I ended up here because of my PCP. Normally I just got to the Brigham ,but my mom can't handle all the traffic. The ER wait was short. I was admitted but it took about 6-8 hours because of all the tests. The day Dr was amazing,nurse were exceptional, especially Adam!. Transportation was above Par standards. Thank you JAREL! He made me feel safe and secure. I'm still here and that's ok. Only complaint,the food. Not the best. Blah!!

The care @ this hospital has always been excellent in all the years I've been going to the West Roxbury VA. In my last visit my wife was with me and she was having trouble with her legs I just want to thank the 2 separate nurses that noticed my wife's struggles within 5 and asked her if she needed help, before I found a wheel chair for her...thank you. To the fool who rated this VA hospital 2 stars based off his/ her experience in the cafeteria..go to a restaurant if you want good food. Because today you'll be minus $50 or more and still probably won't be happy with the food...get real, this is a hospital!

Visiting from Dallas-Fort Worth area. Needed emergency care for one leg. While the facility is aged and, I’m sure, always in need of service, they seem to keep up with that pretty well. Clinical care was too notch, informed, appropriate, and highest quality. As a Vet, I felt wonderfully talented care of.

I brought my son here for a tumor in his knee, I’d like to thank Dr Shake and every nurse in interventional radiology , every step of the way we felt cared for , they were super compassionate, also in the recovery room his nurse was very caring and compassionate also.making sure he was comfortable with snacks and drinks and vitals were good. Bring your license or ID to register for your relatives surgery or appointment, all adults have to show ID ! Head to" bridge/main lobby" sign-in there for all appointments, they will give you directions to your destination.
Also the Longwood Galleria mall food courts is just a few minute walk from hospital.
Cvs also in the LW galleria mall.
We also has a 2pm surgery delayed till 4ish. But what can you do, better than be rescheduled, surgery went well. So its a sacrifice and im good with that!
Dont forget to get your parking ticket validated when you check in to the hospital(we only paid 15$ for like 6hrs

I've been coming here for years and my experience has been nothing short of excellent! I was born with a rare genetic disorder and I've experienced pain for as long as I can remember. To keep this simple/straight to the point, it was a lot to deal with at a young age. You'd think that a hospital was the last place I'd want to visit, but that couldn't have been further from the truth. A handful of my fondest childhood memories actually come from the CAT/CR center and the wonderful group of people working there. My appointments felt less like appointments and more like one day vacations! I looked forward to my visits because I could see my friends again, have an endless stack of drawing paper, and have three hours of the best comfort. The staff members felt like close friends who genuinely cared for not just me, but for my Mom as well. I'll never forget this one woman who immediately took notice of my Mom not feeling well, checked her out, and found a bullseye rash from a deertick. If it hadn't been for that nurse, my Mom's lyme disease could've been much worse. I could go on and on about BCH but overall, this hospital is made up of the most caring, down to earth, and experienced people you will ever meet. And I will never not be thankful for them ❤️

I was able to get into the original hope house in the south end over 20 years ago through a friend Alex and Brian Tullos who i just recently found out is amazingly still helping people at the hope house to this day. I may not have known it at the time but I realize now that the Hope House and Brian helped lay down the groundwork for me to get off heroin which was the hardest thing I ever had to do in my entire life. Things are far from perfect my health is bad I still need to take care of some things in my life but I am so grateful to not have to die with a needle in my arm today. It's an amazing house with great staff and food the atmosphere is out of this world and that helps SO much with recovery. Not one staff member can I say anything bad about and that is absolutely unheard of!!! Love that program, they really take the time to screen clients before entry and the groups are ran in a personalized way to try and help each individual with the different needs they need to be met. 10 out of 5 stars!!!

The Headstart program here, according to my mother, changed her life. She told me two weeks ago about how a social worker once arrived in her apartment and solemnly reported that she felt bad that my mother, a single mother, had to go through raising two difficult young children. But the people at Headstart were patient and took care of me when I was young. I still have fond memories of crying incoherently due to my levels of stress, but then being quietly reassured by the staff. I miss the people here. I will always be tearful when thinking about this place. They did so much for me and my mom. They were the sweetest people on Earth.

The staff was fantastic ,I mean it. Best hospital for behavioral! I mean it. Wrongfully accused but was a great experience besides awful Winchester and Lahey Burlington 🙄. I picked up meds I'm grateful needed em limping bad shopping ohh ouch. And also patients were wonderful. Noone out of control. Wow. Quincy is a city I think I could live in. But that's because they try not to deny treatment to anyone...I give them a five star rating. They've been my friends and family 25 years since the day they opened I transfered from Kenmore sq... I give this place four instead of five stars only because I was only at the inpatient unit for mental health for 6 days. But my stay was really good, fun crafts and lots to do. The good wasn't great but in visits you can have food and you can get an order for outside food as well. One small downside was that it was really hard to get an order for music. I do recommend going here if you can!

It cracked me up reflecting on the day program when in tenuous whether "to take the hook" the group leader told us to be aware of. Arbor Counseling is my favorite behavioral health provider in America in terms of counseling and quality of counselors. I have to continue writing this review when I have more time.
