My wife and I are from Texas. We were visiting Oklahoma on vacation when my wife became ill. I drove her to McCurtain Memorial Hospital. We received the most attentive care from the friendliest staff I could have hoped for. They were genuinely kind and considerate. The hospital was clean and modern in appearance. The chaplain stopped in and prayed with us. I am truly grateful for the authentic care and compassion of this ER Team.

I have recently spent 2 different stays 1 for 5 days and 1 for 15 days everyone was so professional and checked on me hour and came every 4 hours for treatment on both stays the only reason for 4 stars and not 5 stars is the construction and some of the floors were a little dirty and I understand the hospital has to continue to operate with the construction now the rooms were clean just the noise and construction areas , and the hot water was a little funny .

I lived there for 2 years!! It was the only place I never ran away from( I was AWOL risk since I was 13 I was 16 when I was there) graduated high school. I love Mr. Reggie and ms. Pam!! It was one of the only group homes I'd ever go back to!! I got kicked out for using drugs. I spent three days at this beautiful spiritual center, and it was truly rejuvenating. The atmosphere was so peaceful and relaxing, and the food was absolutely amazing — nourishing in every sense. I had the chance to attend their “Finding Your Purpose” workshop and join a few yoga classes, all of which were deeply enjoyable and enlightening.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to take a break from their busy life, reconnect with themselves, and listen to their inner voice. A truly special experience.

This place is extremely unprofessional and the employees here are very rude and not helpful at all. Lighthouse was way better at helping people with mental disabilities as well as helping their families cope with helping their loved ones and these people clearly don’t care nor have respect for the family member taking care of their lives one with a disability. This place has given me the run around about my brother on multiple occasions n how is is right for me to be kept from my brothers medical stuff especially when I’m on all his paperwork n have to have his permission is diabolical considering he has the mind frame if a child. These people tried to act like they did t know him n like he’s never been there before u til I had to put down my phone n show up in person n to get answers. They should shut this place down u til they can find better people with better mind frames n a decent heart n whom carry themselves in a more professional manner. This is one reason I refuse to get help for my bipolar disorder with these people cuz it’s a waste of time n money. They don’t care about u nor ur family member n dont even have the decency to call me n let me know they shipped my brother off to a mental institution without telling me a damn thing. Oklahoma is proving to be the worst state I’ve ever lived in when it comes to anything medical much less anything else. Not only that but these people have taken me off my brothers paperwork a couple of times without my knowledge or permission. Really make it extremely difficult to help take care of ur loves one. I’m absolutely disgusted in this shameful place. Do better!

I recently had the privilege of having my 16-year-old daughter, meet with therapist Dakota Torres at Lena Pope at their Weatherford location for the first time, and I am truly impressed by the positive impact Dakota had on my daughter during their initial session.

Dakota's ability to connect with my daughter and create a safe and supportive environment allowed her to open up and share her thoughts and feelings in a way that she hadn't been able to with previous therapists. Even before the appointment, my daughter expressed her reluctance to engage with anyone and her resistance to being there. However, after meeting with Dakota, my daughter shared that she really liked her, which speaks volumes about Dakota's approachability and effectiveness as a therapist.
Having previously sought therapy for my daughter with six different therapists, I can confidently say that Dakota's session was the first time I felt genuinely positive about the future of my daughter's therapy journey. Dakota's empathetic approach, coupled with her ability to quickly establish trust and rapport, fills me with hope and optimism for her progress in her sessions with Dakota.

Basepoint has been everything we needed and I wish I found them sooner! I was scared to call and not be able to afford a stellar program for my kid - but they offered a payment plan that fit my budget and removed that hurdle for me quickly. Please don’t let fear of cost keep you from making an appointment! the day we had our intake appointment I cried happy tears knowing my child was finally somewhere GOOD! They even offer transportation to and from the program which is so helpful! Que is the best driver around! The staff has an amazing way of connecting, getting on their level and truly mapping out their success WITH them and not just FOR them. My child felt very hands on with her healing which made a huge impact. They listened to my concerns and observations at home and helped build a real village for me as we went through this. Courtney was my child’s counselor and we wish we could keep her forever! So many breakthroughs and advances in mindset were achieved by how she conducts her connections. Marleny made handling our ISD so smooth; both she and Courtney helped fight for things we needed upon her return to school. Miss Kim the program specialist always made her look forward to coming in person. Crystal at the front desk was always welcoming, helpful and has the lobby smelling like a 5 star resort! We are sad to leave our new found village but are grateful for where life is headed with bigger dreams, bigger tools and better familial communication than when we enrolled. Healing isn’t linear and everyone’s journey will be different - but I promise this program will make an incredible change for both you and your child if you give them the opportunity. Basepoint Breakthrough has been exactly what I needed. The staff here is so kind, and their focus is always on what is best for you and your specific journey. They work hard to provide the upmost care that best fits your needs. I was so impressed at the communication and dedication at Basepoint as well. I was never left out of the loop of my care. Devan is the best therapist I have had, and she worked with me on healthy coping skills and how to reframe my thinking. I will always be so grateful for Basepoint. They took great care of me for a hernia surgery. The nurses and doctors all were very personable and professional, and I and my family felt genuinely cared for. The VA has such a bad reputation that I was a little nervous but those fears, for this location at least, seem to be entirely unfounded.

