I ve been here 4 times, actually. Only completed twice. The other two I was there for a day maybe. I wasn t ready. However, I was forced, essentially, to go back in 2015. I was So broken. Was coming off of a 5 year heroin habit. Had just gotten hit with my 3rd dui in 10 years( mine were years apart). Pleaded into drug court. Court ordered here then their affiliated halfway house: the Lighthouse . The staff was unbelievable. I ve never had support like that with such kindness and genuine care and compassion. They helped build me up. They gave me the tools I needed for the next steps of my recovery. I couldn t stay clean for 4 hours let alone 4years. Which I ended up achieving after the Lighthouse. This place provides the tools and staff and environment for one to develop the structure, support, discipline and knowledge they need to actually get clean and achieve long-lasting sobriety/recovery. Thank you for saving my life, and all the others you all help If you re struggling, please reach out to them. We are losing too many parents, siblings, and friends. I ve been resuscitated more times than I can count. However, these people have never given up on me, and please don t give up on yourself. It s so dangerous any more. Hopefully I ll see you at some meetings

An exceptional model of integrated healthcare for veterans. The integrated treatment approach allows for seamless referral, virtual visits and stacking of appointments to minimize clinic time for clients with complex medical situations. Clinic staff are also very respectful of our veterans and grateful for their sacrifice. The clinic has been a blessing in my father's life.

Amazing and caring staff here! Very very on top of all medical needs & you actually physically see & talk to a Nurse Practitioner every single day you are there! As well as video appointments with a therapist weekly if not more! Very clean environment & living space! Smoke breaks hourly! Detox is rough but I see why they do it the way they do! Group meetings all day long, 8am-930pm every single day(some learning, some music, some games, some coloring or journaling, some patient picks, and some therapeutic)meal breaks(3-30 minute meals) & smoke breaks every 10 til the hour! Lots to drink, healthy snacks, you keep your cellphone on you at all times!! State provides meals, snacks, drinks, cigarettes(yes smokes), transportation, hygiene, medication, and even clothing or shoes if you have none!!! I met the most amazing & the most kind hearted people at this place! Thank you Northwoods and thank you STACEY for helping me get into Rehab as fast as you did! 5-7 people within 2-3 days she got placed! Thank you everyone for your kindness while I was in such an emotional and fragile state I was in & being new to that type of assistance! Allied Addiction Recovery has been one of the best desicions I have made for my recovery! The meetings that I attend through the week help a lot! Cassandra, the therapist whom runs group is just amazing at what she does! She genuinely cares, and goes above and beyond to help each individual reach their goals and full potential! She has helped me personally through a lot of hard times! The atmosphere is light and positive. However for some the group classes could possibly be a bit overwhelming at first. I am required to do 3hr groups 3 times a week. It just takes a little bit of motivation and determination! Everyone is different and need different things to successfully recover from addiction. However these lengthy classes/groups are what helps me the most.

I went to the ER after experiencing one week of constant abdominal pain. I was placed into a room with in minutes, saw a doctor and two residents shortly after that, blood work and imaging were ordered and completed within an hour, results, which we're explained to me in language I could understand, took less than an hour. I spent maybe a total of two hours in the ER department, before I was taken to surgery to have my gallbladder removed, THAT SAME NIGHT!!After the surgery, I was place on an inpatient floor for observation. The staff were all so caring! So nice!!! I can't say enough good things about EVERYBODY I came in contact with! ER, surgical staff, inpatient care... Not one unpleasant person in the lot.My stay in the hospital from registration in the ER to discharge from hospital was about 11 hours. My pain was managed so well, that I had absolutely NO discomfort during my stay! After returning home, I will admit I was uncomfortable for the first three days, but my follow up with the surgeon was four days after surgery. He was very concerned about my pain and took the time to give me a numbing injection to dull the nerve pain from the one incision site. After this, I was better than new, it was like I was a whole other person!!!I would and have recommended this facility to friends and family and strangers! ANYONE! Not only was the care fast and great, everyone I encountered seemed to truely care for not only my comfort, but for ME!
