There are even Buddhist and Indigenous Spiritual paths to recovery introduced at Harmony. Luckily, I live near Harmony and have already been present for one alumni event, but I plan on staying engaged with Harmony in the years ahead. With that said, as with all recovery, you should come to Harmony fully surrendered and never wanting to drink or use again. You cannot get sober for anybody else. Harmony truly will give you back as much as you desire to quit. The facility is amazing! The detoxing was time to spend in quiet reflection and learn to even function around other people again until you are ready for the next level of care. Susan edlund 7 months ago I want to start this review by acknowledging that recovery from mental health issues, trauma and addiction is HARD. There is no one place that will be a good fit for everybody and no place will work until the client wants to change and is ready to do the very difficult work required for healing. We stumbled upon the Rose House when we had almost lost all hope for our 18 year old daughter. She had been in and out of various mental health facilities and rehab facilities but nothing worked. She was an addict but if she checked into a rehab facility the trauma she had experienced caused her to go into a fight or flight response. She acted out verbally and by self harming. Although they would claim to be a dual diagnosis center, they would always call us within a day or so and tell us they didn't have the type of facilities to help her. If we tried to get her residential mental health help we were told there was no such place. She could only be put on a 72 hour hold if she was a danger to herself or others. Our daughter's addiction began when a couple of men lured her into their trafficking scheme. She was 14 and they paid her a lot of attention. In her mind one of them was her boyfriend and she felt flattered that an older man would want her. They started giving her drugs in exchange for sex. Soon she needed the drugs to stop the feeling of guilt and disgust she felt from what was happening to her. When she finally said no to one of them he physically and forcibly raped her. I wish we had understood earlier what was going on. (This man is now serving 97 years in a Colorado prison) We walked into the Rose House and took a tour at her lowest point. She agreed to look at the Rose House but wasn't committing to going. After the tour we sat in Alison's office and I asked her if she thought the Rose House could help my daughter. Alison said if she is willing to come she is exactly who we help. My daughter said no one can help me I'm broken. My daughter checked herself in a few weeks later after being arrested for a DV situation and a high speed chase with the police. She spent a night in jail and realized she did not want to spend another one there. She had a court hearing. Alison met us there to support her and then took her to the Rose House. We couldn't speak to her for 2 weeks during the settling in period. Once we could communicate with her we saw growth every time we spoke or saw her. I asked her what was different this time. Her answer was 1. I'm ready for help and 2. the staff knows what they are doing and I know they care about me. I don't want to paint the wrong picture, recovery is never a straight line and it doesn't always happen in a set period of time. I was glad that the Rose House worked towards goals and that's what drove moving to the next step - not a set number of days on a calendar. They were also there on the tough days. Setting boundaries when needed, treating clients with respect and always showing compassion and consistency. The other thing that is different about the Rose House is that they really believe that the healing of the client's family is important and do a lot of work towards that with the weekly family zoom meeting and the family weekend. We learn that we can not control the decisions of our loved ones but we can set boundaries for ourselves. We can support them in their recovery but we can't do it for them. Our daughter graduated from the program and spent some time in the step down program. She is now 19, just received her 6 months chip for being clean and sober and is holding a fulltime job. She continues going to meetings almost everyday and is working with her own therapist to continue the work that was started in the Rose House. I honestly believe that if we hadn't found the Rose House she would be dead now. Instead I get to hug her everyday and get to see the wonderful woman she is becoming. The people saying this place isn't great are lying. I've been going here for 6 months & the therapist, receptionists, and crisis counselors, psychiatrist are all phenomenal. I haven't ever made as much progress in the 10+ years of therapy with other providers as I have in 6 months with these folks. Very very highly recommend this place.

