It doesn't matter what your past was like the only person that can change your future is you honestly I know I'm not perfect neither is the person standing next to you everyone makes mistake mine have made me wiser and pain has made me stronger there's going to come a point in your life that you are going to have to face your past and except the fact that you can not do anything about it but you can make a choice about your future the only person that can change is you and I believe that recovery is possible I did recover I'm 30 yrs old now I have 3 more years until my land is payed for I'm a certified mechanic and certified x-ray welder no matter where you are in life you always have the chance to start over again the only person that can do that is you. The hospital was clean and private. The ER doctor (Dr Schmidt) gathered the information and developed a plan with us. He had the knowledge, experience, and compassion. The ER nurse Kirza and triage nurse Brian were friendly and intelligent. We even received a follow up call a few days later. Without Ashley Walker, APRN, I wouldn't be where I am in my health journey. I greatly appreciate all she & Cheyenne have done for me over the years. Referrals within BRMC have not been an issue to arrange as well as to other facilities in & out of state. If timing has been a factor it has been from the receiving facility & not on this clinic's end. Appointments with Ashley are made as quickly as possible & more often than not I can be seen on day I call as long as there is availability. Recommend to call early for same day appt. I've used Ashley for my child since a newborn & plan to continue to do so. We go to health dept for immunizations but Ashley takes care of everything else. If you don't know them then ask the front desk for a copy. I like it here. Praise Jesus. That's the God that made you. If you don't try at changing or make an attempt to you won't grow and you have to want it. It's your own fault if you don't succeed here. The staff is so supportive and someone is available 24/7. You get 3 counseling sessions a week and have a variety of daily activities such as yoga and massage. The house is extremely comfortable, chef prepared meals 3 times a day, with a heated pool and hot tub. If you are looking for a place to heal and get well this is where you need to be. Everybody was cool and knowledgeable especially Tommy and Dylan my only problem was the detox center lost some of my belongings and made no effort to find them or reimburse me for my loss. Other than that it was great. I would like to add the Wes was the house manager of the sober living place I stayed at he was awesome. Super supportive and understanding. He made me feel at home and always had an open ear or a shoulder to cry on. He's nonjudgmental and forgiving. As a mom of a 16-year-old struggling with substance use and mental health, I had done the research, read the books, and tried the therapy—but Capstone brought something different that we truly needed. I truly believe God led me to this place, and He continues to guide our journey every step of the way. The counseling process is exceptional. Our counselor, Matthew, has been both professional and deeply personal in the way he supports our family. My son connected with him in a way that isn’t easy for teenage boys, and that relationship has made a lasting impact that continues into aftercare. Family Week was one of the most powerful experiences I’ve had as a parent. It gave my son a voice and gave me insight into myself that I had never seen before—even after years of therapy. It completely changed how I show up for him. I was also struck by Adrian Hickmon’s leadership and presence. From the moment I walked in and he knew my name and my son, I felt seen. The wisdom he shared—and the time he personally took to answer my questions—was unlike anything I’ve encountered elsewhere. His perspective on focusing on small, steady progress has stayed with me and continues to guide how I support my son. For the first time in years, I see real hope. We are communicating better, growing closer, and moving in the right direction. This journey is far from over, but I trust that God is continuing to work in my son’s life. The level of excellence, from the therapists to the support staff, is second to none. Be advised, they do not mess around. The commitment level they require from the family is high, and for good reason. I've never experienced "tough love" like they put forth. Got set up on Suboxone. Unfortunately I ended up getting fired before I could finish the treatment and had to get off it all by myself. And I was on 24 mg a day three pills. I wish I'd have been on 2 mg a day. When I tried winning it down myself I realized 2 mg a day was keeping the problems away if you know what I mean. But it does work! Your poop's going to be pretty loose for a long time if you were on opiates but Imodium will help LOL anyways don't give up people!
