I've been called to come get my son twice bc he was having behavioral issues and intereupting the class....well he is there due to behavioral issues and trying to get him some help and stabilized on the right meds so why am I being called? They are transitioning to a new location so alot of changes and apparent non consistentcy which doesn't help. Staff are not focused on the children bc they have to deal with the move. His therapist just called me last week after about 4 weeks in the program to tell me she would be leaving. Nothing before then was done in regards to keeping me informed about what skills they were working on so that I could reinforce them at home. I asked for resources to be sent home and nothing was sent. My sons medication was increased and I see a slight improvement but not enough to get him back in school without having the same issues that got him there in the first place. I inquired about in patient treatment and said his behavior right now doesn't qualify him. It's so frustrating to see your child struggling and then the professionals that are getting paid and have the experience basically just provide daycare and we are back at square one. It's sad.

If I could give zero stars, I would. The most helpful thing they offered was transportation help. I had to fight for family involvement, I had to beg for information about my very much minor child, the doctor never even tried to look at his med protocol or adjust it until I asked why he wasn't trying that to help. On top of that I found out they basically watched movies and the staff played extremely inappropriate music that is scientifically proven to aggravate certain mental health issues. I will never recommend this place to anyone. I cannot believe that a place that is supposed to help children only did everything they could do to make sure nothing helped. AND THEN BLAME THE PARENTS FOR THE PROBLEMS. Despite doing everything we can to help. It was the worst experience as far as advocating for my kid.

As a medical professional, I must say that this is one of the better places to go for psychiatric needs. The staff for the most part is amazing. One bad apple can ruin the whole bunch unfortunately. Management is great and things are addressed promptly. I know they recently got a few new safety and security features and there has been talk of revamping the building. Patient safety and quality care comes first.

I’ve been in several IP facilities from Tyler, TX to Webster Groves, MO, & this was the best staff I have ever had.
The techs were caring, & would listen. They’d have casual conversations when times were slow! Nesha, Mimi, Rachel (who was also a great nurse), & above ALL else Breunna seemed to really care about us. There’s more than just them, too!
The nurses actually seemed to want to better us. Melinda was very educated & taught me something about myself. The newest nurse, Kimberly, was tremendous!
Believe or not… the food was actually really yummy!
More protein & fibre/veg would be great, but I get it. A medium-sized tasty is better than an XL nasty.
My biggest gripes:
- Dr. Bella
He’s apparently infamous around the facility 👀🫠
As someone who has been seeing every specialist under the sun… this man is a menace lol. Absolutely the rudest doctor I’ve ever encountered.
An actual conversation on my second day:
Bella: are you depressed?
Me: believe it or not, no! I love my life, my family, & my job. I do get overwhelmed, but I’m never really depressed in like, a decade!! :)
Bella: so I’m going to put you on something for depression.
Me: ok… but respectfully, may I ask why?
Bella: because you’re depressed.
Me: …I don’t want to be obstinate but I’m… really not depressed. Anxious? Tightly-wound? High-strung? Yes, haha!! :D But I love my life & I don’t want to be on antidepressants!
Bella: well, you’re depressed. Have you ever been on Zoloft?
Me: oh, gosh, yes.. I’ve been on all the anti-depressants & more & Zoloft is the worst!
Bella: what about lexapro?
Me: yes, sir. & Effexor, & prozac, & lexapro, & even lamictal, paxil—
Bella: have you taken Wellbutrin?
Me: yes, sir. The last psych meds I was on was actually Prozac & Wellbutrin for—
Bella: have you been on remeron?
Me: no, sir??
Bella: *talking to nurse* start her on xx milligrams of remeron…
Me: & what is this for again?
Bella: depression.
Me: ………ok. I mean, I don’t want to come across as unwilling to cooperate..
Bella: *suddenly & awkwardly ends session*
You’re scared to have a real conversation with anyone, ESPECIALLY the doctor who has your fate in his hands.
But…
The med worked! Ha!
HOWEVER! When it was day 5 of my stay, I asked when a possible date might be for my discharge. He told me he would “talk to my social worker”.
Who’s that? I know everyone… who’s this mysterious social worker??
The next day, I met with him. “All’s well!” I exclaimed. As i
I had been reporting. “I’m wondering if leaving this evening instead of tomorrow morning [which would be day 8] would be possible?”
To which he answered: “let me talk with your social worker & see.”
What?! Again?!!
Lo & behold, my “social worker” was anyone who doesn’t have their MD. Therapists, mostly. He, alone, had the power to discharge me.
Not a fan of adults who lie. Yikes. Grow up.
In short: he’s a doctor who prescribed me a med that worked after I told him “no” to like 6 other pills, he didn’t listen when I told him “I’m not depressed”, & it appears he’s not willing to accept accountability when a patient asks a direct question.
1/10 do not recommend
NEXT GRIPE:
- You do nothing there.
If you’re lucky, you watch 4 movies in a day.
Day 4, someone deigned to leave a deck of cards for us (since there are no books, pens, or notebooks in the unit, I was shocked but excited!!)
So… I played solitaire about 2-4 hours a day.
Yay!
Finally something other than lying down or watching random movies.
(In all fairness, I watched a few great ones!)
I have been to facilities where— at minimum— there is group therapy a couple times a week. Unfortunately, we basically had a therapist on a Saturday telling us how we need to “start with you” to “be more organised” (I think? I don’t remember).
______
But…
I’ve paid too many thousands of dollars for treatment that clearly didn’t work for my mental health in the past.
However… I weirdly enjoyed this.
Thank you, staff.
I saw the craziest stuff & the most mentally unwell people of my life in the last 8 days.
But I wouldn’t have done it anywhere else.

