I moved to Polk County, AR. about one year ago! I came here from another state, which I won't mention! I have been a patient at Veterans Affairs for about 20 years, and I have been to several VA clinics and hospitals. Without a doubt, the Mena VA Clinic is the best VA clinic I have ever been to!! Every, single, person I have met at this clinic has gone over and beyond to welcome me as a new patient, and I am grateful for your kindness and professionalism!! This is one of the worst places you can go if you are seeking help from addiction. The intake lady was nice but that was it. The facility they send you in Holiday Island is kinda sketchy. I never once saw a medical professional, yet some doctor I never met prescribed me drugs to "help" me through the first couple of days of detox. I was not monitored, I just curled up in a bed and slept. Every once once in a while someone would show up and tell me to take these pills. The food was horrible and the building is run down. The night staff was absolutely downright evil and mean. These folks do not care about their patients...they care about the money. This is a low class place and I would avoid it unless it is your last resort

We now have a hospital we can be proud of! I was admitted, diagnosed and treated. I'd been to Paris before, but they said I was fine. Paris has shitty equipment. MMH, though, has new equipment and the attitude of improving life! I was very impressed. No one has been able to tell me, until MMH last night, what was wrong with me. I have pulmonary fibrosis. You can now safely go to our fantastic hospital!! Thank you MMH!!

I’ll be honest and say that some things I’ve heard lately about the facility weren’t good, but that just goes to show that you can’t believe everything that you hear. I had some of the best care while in there recently. Every person that I interacted with was great. Now that I’m home I wish they could have come with me haha. I am giving a 5 star review. My husband James was in need of a Texas address as we live out of the great state of Texas. I called at least 10 to 15 other places, private and state run halfway house facilities. Some facilities wanted a high dollar amount of money to stay there. Some would not even call me back. I called Restoration of Hope after reading reviews and I spoke with Bryan. Bryan gave me information and hope that my husband would be in a safe faith based environment. My husband completed his application and was accepted in a very timely manner. While there my husband stayed sober and followed his parole instructions. He received a bed, clothes, shoes. The best part of his stay was he was fed the word of God. His faith grew stronger and his relationship with our savior Jesus Christ grew stronger. I recommend that if any man wanting to break the chains of addiction and incarceration and grow a strong relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Restoration of Hope is the place to go.. we are so grateful for my husband’s stay at Restoration of Hope and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Update 2: The dental clinic prices are high for a simple cleaning at a supposedly discounted rate. I found anorher clinic in Longview that was $40 cheaper for the first visit and future visits were also cheaper, plus you don't have to wait for months. Update: The clinic is still a good clinic, but the current doctor is not patient-friendly and will cut you off if you try to say anything. My daughter and my neighbor will no longer go there for this reason. He may be a good doctor but patients want to know they're being heard. First review: Easy appointment scheduling and wait time is minimal. I've used this clinic several years and definitely recommend it. Much better than having to travel out of town.

I absolutely love Dr. Dalai. He has put the time & work in no matter what road blocks we hit. I’ve fought many demons that he has helped me understand. I couldn’t have done it without him and his amazing staff.. shoutout to Bri and all the other nurses who put up with my horrible anxiety. They all pitch in to help, I’ve even had the wonderful chance to meet the officer manager who isn’t afraid to jump in there and help with patients. I look forward to my visits every time and that says a lot about someone who doesn’t like to leave the house. All I can say is thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of the staff.

I’ve worked in juvenile treatment/mental health services for over 20 years in Arkansas and Texas. . I chose the Guidance center for my own family’s mental health needs. I’ve worked at the acute mental health hospital in Fort Smith, numerous DHS facilities in Arkansas, I’ve been a parole officer, and I’ve worked collaboratively with patients that were also attending the Guidance center. When the need for mental health services came up in my personal life, The Guidance Center was the only place I was taking my child to. Provider S. Posey has been and is amazing with youth. Everyone, from the two very nice ladies at the front desk to therapist and providers I’ve engaged with, have all been amazing. Thank you all for making a difference.

I have always had great service but this morning going in at 4 o’clock in the morning for mild hives. They were so understanding and they got right on it. I wasn’t in there no longer than 30 minutes.
