I wish these could be done in person so that the reader could know the sincerity of this review..... Gail came to me with my issue...I was suffering severally and not even doctors could diagnose.... she was able to see it in my activities and mindset.... she knew I was suffering before I did. To be able to go to someone and have them evaluate you then have them tell you all the places you are hurting without having to tell them..... that is when you have struck knowledge gold. Gail is gold standard health care...... listen to her... absorb what she is teaching you and you will benefit from it. If I could put up the pictures of the parasites I have coming out of this body...I would endure the embarrassment of it if it meant having another person see how bad these issues are and deciding to correct it in themselves....I would....I now just want to keeo being and doing in this new mindset this therapy is giving me. The people saying this place isn't great are lying. I've been going here for 6 months & the therapist, receptionists, and crisis counselors, psychiatrist are all phenomenal. I haven't ever made as much progress in the 10+ years of therapy with other providers as I have in 6 months with these folks. Very very highly recommend this place.

I've been a fan of Jaywalker Lodge for years, and my respect for what they've built has only grown over time. As a fellow behavioral health professional who has referred clients to Jaywalker and spent time on the ground in Carbondale with their team, I've had a front-row seat to what this program actually produces, and it's the real thing. Let me start with the obvious: the location is extraordinary. Carbondale is one of the most beautiful places in this country, and Jaywalker leverages that setting in a way that actually matters clinically. Their clients aren't just staring at mountains, they're experiencing all that incredible place has to offer (skiing, mountain biking, etc.). That connection to the outdoors isn't a selling point, it's part of how men rediscover what it feels like to be alive. But what makes Jaywalker truly exceptional isn't the scenery, it's the community. Carbondale has embraced this program in a way I've never seen in any other treatment market. You can't walk through town without running into an alumnus who stayed, built a life, found work, and put down roots. I've seen this firsthand - walking those streets, talking with people who came for treatment and never left because they finally had something worth staying for. That kind of living proof is rare and powerful. I've sat with their clinical and leadership team, seen how they operate up close, and walked away more impressed each time. Their communication is exceptional, their collaboration with families is thoughtful, and the sustained recoveries I've seen in referred clients speak for themselves. This is a team that isn't content with where they are, they're always evolving, always raising the bar, and they hold themselves to a standard the rest of the industry should be studying. The leadership operates with genuine integrity. That's not something you can fake long-term, and it's certainly not something you can fake in person. Jaywalker has been proving it for years. I was politically and falsely incarcerated by the VA in 1993 in Hawaii by an "Activist Judge," Richard Komo, because they thought I knew something politically and homosexually blackmailable about my Agent Handler while in enlisted US Army MI service in the mid '70's, CIA Dir. GHWB. This was during the Clinton years, and they were ransacking every CIA, FBI, Army, foreign, ... safe to find anything they could use for their Communist backers. It was all false disinformation left for them to find, and they're paying for that, now. I love watching them now on the spit roasting over hot coals. But in finally succumbing to my failing eyesight and hearing, I went to this local clinic. They have set me up for two cataract removals and hearing aids, and hopefully more. The VA Hospital has to put up with Congress Mandated bureaucracy, such as "Gun-free parking lots" and the like (I have to stay armed because of what my duty was in the service), and there are expectable delays ("Hurry up and wait!"), they also have returned to me the gift of sight, hearing, and being able to communicate with people again. I can't describe what it is like to watch clouds again with depth perception, in color, and beauty. To hear and understand conversations again. Their staff is very helpful, proficient, and knowledgeable, and they DO follow up. Thier naysayers be damned. The Army does take care of it's own.

