I have a friend who is helped by this facility. They are WONDERFUL about taking your calls and addressing immediate problems. Other places in Charleston (a particular doctor who has since retired) never helped them like this place does. Erin Neff in particular is wonderful and does a beautiful job!

Clean and clear is the best place I've been through, as addict I can say this place definitely works and they whole heartaly care about the residents and will go over and beyond to help and get you anything you need. The BHTs/staff are also recovered addicts and know how it is so I would without a doubt recommend this place to anyone looking for a change even if your behind bars give em a call you never know might just mess around and find out.

I really appreciate clean and clear rehab for all they have help with they have a special group staff there they will treat you like a person and not look at you like a drug addict as well as having 3 good meals a day nice rooms to really make you feel at home and a nice gym also

My son was taken by ambulance to this facility in Parkersburg West Virginia. We were out of state and this was our first emergency visit with our son. The staff was amazing and the Dr was the same! Our son ended up landing himself with four stitches in his forehead and as it was a very traumatic situation the staff was very reassuring and provided the utmost care and support. We were out of state 6 hours away and completely lost on what to do who to trust and the team gave me such relief to trust them with our baby boy. They did such a phenomenal job and he is doing great.

I’ve been going to Prestera for 3 years. Even when I moved to Parkersburg I continued my treatment at Prestera in point pleasant because of the quality of treatment I receive there. My counselor Bethany is absolutely amazing, the person that did my intake was so informative and my psychiatrist Jaime that prescribes my meds is the best psychiatrist I have ever had in the 12 years of treatment that I have had from several different places. She evaluated by asking key questions and engaged with explaining things to me in a way I could understand. She interacted with back and forth conversation and really put a lot of thought into selecting medication that would help me. She took the time to listen to all the meds I had tried in the past that failed and I am so grateful for the effort and level of care she provided to me. The building is old but they are doing renovations on it. But seriously it’s not the building that matters it’s the staff and the quality of care to really help individuals with a workable plan of treatment. They are on the ball and fakers beware. You won’t fool these professionals they know their stuff. Best care I have ever gotten. I’m sad to be moving out of state and I hope I can find a mental health team as dedicated as this one but if it wasn’t for them helping me lay the groundwork for my life I wouldn’t be moving ahead into a functional future. I’m getting married. When I started with Prestera 3 years ago I would have never imagined I could grow this much or move forward in life to this extent to have such a bright future ahead. Thank you to the Prestera team for helping me heal.

Prestera has changed so much since I was last seen there. My therapist Kristen is the best and she actually cares about my mental health. 5 stars no doubt!!! Staff is WONDERFUL!!! Every time I go in to that office, especially in the last few weeks, every lady in that place is working their tail off. Although some feel differently about certain situations, I have come to understand the importance of remembering that they do have to follow the laws and do as they're requested to do. From my experience in this office, they care a very great deal about their patients. Every issue I have had in that office, I have had the privilege of talking with Mr. Steve Sams which has done a stunning job listening to every issue I would present to him. This is an absolutely wonderful business (of course has some flaws just like any other place) with very, very hard working staff that does everything they possibly can to take care of their patients. Unfortunately I've heard that the office will be closing next week, so so sad to see it go!!!!

This plce truly saved my life, i went there for substances other thwn alcohol, at times it can feel like being in high school all over again but at th3 end of the day it just works as long as youre willing to do the work, the staff goes above and beyond and out if their way to help you. The staff is truly amazing and caring and they know how youre feeling as theyve been thru what youre goin thru personally, they will give u the shirt off of their backs, they teach u all of the tools and the skills needed to stay clean and sober, i unfortunstely walked oit aboit a week ahead of time due to my own stupidity but thank god i have 44 days as of the time im writing this.. if god forbid i messed up and got off track and reqlized i needed help asap Harmony Ridge would be the absolute first place i contact, thank you all for helping save me *Barboursville Location*

These people saved me! From the doctors, nurses, and counselors. To even the office manager and receptionist. These people really care! They don’t treat you like less of a person because of your “situation” they are respectful and professional. Honestly, if more treatment centers would follow the lead of this one. I probably would have gotten help 10 years ago. If you are 110 percent serious about getting help. And you choose to go the maintenance route. This is the place! I never would have made it if the staff wasn’t as supportive as they are. So thank you to everyone there! They listened to me when absolutely no body else would! They didn’t judge me when absolutely everyone else did! they were kind to me, when no one else was! And they had faith in me, when even I had no faith in myself! I read through the reviews, and I can assure you. Do not base your opinion of this place by the bad ones. If you are truly ready to make a change in your life. SROs truly gave me a safe friendly environment to grow in my recovery.. it's a drug free environment with friendly management and staff.. that holds me accountable with random drug screens which Im happy to take. Its giving me back my life adulting..Not enough privacy and too much freedom in my early recovery didn't work well with me in my past.. I am blessed to live here along side many other recovering addicts.. I have also been blessed to see the parking lots fill up with cars and friends move back to their home towns or new apartments.. The opportunity to heal here gives me hope to continue on my recovery journey. We do recover!

