Everything about this place has been above and beyond! I'm a pretty demanding human being and a bit hard to deal with and with class and grace every single staff member has been wonderful, professional, and done an outstanding job, to make sure my needs and my road to recovery has been meet to the best of their abilities! The classes and the educational aspect of this place is also very informative and helpful... I was impressed with the counselors and how they handle indiscretions between other girls with all the different personalities as well!!! Over all very good company and would recommend 1000%.

Upon hearing of Brazos and this being my first attempt at a professional rehabilitation center, I wasn't sure what to expect but, from the moment I stepped through their doors until my last day of treatment, I have been supprisingly impressed with not only the warm treatment I received but, with the well rounded knowledge I've been given for my after care. This is one of the Best Recovery Centers that I have ever been to. The staff are there with you through it all, whether it be a Residential Assistant or a Nurse or your own Clinician you are never doing it alone. They've Got You all the way through to the end. I had a really bad blow up last day and very loud and disrespectful to all the staff that approached me. I'm really sorry and impressed with the staff because I don't know if could have the same restraint they showed me and my foul mouth.The staff was without a doubt the best I've encountered. I spent time at Skyward Addiction Treatment Center in Sugar Land and it really helped me turn things around. My counselor, Ms. Kimberly Isaac, was amazing — she took the time to actually understand what I was going through and helped me work through a lot of stuff instead of just going through the motions. The nursing staff, Jessica and Brianna, also deserve a shoutout, they were attentive and made sure I was taken care of every step of the way, even when I wasn't the easiest patient to deal with. I would like to personally thank all of the staff at BARC for the amazing support during my Son's recovery. I dropped my Son off back in December of 2025 with the biggest fear in my life of losing my Son to alcohol addiction. From the initial contact over the phone with Billy to the moment we arrived the staff was completely helpful. The staff here truly care about each individual and go above and beyond to help with recovering from addiction. I did not know what to expect because this our first time , and some of the horror stories you hear from other places, I was scared to leave my Son, but they truly made a huge difference in my Son's recovery, he has now made 8 months sober and is the absolute best version of himself. I give all the thanks to God and to the men of BARC. Even after he completed his 60 days they continued to be the biggest support system he needed. I don’t even know where to begin, because “thank you” doesn’t feel big enough for what this place has done for me. I came here at one of the lowest points in my life, unsure of who I was or if I even had a future worth fighting for. I stayed 45 days, and in that time, something in me completely shifted. This wasn’t just about getting sober—it was about learning how to live again. The staff here didn’t treat me like a number or a problem to fix. They treated me like a human being who mattered. Every single person I encountered—from the counselors to the support staff—showed genuine care, patience, and understanding. They met me exactly where I was, even on my hardest days. The program gave me tools I actually use in real life, not just while I was there. More importantly, it helped me reconnect with something deeper—my sense of purpose, my spirituality, and my will to keep going. What really stands out is the support system. Even after completing the program, I don’t feel alone. That sense of community is so strong that I’ve chosen to stay in the area and continue building my life here. Today, I’m 60 days sober. My dad has struggled with drug addiction for 25+ years. He recently had a massive heart attack due to drug use and his situation was becoming dire. We knew if he didn't get help he wasn't going to make it much longer. He finally agreed to get treatment and my sister found this place. He went from not wanting to go to rehab to not wanting to leave this place. He absolutely loved it and loves everyone there. He considers them family.
