Seems like since it turned into Axis I have had a much harder time getting appointments etc. I recently went in the office to update some info and thank God there was a new receptionist. The last one gave me so much anxiety I avoided her. Not good for a mental health clinic. I would have been happier checking in online than deal with her. Sadly though I had been put on a waiting list a couple months ago for a therapist. Although I have been patient over two years. And then found out there was actually in person appointment available yet no one contacted me. I hope to see improvements continue. I'm grateful for what ever helps I get, but another thing since Axis took over is the emphasis on payment. I can't get an appointment with the therapist now until I get on sliding fee.

Excellent resource for this community, with wonderful care! The staff cares about the patients and will do everything they can to help each one of them. I felt comfortable reaching out to them for help, I went through their counseling and medication management. I never felt rushed or disregarded when speaking with the staff about my concerns for their treatment, they were really open about it.

I like to leave high star reviews just in hopes maybe someone will actually realize it’s about wanting change and not ruining a business chance at it by affecting their overall ratings. I agree with the comment; “The clinicians are either great or terrible…” ABSOLUTELY. The front desk is cold 98% of the time, has a way of making you feel like an absolute waste of space, time, and effort……Now if this was an Arby’s, or maybe even an eye dr, honestly I’d probably move about my day. But this is MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES. The thought of having people with god awful bedside manner when you’re in such a time of need & vulnerability is absolutely infuriating. Some of us are crippled by social interaction, especially phone calls/confrontation, the least you could expect is someone with more than a monotone voice and dead look in their eyes. Maybe it’s because the fronts & and clinicians are properly medicated/regulated so they come across with no form of emotion….Lapsing on meds, no call backs for days/weeks. I won’t list my dr quite yet in hopes there is progress made. These are quite literally peoples lives you are playing with, if you only have a textbook perception of these disorders, maybe it’s time to look at a different industry.

Al Gonzales is my therapist, a Veteran and is extremely helpful and therapeutic in many aspects of my life. In years past I had a doctor, there, who put me on multiple medications, he changed my life. I was a complete mess. Overweight, depressed, feeling worthless. Everything changed on the meds I was taking. For some reason the doctor was let go, later. I am thankful for that doctor, in that time in my life. I am thankful for Al Gonzales, now!

the counselors here are incompetent at their jobs, you have to constantly remind them to communicate with probation officers and they still don’t. The front desk staff are genuinely nice and good at customer service. If you’re looking for somewhere with professional counselors seek treatment somewhere else.

The Glenwood staff and my doctor were awesome!!!! I have seen so many nasty reviews but my 15 visits in the last 6 months, I have seen only people that are polite, professional and on top of their game. From the front desk to my intake coordinator, I was impressed. Then assigned Dr. Katie Hundertmark couldn't have been more helpful. Felt very lucky! MJ Horn was also great and very knowledgeable. She got some tricky things done for me. Bad news and negative reviews always travels 10 times faster and farther. This is coming from someone that was in medical field for 14 years. Thank you Mind Springs!!!!!! :)

While I was a little hesitant getting into treatment like most, the staff at sandstone were extremely patient and caring throughout the whole process. I attended and completed the dual diagnosis iop program while in treatment the staff at sandstone did an amazing job to make me feel welcome and comfortable and addressed and concerns quickly and effectively. The groups were very involved and really challenged me to grow as a person. After treatment I’ve been attending the alumni program that meets regularly and does fun events. It’s been a really good way to connect with others in the sober community and to get the extra support when I need it. I would highly recommend looking into sandstone if your considering treatment or haven’t found a place that’s right for you.

I went through sandstone twice. Once when I was 18 and again when I was 19. At the time I was not willing to admit that I had a problem with substances. I thought I had everything figured out. The years after I had graduated the program I was able to prove to myself that I still knew nothing about my alcoholism. I am grateful for sandstone since I wouldn’t have even been able to have any type of knowledge about my own substance use if it wasn’t for the amazing staff over at sandstone. They helped me get my foot through the door into the world of recovery. I don’t know where I would be without sandstone and I am beyond grateful for the effort the staff puts in to help people with their mental health/substance abuse. I now have a great relationship with my family, a true connection with my friends and most important I have a life worth living now. That is just the surface of what recovery has brought into my life. I have sandstone to thank for that!

1) Group therapy, and learning new skills.
2) Once enrolled you can also schedule individual therapy.
3) After graduating the program you are invited to Alumni events. So you always feel connected to the program and get to meet previous graduates of the program. Some events I’ve been to were Lantern Festival, Animal sanctuary, Game Nights, and many more. There are also zoom sessions.
I really am thankful for the Alumni group and coordinators for always checking in.

