Webster, WI | Northwest Passage Riverside is located on the Clam River in Webster Wisconsin. It is a 70-acre family-style residential treatment program for adolescent males 12 to 17 years old. Experiential Therapy and Activities The facility has a varied approach to treatment in | Treatments Payment Options | I went there from 2024 through 2025. NWP helped me in ways that I could not imagine before going there I was struggling with things that other people don't even want to begin to imagine. when I first got there it was a very rough experience until I met a staff named Grant. at first I did not connect very well with grant, but once I got to know him my stay there got much better. all the staff there were beyond amazing but grant was by far my favorite staff. not because he worked there but because he really understood where I came from. from my worst to my best moments he was there for me, even when did stupid things and he wasn't happy with me. I would like to thank all staff for working there who helped me move on with my life and put my past in the past. I had a very good experience there, the staff treated me better than I deserved and the others. I made some pretty good friends there that I will never forget. North West Passage will forever hold a spot in my heart. with everything I got thank you for everything you guys have done for me. It means more thank you think.

I am finally giving this a review roughly 8 years after I left that 30 day transition program. Let’s be honest here, there was some rough moments while I was being assessed but that’s to be expected, why? Because everyone has different needs and working in that type of field, dealing with troubled kids, can be a difficult job. Here are my pros and cons.
KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS REVIEW WAS FROM ROUGHLY 8 YEARS AGO.
Cons:
1) I remembered a staff trimming her nails in the cafeteria while we were having breakfast and to me. It seems like some staff back in the day, worked there just for the convenience.
2) I was treated poorly by other patients in my group because they assumed false things about me.
3) The way they disciplined misbehaved kids was a bit cruel. After they restrained them, they would put them in a concrete room with pads full of (maybe memory foam). Each kid was told to sit on the pad (in the middle of the room) and calm down. There was a security camera in that room for safety, while there was a staff standing outside the room. There was a window high enough for the staff to peek into the room. I personally was in that room a few times and it felt horrible. The only positive thing that came out of that room was being on the other side, being with the group and feeling safe that the misbehaved kid wasn’t with our group for X amount of time.
PRO:
1) I learned what essential oils were and how useful they are to help calm the mind. I remembered a nighttime staff going out of her way to find a specific essential oil for me that was in a different part of the building, so that I can smell it throughout the night and relax during a tough time.
2) I remembered friendly compititions, popsicle stick catapults, street hockey and other friendly compititions where the winner gets one free meal from subway
3) I learned that photography is a great coping skills as well as essential oils.
4) despite having some issues with some other patients, I got a long with other patients.
5) We went to the Burch Barn to do the corn maze
6) we also went to the ecomart to grab some marshmallow fluff
7) despite feeling like some staff are working there for the convenience, I feel like the majority of the staff there are working to help misbehave kids.
8) Staff are very observant and responsive towards misbehaved kids and things that might develop.
Q) Why are you posting this review now and not years ago
A) I am posting this review now because I feel like I have reached my peak at changing. I will admit, it has taken years to change my behavior and learn how to live my life with my new behavior. I am in college for photography and this year is my first year as a freelance photographer. I have reached so many milestones this year, I feel like I have changed who I was and became a better person, with help from Northwest Passage.
I recommend this place to families with stuggling kids because even though I have had some negative experience at this place, I genuinely feel like they want to help those kids develop helpful skills as well as helping families too.

Northwest Passages- For 30 day+ testing only. As a parent this was a hard choice. I'd do it again though.
My child went here for testing & we had a positive experience. The communication I had with the Case Manager made all the difference in the world! I was kept in the loop on daily activities & how my child was doing.
I really appreciated the staff & the respect they showed for both my child and myself.

Wow! What a journey. Please take this seriously for those in addition or wanting to recover! I went here during covid season 2020 when I got my DUI. I was regretting it, didn't take it seriously, etc. I did my month time stay there. Went home continued with addiction cause I still didn't care. After mother's day weekend on 05.09.22 was my first day of sobriety. I'm still sober to this day. Let me tell you what, I've had the most fantastic experiences and time of my life sober! Looking back, wish I'd took things seriously. I even got off probation this year in June. I wasn't supposed to get off until November next year 2024. I mean God's work is honestly a blessing and you definitely feel him working thru you. I remember starting out here at this place, they said "higher power" and I'm like naw, I don't got that. Not even my kids. Oh yeah, God is my highest power! This place is amazing! Trust me! Great staff, food, location, etc! Just please get help! It's not worth your life ending on bad terms! I will never go back to that life style. Sobriety is just the coolest 😎 Lord the energy you have, stability, motivation, passion to keep striving and going in life! Yes!! No more laziness! It's just nice! Thank to this place and the DUI was a huge lesson I needed to kick my rear end into gear! Let's keep going! SOBRIETY ROCKS! SOBRIETY IS THE COOLEST 😎

Current resident here at Auschwitz... Ooopes I meant serenity manor haha pretty easy to confuse the two. Anyway not really a good place to go unless your chill with just existing instead of living life to its fullest. There is no treatment programing or group of any kind so calling it an alcohol treatment is laughable. House full of slobs and thief's who don't really care to clean up after themselves, or just cleaning themselves for that matter. Staffs lazy as all hell with one exception whos just power tripping and condescending like no other. She just runs around being rude and constantly looking for something you've done wrong or haven't done and will unjustly punish with the almighty hand of Zeus. Place is dirty and theres a little hallway to go outside and sure enough there's a stray turd just laying there right in the middle of the floor, and me on my phone unexpectedly steps on it and fell right on top of it, very traumatic experience. All in all I think Auschwitz would be a vacation compared to this poor excuse of a scam business. Ciao

Wisconsin is ranked 19th nationwide in terms of addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $56,625.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Wisconsin vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of the treatment types listed above. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below.
There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Wisconsin. Most treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in Wisconsin that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options. Here’s the complete breakdown of how to pay for addiction treatment in Wisconsin.
