I’m not going to lie—when I first started this program, I wasn’t exactly thrilled to be here. I was skeptical of the process, unsure of what I’d really get out of it, and honestly thought Kaye came off a little intense or rough around the edges. But as the weeks went on, things started to shift. Participating in the Center for Change DV class has been a powerful and eye-opening experience. I came in with a willingness to look at myself, but I didn’t expect how deep the work would go—or how much I would grow. Through this journey, I’ve gained a much stronger understanding of healthy boundaries, emotional regulation, power dynamics, and the impact of both conscious and unconscious behaviors in relationships. Kaye played a huge role in that transformation. She really grew on me!! Her no-nonsense style and direct approach challenged me in the best ways. At first it was uncomfortable, but I now see how deeply she cares. She doesn’t sugarcoat the truth, and that’s part of what makes her so effective. She helped me confront things I didn’t want to see and encouraged me to take real responsibility for my choices and reactions. I have so much respect for her, and I hope to stay in contact—because people like her, who genuinely care enough to hold you accountable with compassion, are rare and valuable! This class wasn’t just about changing behavior—it was about healing, growing up emotionally, and reclaiming personal power from within. I now recognize how past wounds shaped my responses and relationships, and I’m committed to continuing the work of showing up with integrity, clarity, and self-respect. I’m leaving this program with a deeper sense of self-awareness, compassion, and strength. Staff was excellent in providing me assistance in my treatment and always was welcoming. Tim always was supportive and is a great friend to have during this challenging period. As a military veteran footprints was able to assist in the challenges that military personnel face during their time serving and have served.

When I first came to Peaks, I was broken, depressed, hopeless, and completely lost. I truly didn’t believe things could get better. But my experience at Peaks changed my life in ways I never could’ve imagined. From the moment I arrived, I was surrounded by a community of supportive, caring people who genuinely wanted to see me grow. I built friendships and connections that will last a lifetime, with people who stood by me through every high and low of my recovery journey. The groups and therapists were absolutely incredible, I learned more here than I ever have in any other program. The structure at Peaks helped me build consistency, confidence, and real progress. The staff went above and beyond every single day, they truly cared about us as people, not just clients. Even the food was amazing (shoutout to the chefs, you made every meal feel special!). The activities were another huge part of my healing, basketball, pickleball, volleyball courts right on property, yoga, art supplies, gym equipment, hikes twice a week, church, Recovery Dharma, and so much more. There was always something positive and grounding to be a part of. I am endlessly grateful for my time at Peaks Recovery. This program gave me my life back and gave me the tools, support, and hope I needed to keep moving forward. Thank you to everyone who made my experience so meaningful and life-changing. ❤️

The intake process was very smooth

Caring and experienced staff makes all the difference. Evidenced based curriculum is well thought out. I would highly recommend Palmer Lake Recovery. A huge shoutout to all the BHTs that took care of me and helped when needed. Tim, Dan, Melissa, Karen, Ronnie, and more. Most of the therapists have their own recovery story which lends credibility. Most also deeply cared about our joining and healing. I met amazing staff and incredible people. Overall wonderful experience.

Palmer Lake Recovery was an amazing experience. The curriculum was very helpful and the staff truly cared. Everyone is very nice. I was not sure what to expect but it met all my expectations and then some. I would highly recommend.

The staff here honestly really cares about everyone in their program. The therapist’s were amazing. Excellent housing and accommodations. Could not ask for a better experience, literally saved my life.

This is the best place for whatever you have going on in your life. I am on supervision and use them for my classes, one on ones, and testing. The staff is super nice and helpful. They go above and beyond with extra case management services and even helped with my resume. They will know you by first name and stay in touch when it counts. They have a bunch of online sessions available too if you can’t drive or need to meet with someone remotely. Don’t waste your time anywhere else.

This center is unlike any other. From day one, I felt genuinely cared for on every level — emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. The staff took time to understand me as a whole person, not just my symptoms, and the environment is warm, intimate, and deeply supportive. The nurses and staff are so amazing. They genuinely care about everyone here and will go above and beyond to make you feel more comfortable and less anxious.

Impeccable service through the phone, great therapists, really welcoming! They helped me get the care I needed and supported me with my decision to switch to a more specialized program. Very people oriented! Edit: After going to a different program, I have to knock off a star. I learned more coping skills and about my mental health in 3 days compared to the 2 weeks I was at sandstone. Sandstone is still an excellent place, I think they just need to work on eduction and skills practice!!

This year I celebrated 6 years clean after over a decade of drug use. Whenever I talk about my recovery, Mary, the woman who runs this rehab and sober living will always come into that conversation. I was so scared to go into rehab for the first time and I knew my family was too. I’m so happy I chose New Beginnings. Everything about the place from the classes to the different ways they teach you to get through withdrawals and how to manifest a beautiful life, clean. Her words will forever echo in my heart for the rest of my life. There is something truly special about this place. In July 2025, I started IOP at DWR which was the best decision I ever made. Their staff are supportive and extremely knowledgeable; special shoutout to Rachel, Amanda, and Crystal for all of their endless support! During IOP, I relapsed more than once and was never treated differently because of it. Instead of criticizing my decisions, DWR provided me with the support and safe space to work through my relapses while still holding me accountable. I have now been sober just over one year and even though I am the one who makes the decision to continue my sobriety everyday, I owe DWR for giving me the tools and confidence to do so. Thank you DWR for saving my life when I had almost given up and helping me create a life worth living.

I wasted 7 years of my life going here, trading a heroin addiction for methadone addiction. It's almost impossible to stay clean going here.

I find this to be the most relaxed of 7 clinics I've been to ,both in and put of state...councellors& groups are better too...I kno it'll be possible to get settled off methadone in due time tòo.

My primary therapist at The rose house has the experience necessary to provide an excellent service, the house manager is a genuine, approachable and amazing person who cares so much about the patients during the treatment and after. I can't say enough good things about the efforts that they do to make a difference in our lives. This is a beautiful home with beautiful people who are getting stronger together.

Absolutely enjoy going to Nene's classes. She's very understanding, helps you through your issue and helps you feel better. Would recommend her to anyone who needs some help with substance abuse!