AspenRidge has been an absolute game changer in my recovery journey. Straight out of residential treatment, I was able to start a 5-day a week IOP group. Over about 5.5 months, I slowly went down from 5 days, to 3 days, to 1 day a week. I benefited from the groups everyday I attended, and still today, more than half a year later. I am now 14 months sober as of August 28th, and loving every part of life. The skills, relationships, and knowledge I gained and continue to gain from AspenRidge have been invaluable. I will forever be grateful for them as a resource. I continue to stay connected via the Alumni program, and highly recommend this Treatment Center to all needing help.

I had went to shadow mountain a few years back, and they have really helped me change my life for the better. I went in anxious and insecure, and everyone here (including Randal and Richard, and a lot more staff I can’t remember the name of) had lifted me up and supported me in ways I’ve never experienced in other facilities. Randal had helped me become more confident in myself while Richard had helped me understand my relationship with life and god deeper, and they gave me the opportunity to go forward to another sober living out in Huntington Beach, which has all lead to me coming up on 2 years sober this months, a finance I love, and a life that I feel like I’m thriving in. Shadow mountain was a fundamental part of my life changing from relentless drug abuse and hurting myself and others around me, to growth in myself and a life where I have value and purpose. Thank you for not assisting me with anything. Providing me with 3 months worth of muscle relaxers. Injecting me with an NSAID that didn't work. And then charging me $1000 for labs that my doctor told me in-person, that they were not going to be charged to me.

Horrible experience in all aspects of this facility as well as the new one. When I first went to the old one they told me not to bother calling because they don’t answer the phone. The mental health doctor was more interested in vilifying the meds I’ve been prescribed for over 20 years for a more homeopathic approach with me asking for or wanting it. Then when you are honest and share with them they write in your file taking info out of context to leave bad representation of me for future physicians to see. My primary was the same way, when I have had sleep issues for years and tried many ways to fix them, his big fix was to rub lavender on my hands and smell it to fix an issue with staying asleep. With the lack of care I have received in west coast va facilities, it seems to be a healthier option to get my own insurance and forfeit any care they might offer at the va until I’m back to some of the east coast facilities that have a better track record of listening to patients and working toward vet health rather than valuing their beliefs and feelings over the patients

Choice House gave me my life back. The staff are great and have all been in the same place and are in recovery too. I loved the focus on activity and community building. The individual therapy was also greatly beneficial. I stayed the three months and decided to do the sober living program. I can’t recommend it more. As a man who traveled to country going to different treatment centers, I would say that I wish I had found Choice House earlier in my recovery journey.

Hands down an incredible, comfortable, and supporting facility. I checked myself into MSR in December for a 30 day rehab rehabilitation visit. I cannot say this without any more honest truth that this facility helped me get my life back. The director John Aicher runs a very smooth and accommodating program where he personally speaks to each individual resident and ensuring the fulfillment in their stay. Thank you for the most wonderful experience. The facilities are comfortable and beautiful. The director of operations, John, is always available to speak with about any issues you may have. The facilitators are all in recovery as well, so they really know what you are going through and what you have been through. Coach Al, Dr. Crow, Kim, Ester, Eddie, Liz, and Roxanne are amazing. They have so much insight to share with you. Ashley, Zach, Tanya, Selena, Teresa, thank you for always being friendly and helpful as well. I recently completed my treatment at Mountain Springs Recovery, and it was wonderful. The facility is a short drive from the mountains, and the range is visible from multiple areas which makes for a great backdrop for anyone seeking recovery.
My flight was delayed the day of my intake, so I didn't get into Colorado Springs airport until after midnight. The staff still happily picked me up from the airport and was very prompt about completing documentation necessary. Every one of the BHTs were so kind and helpful. I had only positive experiences with all of the BHTs, and all of them are very kind. Not just from a professional standpoint, but also just good company in case I was waiting for meds, provider, etc. I will give special shoutout to Ashley and Zach, for they both have incredible energy and always stay positive.
The facility is what it is described as, and the only downfall is that in the winter months, you do need to pack accordingly because a lot of the walkways in between buildings are outside and uncovered. All in all, it's a very easy place to navigate because the buildings travel in a circle from the front desk area.
I also really love this place because I didn't have to disconnect. I work remotely, and I couldn't find a good time to take a good length of time out of my schedule without feeling completely halted in my business. And while I understand some other treatment centers restrict internet and phone access to "make clients fully immerse in the program," I do not believe that to have been the case at MSR. With keeping the connection to the outside world both professionally and personally, it actually made my experience better because it prevented me from getting stir-crazy and made communications and planning aftercare a lot easier. IOP was planned with my case manager there, but determining specific groups, locations, and other personal plans for recovery and support, I liked having the available internet access to be able to structure my life after leaving.
I cannot recommend this place enough. John, the director, is always so on top of operations and was very prompt about addressing any concerns or tasks that needed to be completed. If I brought something up to staff, they all helped where they could, even if it was keeping proficient communication between staff turn-overs. If it wasn't being addressed as quickly as was necessary or I had further questions, it was a well-known statement that you could always bring it up at the community meeting, or above all else, "Talk to John." I've never had this level of interaction with someone in that high of a position, whether it be a dean, a boss, etc. To have him be so amicable and helpful was a great resource.
I could give an individual shoutout to all of the facilitators for different reasons, but there are two that really stand out to me. Both Al and Xavier are incredible facilitators, have their own experiences, and have a lot of wisdom about what they are teaching outside of the material/topic that they were discussing on any given day. I've talked to both of them by interacting in groups and outside of groups. Their energies are so consistent, so it's easy to see their genuineness of character.