Hands down the best Methadone clinic I’ve ever been to. I move frequently for work and its always a hassle to start up at a new place. I’ve been here a couple months now and things going great.
My counselor is supportive and very real. The head nurse is super kind and sweet. The girl who runs the lobby is actually friendly (which never ever happens at a Methadone clinic). The guy who runs the place seems like he actually cares. The Asian doctor is smart about Methadone but it doesn’t come off in an arrogant way like most doctors.
Recommend this clinic to anyone struggling with pills or heroin right now.

Symetria of Lewisville made a life-changing difference not just for my girlfriend, who was a patient there, but also for me as I supported her through treatment. The care and support provided by the team were unlike anything I’ve seen at other facilities. They treat you like a whole person, not just a diagnosis or a problem to be solved.
The staff is genuinely compassionate, attentive, and easy to talk to. Conversations often went beyond just treatment — they cared about what motivated us, what we enjoyed, and who we were outside of our struggles. One staff member even introduced me to the movie Challengers with Zendaya, which, surprisingly, became a personal turning point. That film gave me something to connect with — a reason to believe in the possibility of rebuilding myself — and that connection helped drive my own journey to sobriety.
What sets Symetria apart is that treatment isn’t one-size-fits-all. Whether you need a short-term plan or long-term support, they work with you at your pace. They were there for us like the tennis players were there for Zendaya’s character in Challengers — determined, focused, and unwavering in their support.
Thanks to Symetria, I finished this chapter of my life clean and healthy, and I have real hope for the future. If you or someone you love is struggling, this place offers more than treatment — it offers a path back to yourself.

I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you. When I came here fresh out of rehab, I was in a rough spot, and honestly, I didn’t know if I’d ever pull myself together. But you all took me in, gave me a place to get my head straight, and most importantly, you never gave up on me—even when I wasn’t making it easy.
You guys stuck by me through everything, and because of that, I’ve been able to grow into someone I never thought I could be. I’ve learned so much here, not just about staying sober but about being a better person—someone who’s responsible, who thinks before he acts, and who actually wants to build a real future. That means more than I can put into words.
The staff here is seriously amazing. Mike Jones, Michael Fowler, Frankie Gomez, Bryce Hand, Joshua Stoddard, and Brooke Keels—you guys are the backbone of this place. Each of you brings something different to the table, and together, you create a space where people like me get a real chance at a new life. You’re patient, you understand what we’re going through, and you actually care—which isn’t something you find everywhere.
This place saved my life. That’s not an exaggeration. I wouldn’t be where I am without the support, guidance, and second chances I got here. I’ll always be grateful for that.
Thank you for everything.

The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Arkansas vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
