doing anything other than that then there should be a line for other stuff. And the people who cheat and can't wait in line is becoming a huge problem. Honestly I feel like it should be a take a number system or something...alls I know I'd something needs to be done because there's been days I'd rather just take the AWOL and turn to leave once I see the line. If I had a job I would be very upset at the process because as it is it appears they don't seem to care that people have other things to do. Perhaps there should be a cap on the amount of patients maybe, the policy take everyone that comes obviously is causing more problems.

This place has changed my life! My counselor Carrie is the best!! She always makes time for me and really cares about my recovery and my life. The staff here have always been respectful and supportive. I have been in and out of treatment for many years and this is the only place that has helped me to achieve any kind of real clean time. Beautiful calming lobby, friendly security guy handing out bottled water, reception was well staffed with friendly, knowledgeable people, got in that same day to see someone and was assigned to a counselor who's a good fit for me, we just started working together. I have a fragrance sensitivity disability and the staff here worked with me on that. I think this place is amazing, and such a godsend to me right now.

Gunna go big here with the FIVER. 5 stars babyyy!! Why?The bottom line is that I am happy it's here and I'm thankful for the employees. Everyone has lives and deals with things, I can only imagine the people that come in. That said, I had an amazing experience here after not seeing a doctor for over 15 years. Not to mention their male flobotamist is an absolute master of the craft.They offer dental in the same building? Hell yes!Anyways I have now been to this office a handful of times and each time has been fast and wonderful.I'm seeing a lot of ONE stars of people complaining about rudeness etc....i think those people suffer from what I call "MY WORLD" Syndrome....where they don't take into consideration that employees are humans with emotions too.A lot of people think just because it's a clinic that said clinic has to do do do for them. And that's not reality!!! Same on selfish people.If any employees see this: YOU ARE LOVED. YOU ARE APPRECIATED. Update: much better in 2023-2024! Loved my dentist and very much appreciate the sliding scale.I have paid for my services and ma still waiting to get my work done. They have cancelled twice and when I call to reschedule-make me wait until the first of the next month to attempt to schedule again- which has not been fruitful yet- 4 months later. Oy.

With all the reviews I was scared to go to this place but the doctors, nurses and staff were amazing. I've had a lot of bad experience with doctors, and the doctor listened to me and helped. I was at lakefront before this and some of their doctors are super disrespectful to the point where I left crying. This place deserves at least 4 stars. Not sure why this office is getting hate... they're really ontop of stuff for me and they seem like they care.

Since switching to the Kelso from the Longview one, I've had nothing but good experiences here. I've found the staff fantastic and quite professional. People do need to realize that it is the low budget provider. However, I've never felt that way towards this hard working office

I'm surprised by the negative reviews. We see Melissa & she is awesome! She really listens! Sometimes referrals take time, but she sends them right away, so i dont know why its so slow to go through (Possibly insurance). We've never been treated negatively by anyone there. Appointments are a couple months out, but if you call right at 8am for a same day appointment, they can usually get you in. You do have to wait on hold though as I do think they are usually short staffed. We will continue being patients with this clinic.

The journey of recovery is completely impossible for me in my own. Starting Point has incredibly kind, compassionate, knowledgeable staff and have gone above and beyond their call of duty to assist me during my journey. The groups were full of support and education and the vast amount of resources have truly helped me. The payment plans made it adorable to do out-of-pocket as well. My daughter also comes here & she has had a really great experience too. I m sure part of it is who your counselor is. But if you get a counselor you don t mesh with, speak up and ask to be switched to another one. But yeah, mine has really helped me
