Absolutely love this place!!! Staff is awesome and genuinely care!! Ive been to multiple treatments during in my addiction and i have never gotten as much out of it as I did at Ashwood. I made amazing connections there and the support is great. Would 10 out of 10 recommend this place to those that are struggling! RECOVER OUT LOUD!!!

Ashwood was just what I needed. I knew I had to make a change and that I could not do it alone. I had no idea how to put my foot down and start the healing process that would empower me long term recovery. It is a long journey but I feel fully equipped now to step into the rest of my life. The counselors, especially Heather, Brian and Trevor really impacted me with their wisdom and compassion. The great team here was super welcoming and helped me grow. I miss coming in on a regular basis, but I will stay connected with alumni.

Brickhouse genuinely made a difference in my life. I came into the program during a time when I needed support, accountability, structure, and people who could see the person underneath everything I was struggling with. What I found was a place where I could be honest about where I was, be challenged when I needed it, and still feel supported rather than judged. The staff care about the people who walk through their doors, and that matters more than I can explain. Recovery isn't always a straight line, and Brickhouse gave me tools, relationships, perspective, and a foundation that I continue to carry with me. Some of the people I met there have become an important part of my life and recovery outside of the program as well. If you're struggling and wondering whether you're worth showing up for, you are. I attended and graduated from Brick house recovery after almost a year. I've been in and out of rehab for 40 years. I've never been able to find lasting recovery. Brick House was different. They provided a balance of education and emotional support with a huge dose of love. Even when they could have kicked me out they chose to love me though it. It has taken me a while to write this review, but there isn't a day that goes by that I am not thankful for this place and its incredible staff. Before coming here, I was struggling with severe alcoholism. It had reached the point where I could barely function without alcohol, and even with it, I was barely getting by. I was losing everything—my husband, my job, my family, and my closest friends. Making the decision to go to detox was one of the scariest choices I've ever made, but it was also one of the best. Allumbaugh House took me in and changed my life forever. This was my first experience in a treatment program, and the staff were absolutely wonderful. They supported me through every step of my stay with compassion, kindness, and encouragement. Thank you to every staff member who helped me during that difficult time. I was released on September 16, 2025, and I have been sober ever since. I can never fully express how grateful I am. Thank you for helping save my life. You were the answer to a very loud prayer.

After a terrible experience with another provider here in Boise who nuked his practice and got arrested, 988 hooked me up with Access Behavioral Health, who moved heaven & earth to get me in for an appointment with a prescribing physician inside of 3 business days. Every appointment with Susan/every interaction with the rest of the team at Access has been next-level fantastic. Their systems are great, their people are the best, and they have an excellent in-house pharmacy, to boot. Can’t say enough great stuff about these guys!

I started seeing Dr. Press because I was really struggling with my relationship and also feeling pretty lost with what I wanted to do career wise. I had a lot going on in my head and honestly didn't really know where to start. What I liked was that he didn't just tell me what I should do. He asked questions that made me look at things differently and helped me understand some of the patterns I kept repeating in my relationships. He was also really good at helping me separate what I could control from what I couldn't. Over time I feel like I've gotten a lot more confident in myself and the decisions I'm making. I'm still working through things, but I don't feel as stuck as I did when I started. I also appreciate that therapy doesn't feel like I'm just sitting there talking while someone nods. There are actually things I take away from the sessions and think about afterward. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is dealing with relationship issues or just feeling stuck and trying to figure out what direction they want to go in life.

I just read the reviews on this place. Some were not good at all and I think it is the individuals who left bad reviews might need to take a good look at themselves… I’ve been going there for a few years now and I can’t imagine the staff being rude or unprofessional, I’ve never had a doctor actually listen to me and spend the time to get to know me and really act like they care… Sammy rocks and I hope she doesn’t go anywhere any time soon and if she does, I hope she lets me know where!!! Absolutely love this place and will continue going as long as the doors are still open!!!

Joe’s House provides an amazing transitional housing experience! Joe goes above and beyond in all aspects, starting with his relationship with all of his tenants. Compared to other transitional housing options, Joe's House provides a much cleaner, safer, and upgraded living experience. Joe's houses are pristine, peaceful, and foster an independent living situation. With individual rooms for each tenant offered at such a low price, you truly get more than you pay for. Human supports of Idaho is a great place with very kind and professional staff. The providers here are extremely caring and knowledgeable, who also happen to bring a sense of character and friendliness into situations in order to foster a sense of belonging. The psychiatrist, Dr. Koontz, is exceedingly knowledgeable and always has the sense that he knows how to tackle a situation with effectiveness and with the best intentions at heart, caring about your needs. I can’t say enough how wonderful the environment and the people within it are and I will always sing their praises.

So from the beginning of entering the program I was a complete I mean a complete different person my life was so out of control when thinking the whole time it wasn't so bad looking back know without the tools and counseling I would not be the debbie I am today it has changed my dramatically if anyone goes into this program I pray they get the right counseling that I had Carl prints has helped me more than anyone with the counseling and structure I love who I am today for the first time in my life Juanita always helping me threw all my difficulties the people there are so amazing I had my ups n downs in the program but I went threw allot of traumatic things sam being there when I lost my son with his big bear hug they showed me the right care and ways to work the tools when I graduated I was scared to death I had the structure then just let loose but I found myself a whole different person today I've advised people to go to the program it changes l8fes if people really want to take it seriouc just everyone molly always willing to go the extra mile and Stephanie Pamela rose so man6 people there have changed and taught me the right direction n path the knowledge I know have today I will carry on to anyone who wants to hear my story hands down thank you human support of Idaho I love n rock the deborah sampson I am today thank you all from the bottom of my heart

Lifeway's hospital was the very first mental hospital that I was court ordered to be in due to a suicide attempt at only 19 years old. I was so scared and anxious. From the moment I arrived, everyone was kind to me. I stayed for 3 days. It's a very small building (about 16 rooms, I believe). You don't have a roommate which was awesome. Night staff was by far my favorite staff. Day staff was also good. I just preferred night staff because they matched my humor more. Probably because it was less chaotic during night time lol. All the groups were awesome and optional. I was able to call my loved ones anytime I wanted except after lights out. Food was basically hospital food, but it wasn't terrible. I am not diminishing anyone's experience. I do believe that nurses and even volunteers can be rude and disrespectful. That was not my experience. Every doctor listened to me. All the workers were accommodating. Personally, I had a great experience. I hope to never go back for obvious reasons, but Lifeway's would be my first option if needed. That terrified 19 year old was taken care of by all the staff. I would recommend 🫶🏼

The councilors that I've had here, where great. I currently seeing Natalie she's very awesome. She helps me a lot with perspective. Even though she is part of the older generation, She is kind and open minded. She really makes my week better when we have our appointment. She is really helping with life right now. From the beginning of where I was when I first started doing counciling to know I'm in a much better place. I'm still struggling with life. But she helps me see it differently and see myself more positively. The other councilors I have had were awesome. And helped me grow a lot. I hope the company is treating them fairly . Because people like natilie deserve to live comfortably and be happy at work. Counciling isn't easy for both ends. It's hard on patients and the counselors. I'm glad she helping me through life right now. I appreciate what the councilors here have done for me.