Prestera is a wonderful mental health organization that serves the state of WV. As a CCBHC they pride themselves in giving quality care to every individual who walks through the door. There are programs that can assist with anything from severe mental health issues to social needs such as housing, and obtaining food stamps. Each department works together as a team and coordinates with other departments to ensure continuity and competent care.

I absolutely won't go anywhere else. I feel love at Prestera. The staff and the new intake team are great. They understand me and know what I need. I love it. I will mention a few names that have helped me: Kristina Clark, Sandra Brown and Lora Morehead and Sean Riley. The are the best. I'm serious, they are great!!

Im alive because of the treatment center ive been here a little over a year its changed my life i would recommend this place 100% to get help doctor wait sucks but its worth it. Update im 4 years sober now. 2025 New update ill be 10 years sober in January i couldnt be happier. If your thinking about getting help do it give it a try i no longer wake up in pain or having to make "those" phone calls im able to eat breakfast. I can spend time with the people I love. No more bowing to the porcelain god. I can relax and watch a movie without Cravings every 2 sec. I feel free. Its anonymous btw i love the groups. The doctor wait has gotten so much better. They also have subutex its like suboxone an the shot dk the name. Its not just methadone like the description says Plz stay safe out there

I was in for outpatient total hysterectomy. Dr Brumfield, was doing my surgery. The staff that he had during surgery was absolutely wonderful. They made me feel comfortable and relaxed. While I was in recovery, all their nurses & staff were wonderful, as well. For some reason, I was scared. I kept telling them I was scared & they tried to comfort me. Finally, after seeing my husband, I was a lot more comfortable and able to relax to come From being under the anesthesia. I would suggest this medical care center, to anyone. The staff was top-notch, friendly, caring, understanding, willing, and patient!!! I had a great experience. Thank you, St Marys Medical Center. Thank you, Dr Brumfield. Thank you, staff!

My husband spent four weeks in St. Mary's following a cardiac arrest event that nearly took him out. The ICU staff at St. Mary's was incredible during the critical part of my husband's care. He was on full life support for about 4 days, and the staff who supported him - and his family - could not have been more professional or compassionate. He ended up going to the 4th floor once the critical phase was over, and the staff there were equally amazing. My husband can be a tough patient, but the entire staff at St. Mary's handled him with kindness and a great deal of patience. I was surprised that he was airlifted to West Virginia out of Eastern Kentucky since I thought he'd be sent to Lexington, but I can't imagine he could have received any better care than he did at St. Mary's Hospital. Thank you - you all walk around with invisible wings!

Amazing service. Great staff. Just yesterday I had an appointment at this clinic. Afterwards I went to Rural king and dropped a salt lick block on my toe. Worried that it might be broken, I returned to the clinic. As a walk in, I asked the clerk if they do X-rays and explained my situation. She said take a sit, they'll be right with you. Not 10 minutes later, I had my X-ray taken and I was out the door heading home. I am very blessed to have access to this clinic. They do great work and I would recommend this clinic to any veteran in the area.

I'm a 2013 Graduate. The Rea is an absolutely phenomenal recovery home for women. Fantastic program. I couldn't recommend it more. All of my needs were met and I was taught how to live again. I've maintained my sobriety, graduated college, achieved gainful employment, and purchased my own home. My successes are also The Rea of Hopes. I couldn't have made it here without them.

The entire staff has been great. Nothing but good positive things to say. I have been treated with compassion and kindness the 8 days I have been in their care. I will never go anywhere else for health care. The problem was identified quick and treatment began immediately. Thank you to the entire staff for the taking such good care of me.

My husband spent 5 days here, was seen by multiple Doctors and NP, but really received a definite diagnosis before leaving, never understood what was the cause of all his problems and there did not seem to be any rhyme not reason to his care, it was all divided into different MD's and he was not given a care manager.

HRS is where all my recovery seeds were planted more than 18 years ago. I went to Bassett House willing at 15. The staff at HRS and Bassett were AMAZING! The nurse from Bassett is still in my contacts to this day! Has it been easy? No. Has it been worth ot. Yes! I would highly reccomend! The aftercare will be just as crutial!