I wish these could be done in person so that the reader could know the sincerity of this review..... Gail came to me with my issue...I was suffering severally and not even doctors could diagnose.... she was able to see it in my activities and mindset.... she knew I was suffering before I did. To be able to go to someone and have them evaluate you then have them tell you all the places you are hurting without having to tell them..... that is when you have struck knowledge gold. Gail is gold standard health care...... listen to her... absorb what she is teaching you and you will benefit from it. If I could put up the pictures of the parasites I have coming out of this body...I would endure the embarrassment of it if it meant having another person see how bad these issues are and deciding to correct it in themselves....I would....I now just want to keeo being and doing in this new mindset this therapy is giving me. I've been a fan of Jaywalker Lodge for years, and my respect for what they've built has only grown over time. As a fellow behavioral health professional who has referred clients to Jaywalker and spent time on the ground in Carbondale with their team, I've had a front-row seat to what this program actually produces, and it's the real thing. Let me start with the obvious: the location is extraordinary. Carbondale is one of the most beautiful places in this country, and Jaywalker leverages that setting in a way that actually matters clinically. Their clients aren't just staring at mountains, they're experiencing all that incredible place has to offer (skiing, mountain biking, etc.). That connection to the outdoors isn't a selling point, it's part of how men rediscover what it feels like to be alive. But what makes Jaywalker truly exceptional isn't the scenery, it's the community. Carbondale has embraced this program in a way I've never seen in any other treatment market. You can't walk through town without running into an alumnus who stayed, built a life, found work, and put down roots. I've seen this firsthand - walking those streets, talking with people who came for treatment and never left because they finally had something worth staying for. That kind of living proof is rare and powerful. I've sat with their clinical and leadership team, seen how they operate up close, and walked away more impressed each time. Their communication is exceptional, their collaboration with families is thoughtful, and the sustained recoveries I've seen in referred clients speak for themselves. This is a team that isn't content with where they are, they're always evolving, always raising the bar, and they hold themselves to a standard the rest of the industry should be studying. The residence all rooms are private with their own bath (I think 2 rooms might be double) only 14 people MAX at a time. You are welcomed with your own stainless steel water bottle, loofah, and a wall full of medicinal and herbal teas (just to name a few things in the welcome gift package. Each room is professionally decorated. The chef prepares healthy meals. 4-5 INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING SESSIONS AND ACTUAL FUNCTIONAL DR EVERY WEEK!!!!! Receiving treatment at Inner Balance was a trans formative experience. I experienced healing from all perspectives and was given the tools to create a sober life. They offer my mind body and spirit healing to understand why I was using drinking as a primary coping mechanism. I have been able to use the tools I learned everyday. I have created a journey of inward love for myself. The staff was so inspirational, so relate able, and facilitated my ability to open my eyes to my innate wisdom. My biggest nugget was from the spiritual neurologist "90% of the thoughts we have are the same ones we had yesterday". I struggled with early life growing up in the small town in Wisconsin. Didn’t realize how bad it was until I was hopelessly hanging on by a thread. Nearby recovery resources helped me discover Choice House, and that is where my life really began to change in unimaginable ways. I worked through early recover here; spent three months inpatient at the lookout, and four months in outpatient sober living while transitioning into a new unimaginable fulfilling life. I graduated my 28 days in resident treatment program at North Point. My experience was truly amazing. The food was great, nice warm beds and plenty of activities. But most impressive was the staff. The kitchen, the techs, case managers, nurses, counselors, etc. made everything worth it. They truly care about your wellbeing and provide the knowledge so you can succeed in your sobriety journey. 10/10 would recommend!

North Point was a great experience for me. they do a great job of curating a community centered environment. The people here cared about getting better and the staff was great, the counselors were amazing. There were some hiccups and annoyances, but oh well; we’re here for rehabilitation, not a vacation. Harmony was one of the best experiences of my life. It is in the most beautiful setting to go through detoxing and rehabilitation of the body one could imagine. If you're ready to stop fighting, and want to make lifelong changes for the betterment of your physical and Spiritual self, there is NO better place! There are even Buddhist and Indigenous Spiritual paths to recovery introduced at Harmony. Luckily, I live near Harmony and have already been present for one alumni event, but I plan on staying engaged with Harmony in the years ahead. With that said, as with all recovery, you should come to Harmony fully surrendered and never wanting to drink or use again. You cannot get sober for anybody else. Harmony truly will give you back as much as you desire to quit. The facility is amazing! Betty Jo, Alisha, and Ceana at the Fort Collins office truly understand the assignment, and treat everyone with respect and genuine care. I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt like I had to for Narconon Colorado. This place genuinely helped change my life. Even though I didn’t complete the full program and ended up leaving early, the time I spent there still had a huge impact on me. The staff actually cared and treated me like a person, not just another case. They gave me tools and a different mindset that I still carry with me today. I came in at a really low point in my life, and even in the short time I was there, I started to see things differently and believe that I could do better for myself. No program is perfect, and leaving early was my own decision, but I can honestly say this place helped save my life. It gave me a foundation I didn’t have before, and for that I’m grateful. If you’re serious about wanting to change, this is a place that can help you take those first steps.

