I was physically ill by the time I reached InnerBalance, with frequent seizures, low platelets and liver disease. I was in so much emotional pain and despair. InnerBalance gave me a lifeline. What made it so phenomenal, were the people who worked there, many of whom are still there today. There was an emphasis on nutrition and correcting imbalances in my body. I was allowed to go out at times to explore Loveland. That kind of normalcy and trust was meaningful. I was given support through group and individual therapy, as well as a nutritionist and life coach. The organic meals were very nourishing and the education around how to care for my mental and physical health were invaluable. They encouraged me to go to sober living after I left InnerBalance, which made a huge difference in maintaining my sobriety by giving my body and spirit more time to heal. I relapsed several times within that year, but because of the genuine support I had received from the counselors at InnerBalance, I did not continue in any of my relapses. I now have six and a half years of sobriety. InnerBalance gave me the support I needed to let go of what was holding me back from sobriety. I learned how to love myself in a way I never had before. It was just the beginning of my journey, but their program and everyone there, had a ripple effect that changed the way I approached early sobriety, and even the way I still approach my health. I had never even heard of residential treatment facility but I was desperate for a safe place to go where my family didn’t have to be in charge of my care. At the rose house I found a safe place to process a lot of complex trauma, which for me included religious trauma, and learn to heal. I can remember asking how people heal here and the staff just telling me to trust the process. It took a lot of hard work. This place isn’t a vacation. It’s a place to come face to face with yourself, to allow others to see you in your pain and to learn to trust yourself again. I truly believe going to the rose house saved my life. They provided a safe place for me to deal with my trauma, a place where I could have my dignity and some independence while also having staff to help. My therapist was amazing and helped me face many things. The community of women are key for healing because we can’t heal in isolation. My only one thing that I think could use improvement is support for when you go home. I know other programs provide some aftercare and I think this would be very help for all once they leave the care of the rose house. But overall I can’t recommend them enough if you are seeking help for mental illness! The people saying this place isn't great are lying. I've been going here for 6 months & the therapist, receptionists, and crisis counselors, psychiatrist are all phenomenal. I haven't ever made as much progress in the 10+ years of therapy with other providers as I have in 6 months with these folks. Very very highly recommend this place.

I wish these could be done in person so that the reader could know the sincerity of this review..... Gail came to me with my issue...I was suffering severally and not even doctors could diagnose.... she was able to see it in my activities and mindset.... she knew I was suffering before I did. To be able to go to someone and have them evaluate you then have them tell you all the places you are hurting without having to tell them..... that is when you have struck knowledge gold. Gail is gold standard health care...... listen to her... absorb what she is teaching you and you will benefit from it. If I could put up the pictures of the parasites I have coming out of this body...I would endure the embarrassment of it if it meant having another person see how bad these issues are and deciding to correct it in themselves....I would....I now just want to keeo being and doing in this new mindset this therapy is giving me. I've been a fan of Jaywalker Lodge for years, and my respect for what they've built has only grown over time. As a fellow behavioral health professional who has referred clients to Jaywalker and spent time on the ground in Carbondale with their team, I've had a front-row seat to what this program actually produces, and it's the real thing. Let me start with the obvious: the location is extraordinary. Carbondale is one of the most beautiful places in this country, and Jaywalker leverages that setting in a way that actually matters clinically. Their clients aren't just staring at mountains, they're experiencing all that incredible place has to offer (skiing, mountain biking, etc.). That connection to the outdoors isn't a selling point, it's part of how men rediscover what it feels like to be alive. But what makes Jaywalker truly exceptional isn't the scenery, it's the community. Carbondale has embraced this program in a way I've never seen in any other treatment market. You can't walk through town without running into an alumnus who stayed, built a life, found work, and put down roots. I've seen this firsthand - walking those streets, talking with people who came for treatment and never left because they finally had something worth staying for. That kind of living proof is rare and powerful. I've sat with their clinical and leadership team, seen how they operate up close, and walked away more impressed each time. Their communication is exceptional, their collaboration with families is thoughtful, and the sustained recoveries I've seen in referred clients speak for themselves. This is a team that isn't content with where they are, they're always evolving, always raising the bar, and they hold themselves to a standard the rest of the industry should be studying. The leadership operates with genuine integrity. That's not something you can fake long-term, and it's certainly not something you can fake in person. Jaywalker has been proving it for years. InnerBalance is a hidden gem among inpatient rehabs. I struggled with addiction for many years and went to several inpatient rehabs. Nothing was working. I was physically ill by the time I reached InnerBalance, with frequent seizures, low platelets and liver disease. I was in so much emotional pain and despair. InnerBalance gave me a lifeline. What made it so phenomenal, were the people who worked there, many of whom are still there today. There was an emphasis on nutrition and correcting imbalances in my body. I was allowed to go out at times to explore Loveland. That kind of normalcy and trust was meaningful. I was given support through group and individual therapy, as well as a nutritionist and life coach. The organic meals were very nourishing and the education around how to care for my mental and physical health were invaluable. They encouraged me to go to sober living after I left InnerBalance, which made a huge difference in maintaining my sobriety by giving my body and spirit more time to heal. I relapsed several times within that year, but because of the genuine support I had received from the counselors at InnerBalance, I did not continue in any of my relapses. I now have six and a half years of sobriety. InnerBalance gave me the support I needed to let go of what was holding me back from sobriety. I learned how to love myself in a way I never had before. It was just the beginning of my journey, but their program and everyone there, had a ripple effect that changed the way I approached early sobriety, and even the way I still approach my health. I hope anyone who is struggling with addiction finds their way to the wonderful people at InnerBalance.

