Bianca was very professional and worked diligently on my claim. This year I received support with supplemental claims from Ms. Bianca Ransome at the CT Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA). I had spent a lot of time getting discouraged and feeling defeated as I attempted to navigate the process myself. However, after reviewing my documents Ms. Ransome was able to identify missed information from within my medical records and helped me resubmit my claims. I appreciated the support during a time when I was facing extreme frustration with the system, and the assistance received from CT DVA in helping me get past the frustration to properly submit these claims.

The Hospital which saved my child and family. We were so relieved to have our daughter be brought here after her miserable stay in the small room without any window at CCMC. Natchaug Hospital staff have such great affection for what they do. They are compassionate with patients which make relatives happy and rest assured that their family member is in safe hands. From the doctors, therapist, nurses and patient care assistants are all very respectful. I really admired the staff for their excellent work they do everyday. We had the opportunity to speak with our child whenever we wanted. I didn’t hear anyone disrespecting a child or belittling anyone. I was able to call anytime and speak to him he was able to call home as often as he needed!! The doctors nurses and mental health workers were AMAZING!!!! I was impressed with how well trained they are with working with people that are having a hard time! They were very patient with my son, and kept me very informed with exactly every thing going on with him! The Pscyh doctors know there stuff!! You are great hands here, trust the process! even my son felt he received the best care! We thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

I have recently attended the PHP program in Glastonbury with great success. The support you get from the providers and staff is phenomenal. The groups are relevant to what is going on and how to stay sober. You feel seen and heard by both the staff and the clients who are there with you. It is a non-judgement zone so you can truly be yourself, learn from others and work on your sobriety journey. Whether this is your first or tenth time, you are always treated with respect. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Christina Lentine. She came into our lives when my 32 year old pregnant daughter was struggling with addiction and felt lost. It was later in the day when I reached out for help, but without any hesitation, Christina answered the call and told me she was going to be there. True to her word, she showed up with compassion, kindness, and hope. Christina came with a recovery journey chart that immediately built trust with my daughter. She took the time to sit down with her, create a personalized recovery plan, and show her that recovery was possible. From the very beginning, Christina treated my daughter with respect and dignity. She never once made her feel judged. For the first time in a long time, my daughter became genuinely interested in her recovery and wanted to participate in the REACH Program because Christina believed in her. Her kindness, patience, and dedication have made a lasting impact on our family. We need more people like Christina in this field. Thank you, Christina, from the bottom of my heart for giving my daughter encouragement, support, and a reason to believe in herself again. You are truly making a difference in people’s lives. Christina please know that Pamela is grateful for you and so are we.

This facility is usually mandated by court order in most cases clients are involuntarily participating in a program that will help them with their Mental Health issues with anger and any substance abuse if applicable. I would like to say due to the new Fresh Faces and Lively Souls mcaa is making a comeback. I highly recommended and the administration is top tier. Even though this establishment has been in this community for many years the percentage of Rehabilitation is tremendously low throughout the community of Waterbury and Statewide. Thus we are referring to less than 10% of clients actually have success rates. However hope should not be given up and MCCA should be given another opportunity because they are trying their best to make a dreadful experience into a positive one. Shout outs to the director and Jackie who has been at the establishment for over three decades.

I was a patient there and Dr. Ong was absolutely amazing. She went well above and beyond by making sure I was placed in the Polytrauma Care Team. Dr. Ong made sure I had all my meds, when I needed someone to talk to I went to her and she listened to me and offered her insight. Dr. Ong was the best Primary Care doctor I ever had and her and nurse Mike made sure I had all my updated vaccinations. Nurse Mike made me feel welcome and very approachable, we talked about sports, about hobbies, and he was one of the nicest people I have ever met. I was a patient there from June 2024 until November 2025. I relocated but I wished I did not and now I regret it I may go back to Waterbury just so Dr. Ong, Nurse Mike, and The Polytrauma Care Team can handle all of my care. Because at the Waterbury primary care clinic and at the West Haven VA I feel that I received the best care for my Neurological, TBI, Cognitive Function, Mental Health, and, Occupational Therapy needs.

IOL has been there for me when I was at rock bottom. My first time there in December 2023 was ok, the staff was kind except for one tech from the adult unit... When I went back last December, I ended up staying for Christmas, and the staff did their best to make us happy with gifts, games, etc. I stayed for almost a month and started becoming myself again with help from my favourite tech and my favorite nurses. This was the first place that actually treated me like a human being while being in a psych facility. Most of the staff were still there from the first time and they had a better understanding with what was going on. I was so happy they remembered what had helped me last time.

I think it is a good place compared to some I have been in. All the A.P.R.N.'s and Dr"s are helpful and polite. I am on FMLA and they fill out my certification papers every 6 months. I have never had an issue with the ladies at the check in desks. They are good for medication management. I don't do therapy.