It's hard to describe the level of care and support that Rose House provides. No family ever wants to be in this situation, but Rose House provides a level of knowledge, confidence and assurance that we couldn't find anywhere else. The fact that it is female specific makes its mission that more effective in not only dealing with addiction but the underlying roots of abuse and trauma. We were desperate and they gave us our daughter back. This place is not an adult daycare or resort. They require not only the patients to do the hard work, but the families as well. If you care about your family member you have to put in the work as well, because these folks have a tough road ahead of them and no one goes it alone in life. For these people that need this level of care Rose House is superlative in giving patients and families the tools they need to turn their lives around.

I had a life changing experience during my stay at the Rose House. The staff are kind and firm at the same time. The dynamics between the clients is also a very therapeutic part of it all. I want to start this review by acknowledging that recovery from mental health issues, trauma and addiction is HARD. There is no one place that will be a good fit for everybody and no place will work until the client wants to change and is ready to do the very difficult work required for healing. We stumbled upon the Rose House when we had almost lost all hope for our 18 year old daughter. She had been in and out of various mental health facilities and rehab facilities but nothing worked. She was an addict but if she checked into a rehab facility the trauma she had experienced caused her to go into a fight or flight response. She acted out verbally and by self harming. Although they would claim to be a dual diagnosis center, they would always call us within a day or so and tell us they didn't have the type of facilities to help her. If we tried to get her residential mental health help we were told there was no such place. She could only be put on a 72 hour hold if she was a danger to herself or others. Our daughter's addiction began when a couple of men lured her into their trafficking scheme. She was 14 and they paid her a lot of attention. In her mind one of them was her boyfriend and she felt flattered that an older man would want her. They started giving her drugs in exchange for sex. Soon she needed the drugs to stop the feeling of guilt and disgust she felt from what was happening to her. When she finally said no to one of them he physically and forcibly raped her. I wish we had understood earlier what was going on. (This man is now serving 97 years in a Colorado prison) We walked into the Rose House and took a tour at her lowest point. She agreed to look at the Rose House but wasn't committing to going. After the tour we sat in Alison's office and I asked her if she thought the Rose House could help my daughter. Alison said if she is willing to come she is exactly who we help. My daughter said no one can help me I'm broken. My daughter checked herself in a few weeks later after being arrested for a DV situation and a high speed chase with the police. She spent a night in jail and realized she did not want to spend another one there. She had a court hearing. Alison met us there to support her and then took her to the Rose House. We couldn't speak to her for 2 weeks during the settling in period. Once we could communicate with her we saw growth every time we spoke or saw her. I asked her what was different this time. Her answer was 1. I'm ready for help and 2. the staff knows what they are doing and I know they care about me. I don't want to paint the wrong picture, recovery is never a straight line and it doesn't always happen in a set period of time. I was glad that the Rose House worked towards goals and that's what drove moving to the next step - not a set number of days on a calendar. They were also there on the tough days. Setting boundaries when needed, treating clients with respect and always showing compassion and consistency. The other thing that is different about the Rose House is that they really believe that the healing of the client's family is important and do a lot of work towards that with the weekly family zoom meeting and the family weekend. We learn that we can not control the decisions of our loved ones but we can set boundaries for ourselves. We can support them in their recovery but we can't do it for them. Our daughter graduated from the program and spent some time in the step down program. She is now 19, just received her 6 months chip for being clean and sober and is holding a fulltime job. She continues going to meetings almost everyday and is working with her own therapist to continue the work that was started in the Rose House. I honestly believe that if we hadn't found the Rose House she would be dead now. Instead I get to hug her everyday and get to see the wonderful woman she is becoming. The Rose House and it's staff have our undying gratitude.

I got into some shenanigans and such, and ran away even, but it always felt like they could see through these acts and actually see someone who needed some help and guidance. I can't say enough good things about this organization and the people that work here. Coming up on 2 months of sobriety, I can honestly say I would not be here without the amazing staff and therapists at NorthStar. I want to give a huge shout out to Sean who worked with me in helping me identify my triggers and to create a plan for my future. I could write a review a mile long if I started naming all the great staff at the lodge, but I'll keep it to this: from the AM staff to the PM staff, every single person there is invested in supporting you on your journey, and they truly 'get it.' Case managers Hannah and Ryan were in contact with me frequently to give updates and help in any way they could. Summit womans recovery is phenomenal! I just celebrated 4 years sober and without SWR, I wouldn't be where I am today. The only reason there isn't more awesome reviews is because of the stigma around admitting online you went to a recovery program. If you have a problem with drugs or alcohol you will get the tools to get through it with SWR.

Summit Women’s Recovery was instrumental in my transition from inpatient treatment to moving home. Jeanette and Susanne are amazing, insightful therapists who assisted my entire family in building trust with each other and mending resentments.