A year ago i checked in to the Rose house after finding them from a google search while in a scary mental health spiral. I had never even heard of residential treatment facility but I was desperate for a safe place to go where my family didn’t have to be in charge of my care. At the rose house I found a safe place to process a lot of complex trauma, which for me included religious trauma, and learn to heal. I can remember asking how people heal here and the staff just telling me to trust the process. It took a lot of hard work. This place isn’t a vacation. It’s a place to come face to face with yourself, to allow others to see you in your pain and to learn to trust yourself again. I truly believe going to the rose house saved my life. They provided a safe place for me to deal with my trauma, a place where I could have my dignity and some independence while also having staff to help. My therapist was amazing and helped me face many things. The community of women are key for healing because we can’t heal in isolation. My only one thing that I think could use improvement is support for when you go home. I know other programs provide some aftercare and I think this would be very help for all once they leave the care of the rose house. But overall I can’t recommend them enough if you are seeking help for mental illness!

Before coming to The Rose House, she had experienced several short-term psychiatric hospitalizations and had worked with therapists, but unfortunately, lasting recovery had not yet taken hold. The difference at The Rose House was the opportunity for long-term, comprehensive care—more than 90 days of treatment focused entirely on her needs and on helping her build the foundation for lasting wellness. Just as importantly, The Rose House included our family in the process. We learned, participated, and were given the tools and understanding to support her in a healthy and meaningful way. That family involvement has continued even after treatment. We remain engaged in outpatient counseling and are committed to being open, supportive, and encouraging of her ongoing wellness. Today, she has been healthy and doing well for a year and a half. She has worked incredibly hard, has taken responsibility for her own wellness, and has done an amazing job caring for herself. We know recovery is an ongoing journey, but The Rose House gave her—and all of us as a family—the time, tools, support, and foundation that made lasting change possible. We are deeply grateful to The Rose House and the people who cared for her. I was here for only 6 months on hunter cottage. I loved it there. The staff made you feel at home in the cottage and the school was amazing. The staff would always make amazing food and it was so good. When I was there I never saw anyone say the food is bad. I discharged on March 16th 2026. It was an amazing journey and helped me have a really good wake up call. Shout out to all of the staff, teachers, helpers, and etc of what they taught me. Laura was an amazing staff on hunter cottage, Taryn, slim, Cheyenne, Adri, Willow, Delaney, and everyone else! Thank you guys so much for helping me. If it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t be here right now. If your kids are struggling and feel the need to go to treatment, take them here!!

My name’s Shay and I was there about 3-4 years back and I loved the place. I got into some shenanigans and such, and ran away even, but it always felt like they could see through these acts and actually see someone who needed some help and guidance. Staff were amazing, and I actually learned while in school. It felt like the first place were I could be myself and grow as a person. Shout out Julianna, my therapist. They were the first place I went to were they never outsourced a need for rehabilitation to punishing you or controlling you. If you’re ever in need of some guidance or help, I recommend this place for 100%.

I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews, because I love this place. I have been seeing my current therapist here for a couple years now and have seriously experienced a complete turn around in my life in every single area. I cannot recommend this place enough. I can't say enough good things about this organization and the people that work here. Coming up on 2 months of sobriety, I can honestly say I would not be here without the amazing staff and therapists at NorthStar. I want to give a huge shout out to Sean who worked with me in helping me identify my triggers and to create a plan for my future. I could write a review a mile long if I started naming all the great staff at the lodge, but I'll keep it to this: from the AM staff to the PM staff, every single person there is invested in supporting you on your journey, and they truly 'get it.' From laughter to serious moments, they facilitated the perfect healing environment for me. KW was also very influential in my healing.

first mental hospital iv ever gone to before and i really liked it. at first i was really scared and i would cry everyday and i wouldn’t eat but the staff would try to be really supportive and try there best to get me to eat and drink water and one time i had ate macaroni and this one staff clapped for me cus she knew i wasn’t eating i was to scared and depressed at that. and i had a lot of support definitely 10/10 i honestly miss mountain crest so much, also met so many kids there that were so chill and we just understood each other besides this one girl i didn’t like but anyways yea. mountain crest is cool the staff there are really sweet and nice at least for me i felt like they cared and gave me the support i needed while being there never judged anything i said just support and advise.

Recently a family member received services at the newly located PVH behavioral management unit. The staff is excellent. Case managers Hannah and Ryan were in contact with me frequently to give updates and help in any way they could. They obviously cared and worked with our family according to goals and assistance contacting outside agencies and placement for transfer. The whole team from visitor’s desk to the Drs is top notch.

Summit womans recovery is phenomenal! I just celebrated 4 years sober and without SWR, I wouldn't be where I am today. The only reason there isn't more awesome reviews is because of the stigma around admitting online you went to a recovery program. If you have a problem with drugs or alcohol you will get the tools to get through it with SWR.

Summit Women’s Recovery was instrumental in my transition from inpatient treatment to moving home. Jeanette and Susanne are amazing, insightful therapists who assisted my entire family in building trust with each other and mending resentments. I have been sober a year and a half and owe a debt of gratitude to SWR for helping me to forgive myself and navigate a new, happy, peaceful life in recovery. I stayed nearly a year at Summit Women’s Recovery for the support, camaraderie and friendships I found there. I can’t praise Summit Women’s Recovery enough for the work they are doing!