I will start this review off by giving some information about myself so you can actually get something out of this review and hopefully it will help someone else get their life back on track.
I travel 46 weeks out of the year, sometimes my company has to fly me home for a day so I can make an appearance at my home clinic to stay compliant, so I have been to Methadone Clinics all across the United States as a Guest Dose Patient. I can honestly say New Season is one of the good ones. The lady who works up front is super nice And has been nothing but helpful to me. I believe it is $15 a day to pay for your methadone and If you want to go the Suboxone Route they also offer that as well ( I dont remember the cost per day but it is slightly higher than the methadone ) they only serve the liquid methadone ( cherry ) IF you are guest dosing there is a $25 charge, but you only have to pay that once a year.
BUT what makes New Season Treatment a good to great clinic in my eyes, is no matter what person you deal with it is always with respect and they seem to actually care about the people they serve . From the Doctor to the Nurse to the Counselors dont have anything bad to say about any of them. I was in quite a predicament at one point in my recovery And I actually was a full time client with New Season and I ended 2 weeks later having to move to Houston And they never treated me differently or made a fuss about the situation just helped me get the transfer to Houston. I would WAY rather have stayed with New Season than my current Home clinic if I'm being %100 honest...
I can also say I went to other clinics in the DFW Area and I had a horrible experience at another clinic in Dallas and New Season is my go to for the Dallas / Fort Worth Area.

Each of many departments has long wait times. None of the staff seem to realize clients(my friend) require someone(me) to drive the clients to each visit. The drivers have to take time off from their own jobs to assist clients. That is inconsiderate of MHMR toward everyone.
Any other dr office realizes time is valuable. Not MHMR though.

I went here for a few months for help with tapering off of benzos that I had been prescribed for anxiety. I was having a lot of trouble or with withdrawal symptoms and wanted to make sure I was tapering the correct way. I met with Brian a couple times and he was very nice. The only negative I have is he did a drug test on me without disclosing that I would get a bill. Now I have a $180 bill to test for drugs that I was prescribed. It would have been nice if the fact that I would have to pay so much for a drug test was disclosed before taking it, and if I had been given an option to opt out.

I would just like to share my experience about Natural State and the guy Michael who manages the sober living houses. If it was not for him my son would be dead. He told me from the beginning that if my son was willing to go to any lengths to change his life then he would have a chance. I almost enabled my son to his grave by not listening to Michael and taking his suggestions. Today my son has a little over a year sober and is a new person. He also suggested that I go to Alanon meetings which I have been for a year and the relief that I get from these meetings are priceless. My son was making every excuse in the world to me and I was believing him instead of someone who has walked in his shoes. Again thank you Michael and Natural State Recovery.

This is my first VA experience And I was surprisingly impressed! I got Cherry, Tony, and Rebecca as my team and they all seemed genuinely concerned about my issues and made progress with everyone of them. Rebecca even made me aware of an issue I wasn’t aware of and told me about VA court. Also the ladies at the front desk seem efficient and professional.

If I could give zero I would. Daughter was in subacute the therapist was terrible and caused more harm than good. She didn’t take the time to review my daughters very lengthy chart until I pushed the issue then I’m sure she only scanned it. They did one of the most detrimental things they could have done to our family with our daughter’s diagnosis and of course it was unfounded but she would have known the issues from the get go if she would have read the chart. She made family therapy worse by making her own disclosure that totally discounted the point we were trying to make again making it worse. It turned into a them (daughter and therapist vs. family situation instead of a team trying to help our daughter. There was no safety plan worked on just put it all on the family instead of working on it together. Our daughter is 5 months from 18 we as family can’t make her do anything so working on a safety plan on our own was pointless. There was no communication with family on goals or where we felt the big issues were and since she didn’t read the chart she did no good actually working on what could actually help vs. hinder. We won’t ever use them again if needed and I don’t suggest them to anyone.

I sat on the phone for over an hour an still no one picked up, calling in an be #4 in line, first two went by kinda fast but sat on #2 the remaining of the time, they closed before answering my call. Of course. The few times ive called the ppl there been rude, no compassion n careless. I know damn well it didn't take that excessive weight period to take care of 4 calls n left me waiting on caller 2 till they close. This living hope should of been the one that closed not the one on Central. U definitely know by the way ur treated if they care to deal with u or not. I'm not surprised the way they done me, its not first time n more likely now not the last. Ive never been rude or rude to these ppl, but the way they do me when trying to reach anyone is unprofessional n uncalled for. Now being on the phone over an hour an still on 2 in line...how does a business like this in the profession of customer care yet treat one so poorly. Very unsatisfied with the service I get from this location.

I absolutely love Dr. Dalai. He has put the time & work in no matter what road blocks we hit. I’ve fought many demons that he has helped me understand. I couldn’t have done it without him and his amazing staff.. shoutout to Bri and all the other nurses who put up with my horrible anxiety. They all pitch in to help, I’ve even had to wonderful chance to meet the officer manager who isn’t afraid to jump in there and help with patients. I look forward to my visits every time and that says a lot about someone who doesn’t like to leave the house. All I can say is thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of the staff.
