It’s a great place. The parking is extremely easy. It is located beside the railroad tracks up on a hill. They do draw blood and do labs in house, which is extremely convenient. They offer mental health and general practitioners. No specialties are located there. You’ll need to go to Birmingham for that.

Very thankful for the Childersburg VA Clinic and the professional staff there. Haven't had an issue, and everyone has gone above and beyond to help me. Thank you to everyone there 🙏

Childersburg VA has an excellent staff, Especially Dr.Michail Shakhmatov. Dr. Shak is very thorough and always takes whatever time is needed to listen to you, and make sure you get the best care. I have been in the VA system for 30 years, and this facility is A1.

Unbelievable lifesaver. Amazing teachers, aides, staff. They are caring, they communicate. Take amazing care of your child. My son has progressed a ton since attending. Don’t know what we would do without this amazing school/ etc. Dream come true.

I was pleasantly surprised when I first came in here. The staff was very professional and quick to help me with everything they could. The treatment was also very good and has helped me a lot.

I think it’s great that they offer online therapy because sometimes it is hard for people to talk in person . I personally think it would Be great if you could just text or email.

I have seen both the counselor and the doctor, both are caring and really seem to have my well being in mind and not just another payment from an insurance company. The front office is top notch and on their game. I lost my mom to covid in 2001 but this team and GOD all mighty has brought some light.

About the video appt w the doctor reviewed here, you can also make an appt to see her in person at her office by trussville. Ive seen 2 therapist here and i love them and the doctor! They actually try to help and arent there to just listen! They also listen to your opinion/suggestions rather than try to just throw meds at u. Everyone is so nice! Including the nurse! Easy to get appointments! The best place by far that I've been to! At least give them a try!!

Always very friendly and helpful. We never feel rushed or have problems scheduling appointments. We have a great counselor and they are of great help for my granddaughter.

I when I started at Calhoun county treatments center it changed my life !!!!! I had been addicted to pain pills for about 15 years give a couple of years I would stop then start back really horrible cycles !!! I have been clean since 3008 Awesome counselors ❤️ Great program if you work lit awesome nurses ❤️ And can’t forget the window secretary’s ❤️ I took off and haven’t looked back ❤️I’m stronger than I ever thought I could be and it has changed my life in so many ways ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The Lovelady Center is awesome! I have learned to love my self again, how to love other and most importantly how to love God again. I definitely recommend this place to anyone struggling with any kind of trauma or addiction. I thank God every day for allowing me to come here and for all my new friends I've met along the way. This place truly is a life saver for me.

My daughter is brand new. They truly care. Devoted to proper education, therapy and so many resources available. There should be one in every county in the state

The Lovelady Center people call it a rehab....but it's far from a rehab this almost 600 ladies and their children firm foundation it's our home ...it's a discipleship program that is all about Jesus that teaches u who Jesus is what he's about and because of those teachings the ones that came in because of drugs choose to be rehabilitated from them they choose too and the ones that came because they were homeless are transitioned into stable grounds and back on their feet this place is not even a definition of a rehab they help u to stand firm on the word of the Bible and that u have that choice this place is full of second and third and fourth chances chances on a firm foundation full of love family and support that most have never had or even knew existed....thank u Lord for this place thank you for these strong women who had the courage to say let's try this one more time

The VA Bessemer Clinic staff is always efficient and respectful to my Father and we as his children. Dr. Cooley takes the time to listen from the heart and provide valuable feedback.

We relocated from another state and Bessemer VA was quick to schedule appointment for my husband as well as insure additional appointments were arranged for additional specialty clinics. We were very impressed with the provider as well as the staff. We appreciated their efficiency as well as their caring attitudes. Made this part of our relocation a relief. Additionally, every clinic we have encountered between Bessemer and Birmingham has been very positive, professional, and efficient!

Impact Recovery was a great experience. This disease can make one feel alone and hopeless. In this place I felt welcome and embraced by the staff and other residents that share in this disease. They teach you not only to live a sober life but much more about a different way of life that is fulfilling and free. I can’t say enough about the staff”s authenticity and genuine care and understanding of someone going through and battling this illness. It comes from their own life experiences that are relatable to our own, as they all have battled this disease and live to share and help others achieve the same.

I honestly can’t thank Impact and their entire staff enough! I had no clue what to expect with them being my very first treatment center. I’ve never worked the Steps before and truly believed that I was just meant to live the same miserable life that I’ve been living until my death. They showed me that was far from the truth. I can proudly attest to that with today being 90 days sober! This is the longest I’ve been 100% off anything mind-altering since I was 14 years old. From my very first call with the owner Adams to my last day of the 35 day program, everyone treated me with so much kindness and patience. They teach you everything you need to know in order to live a happy and healthy life without drugs/alcohol, you just have to be willing to not only learn what they teach but also put it all into practice in real life. Wherever below rock bottom is, I was there for sure before Impact. Adams, Chad, Shaun, Colby, Schwartz, Dikis, Taner, Moody, Sam, Kathleen, and Emily, you are all a Godsend and I thank you for honestly saving my life. Very nice and understanding people that care

Nurses/dosing staff: 5/5 Receptionist: 5/5 Dr. Archibald: 2/5 Counselors: 2/5 Cleanliness: 3/5 Safety: 4/5 Parking Lot: 3/5 Nurses/front desk/dosing staff are great, really sweet people who treat you like you're human. I love that THEY OFFER GRANTS that cover all or most of your treatment. Focus is definitely not on counseling here, and your experience can vary pretty widely depending on who you get. I'm currently on a by-the-book stickler counselor, but they never last long so hopefully my next one will be better. I think I've had 5+ counselors I've gone through in less than a year because they come and go so quickly. Dr. Archibald tends to be less than sympathetic to addicts. I'm not sure why people like that work in these places but I guess maybe they start wanting to help then get jaded. One good thing about him though is that he'll prescribe narcotics like Xanax and Adderall on top of the Methadone if you play your cards right.

I learned those are people who are there to help you and they are actually very serious about health and recovery. Now I am a happy, functioning, productive member of society. Counselors knew where to take me and were non-judgemental. Everyone acts as if you are the only client because they give you their full attention (and there is a lot of people coming really)