The Glenwood staff and my doctor were awesome!!!! I have seen so many nasty reviews but my 15 visits in the last 6 months, I have seen only people that are polite, professional and on top of their game. From the front desk to my intake coordinator, I was impressed. Then assigned Dr. Katie Hundertmark couldn't have been more helpful. Felt very lucky! MJ Horn was also great and very knowledgeable. She got some tricky things done for me. Bad news and negative reviews always travels 10 times faster and farther. This is coming from someone that was in medical field for 14 years. The staff truly cares about their patients and provided care that met my needs. The whole program exceeded my expectations and I can't thank everyone enough for the impact they made on my life and mental health. Deciding to seek treatment was not an easy thing for me but I am so glad I chose Footprints to Recovery. It wasn't all just sitting around doing therapy all day and we got the chance to do yoga, art and music therapy, and also go outdoors with Adventure Recovery. If you are considering treatment I highly encourage you to invest in yourself and give Footprints a call!

Footprints was an absolutely stellar facility to go to after completing inpatient addiction treatment. The staff were all very patient and understanding during my biggest ups and downs during treatment, and I never felt any judgement even at my lowest points. Recovery is such a serious rock to carry but the groups and providers helped me collect the tools necessary to be able to tackle this journey on my own. The nursing team was incredibly helpful in finding me medications that are actually helping my mental health and addiction cravings. I've had more success in the three months I got to share with Footprints than the years I've worked with my primary care and therapist. Andrew with case management is hilarious and hugely helpful with resources and managing work and life alongside treatment. Anika is an incredible therapist and I am sad to leave her care, but know she will continue to do amazing things for other clients. If you are struggling with any substance abuse, I highly recommend seeking help with Footprints. They will absolutely get you back on your feet.

I went to the IOP program and had a very uplifting experience. Councilors are top notch. I believe this because I have been a part of other programs and the group settings here are all inclusive where I felt everyone had ample time to express feelings and issues safely. Well run meetings and varied topics. Another wonderful aspect is the on going on line family member meetings where loved ones have great opportunity to share and learn! Also all recovery meetings weekly on line meetings for us as patients/ clients. My own recovery is going well with 70 sober days now giving me a renewed sense of inner peace and joy. God bless.

Peaks will forever hold a place in my heart. If you are looking for help with depression, addiction, alcoholism, trauma, anxiety, body image issues… you name it. This is the place that will not only help you, they will LOVE you through it! From the moment I called, I felt loved and cared for. Angela - You are an Angel! Angela kept in contact with me several times a day until I was on a plane to CO. As soon as I got there, Katie picked me up from the airport, she was a doll! She made me feel so comfortable going in. I met with a few staff members, and stayed in “detox” for 2 days. When I first got to the Women’s house, I met Miss. Pat - She’s the most incredible woman I’ve ever met. I’ll never forget her. EVER. I went in for Trauma and Depression. Within 7-10 days, I could tell my life was changing. I had never felt this good in my life. Chris, Bobbie, and his team hired a staff that is like nothing I would have ever imagined. From the Director (Sara), Doctors, Therapists/Counselors (Kate, Madi, Shayna, Sam), PA’s (Alyson), Gym Instructors (Nicole and Dan), my caseworker, Tyler, the chef, Taylor, and the staff (Miss. Pat, Cassie, Leah, Kayla, Mariano, Julie, and Cheyanne), - They are all AMAZING! Everyone has a heart of gold! Each week in group they discuss a topic. The topics discussed are LIFE CHANGING! There are things in life that you think you know, you don’t. I learned so much in group and I’ll hold onto that info for life. I also met with my Therapist/Counselor Kate, 2-3x a week. I highly recommend Aspen Ridge to anyone who needs help with recovery. I have been in recovery for years, and Aspen Ridge is my favorite facility out there. Unlike many others, Aspens Ridge does NOT force any specific modality on folks, such as AA or NA. Many other rehab facilities are 12 step-based, which I haven’t found to be helpful. Aspend Ridge helps folks find the program that works before for each individual, such as SMART recovery, Dharma Recovery, or 12 steps. The therapists and instructors at Aspen Ridge are also all tremendously helpful and motivated. Highly recommended to anyone in need!
