This was my second time receiving treatment at Hazelden, and I truly felt a deeper sense of connection and growth this time (quality of service improved since last time ) This time, working with my counselor “nas” made a big difference in my experience. He showed great understanding, professionalism, and sensitivity while addressing my addiction challenges. His approach was thoughtful and respectful, and I always felt safe and heard during our sessions. Really loved the mental health part and mental health professionals!! I’ve learned so much about myself, and I’m proud to say I’m now two months sober.

I was referred for my son, he has a multitude of mental health struggles, he had an anxiety episode because it was new and the therapist called in the receptionist and said he was being disruptive to everyone in the building, he tried to grab a toy and she forcefully held it down on his hand in the basket it was in, then we left and I got a call from an officer that they called the police on my son because he was hitting me. He's only 6. Very unprofessional and they clearly don't know what they are doing.

I’ve just started working with Jennifer as my treatment counselor, and I can already tell she’s going to make a real difference in my recovery. She’s extremely kind and welcoming, which makes it easy to open up and feel comfortable in group sessions. She listens with genuine care and offers guidance that feels both supportive and practical.
What stands out the most is how she contributes to the group. She’s encouraging, fair, and always keeps us focused on moving forward. I can't say enough good things about Transformation House. My experience here was a night and day difference from my previous treatment center. My counselor was incredible – so empathetic and understanding, which made it easier to be honest and work through things. The entire staff genuinely cares about your well-being. It's clear they're not just going through the motions.
What I appreciated most was that they focused on helping me find the right path forward, even after I left. The outpatient program they connected me with was fantastic. Today, I'm proud to say I've graduated, I'm in college, I have a job, and most importantly, I have my kids back in my life.
My advice to anyone going to Transformation House is to be honest with yourself and your counselor, and truly commit to the process. Stop making excuses and put in the work – they will meet you where you are and provide the support you need. I also built some strong connections with the other women there. The staff creates a supportive environment, but ultimately, your willingness to change is key. Transformation House truly changed my life, and I'm incredibly grateful for how far I've come.

Dr. Kyle Olson has been my doctor for over a decade and a half and no matter how far I have moved, I still drive to go see him. I'm so happy I found him and have stayed with him ever since. Not only is he an amazing doctor with incredible analytical skills and extensive experience who looks out for your best interest but he is also very genuine, kind, easy to talk to and get along with. He's been there for me through my highs and lows and has been my rock. He is the doctor you dream of finding which is also why he is so busy but definitely worth the wait for the best care for your health.

I’ve been to the Eau Claire ER and subsequently hospitalized on 3 occasions over the past year and spent at least a month combined here. From the person delivering my food, cleaning the room all the way to the dr on the floor I was consistently treated kindly and with respect.
I was told once I was the nicest patient a nurse had and I think that kindness goes both ways.

Gwen and Scott are the best. I tried other treatments, but this one is definitely the best. All the other ones I tried, were for profit, and it truly showed, they were more interested in moving you to a higher level of care than actually helping you. My advice, always choose a non profit treatment facility, and Canvas is the one I chose and I highly recommend it.

8 years ago, this was my last resort for a healthcare system. Since then, it has completely transformed and has shown itself to be, in my opinion and experience, the gold standard for healthcare.
As a transgender person with chronic pain in a city full of religious hospitals, it can be difficult to find a doctor that takes me seriously. Not at Mayo. I recently had an ER visit turn into a 3 day inpatient stay due to possibility for complications, and I have never received better healthcare in my entire life.
The staff was knowledgeable, compassionate, with excellent bedside manner, and even more than that they actually listened to my concerns and took them seriously. My pain was managed thoroughly, I didn't have to settle for suffering alone in a room. The doctors asked all the right questions, they gave me every test they could think of to find the root cause of my visit and ensure my safety. The nurses made sure I was comfortable, wanted for nothing, and went above and beyond to make sure I would be alright.
I want to give a special shout out to Stephanie on the second floor. Stephanie, you are the best nurse I have ever had. Thank you so much for everything you did for me, and for the comfort you provided to me during a terrifying and agonizing ordeal. I hope you - and all the nurses I was lucky enough to be under the care of - get the daisy awards you so thoroughly deserve. I'll never forget you.
My experience at this hospital has revived my faith in the healthcare system. Thank you. A thousand times, thank you.

Excellent medical facility with high-quality professionals. I’ve been treated here on a number of occasions for a variety of different issues, as well as my family members. Dr. Kyle Olson has been my doctor for over a decade and a half and no matter how far I have moved, I still drive to go see him. I'm so happy I found him and have stayed with him ever since. Not only is he an amazing doctor with incredible analytical skills and extensive experience who looks out for your best interest but he is also very genuine, kind, easy to talk to and get along with. He's been there for me through my highs and lows and has been my rock. He is the doctor you dream of finding which is also why he is so busy but definitely worth the wait for the best care for your health.