I can without doubt say I would be dead if it wasn't for drg. I did suboxone for a year before finding myself at drg's door. While I do not like the bureaucracy and negative stigma of attending a methadone clinic i will say that DRG does care about the well being of the patient, even if at times it may not feel like it. I have been there for 5 years now and I have seen staff come and go and have had more counselors then most but every one I have had has always genuinely cared about my well being. For myself it might be a little different because I have high stress career that includes a lot of travel and if you saw me you may never guess I have an opioid problem but of all the places I have ever been to or guest dosed at, drg is by far above the rest. Hannah my counselor is truly amazing and james the other counselor is just as wonderful and amber who usually runs the front is also amazing and I absolutely love Shelly the nurse. They are all caring and kind and treat me with the up most respect even when I can tell they are having a day. I think the stigma will always be there no matter what clinic you go to but I will say DRG does it's best to not be the same as every other clinic. I believe Denise strives to be an industry standard. While I will not always agree with everything they do or say I will always say that this place saved my life and continues to do so. Sorry for the extremely long message but after seeing the negative reviews I thought I would say how wonderful of a place I truly believe drg is.

I struggled with opioids after a work injury, but this place really helped me. The Suboxone treatment worked well, and I was able to keep in touch with my family throughout. They also worked with me on my pain through physical therapy and even gave me some help getting back to work. It hasn’t been easy, but I feel like I’m on the right track.

I was not ready for what I was walking into, in a good way! The staff is the ABSOLUTE BEST! I felt welcomed, never judged, cared for and about! The staff was AMAZING... (in the order of appearance because I loved them all so much!) Wanda, Darian, Tess, Sadie, Paige, Shante, Frances & Kiki!! LOVE THEM! They made sure I had everything I needed to come down comfortably! The pictures of the rooms, that's what you get! A queen sized bed with a TV in your private room. Beds are comfy and the great lighting for whatever mood you're in! The entire facility is clean, really clean! The staff here really takes pride in what they do! The food, was amazing! They order in Door Dash for lunch and dinner from good places! Plus, they have things to eat in the kitchen as well as coffee, hot tea, Gold Peak teas, Gatorade, and way more! Fruits, toast, bagels! I could go on! I appreciated that they kept everything stocked. While there, they also helped me to line up what my next steps were, provided me resources on places/providers/therapists that were in network for me. I didn't expect that, but really appreciate not having to leave without a plan! Thank you lovely therapist Ali for all your hard work on that! I can't forget Dr. Welcher, she clearly knows what she's doing and how to handle this process! To barely feel any symptoms is unheard of! This is the way to go! No reason to be scared anymore!
One more shout out to the staff! I wouldn't be where I am today without all of them! I've been going through it pretty bad (like most people), but they were so kind, compassionate, attentive and truly have the biggest hearts! I was a client at The Foundry Treatment center in 2018 and to this day my experience and knowledge I acquired at "The Ranch" is invaluable. I have had my fair share of struggles since, as many of us do in recovery. That said, without the tools I obtained from the clients to the techs, clinical staff all the way up to the Clinical Director, I would be as good as dead. I learned patience, self-care, and most importantly forgiveness. The simplest things such as being able to be mindful and practice awareness are vital to staying on track. Understanding your own red flags and being comfortable and open to vulnerability were instilled upon me in this program and I am forever in debt. They took an approach to treatment I had never experienced. We were more than just a number being herded around. They fought for us and our recovery. I wish everyone got the opportunity to have this experience and at the drop of a hat I would go back to visit and thank each and every one working there. If you are struggling or know anyone struggling do whatever it takes to get to this facility. It will change your life. Thank you, Foundry family.

Just did a walk in intake so far. The staff member Ian was exceptionally helpful, and polite, and a very kind and professional man..my boyfriend and I showed up ad walk ins just after working on cars all.day we were a bit messy. Ian didn't change his behavior towards us though. He was still very professional and spoke.to us the same way he spoke to all the other clients

I first would like to say this is not a reflection on the professionals that work here. They are all amazing. Calling to get a hold of your provider is a different story. First I go through the main office, go through the series of questions on who I am, my son, my address just to be transfered to where I get a voice mail saying to leave message. Who knows when I'll get a call back and if I miss that call back I have to go through the process all over again. It never was like this before covid. I spoke to a person straight from that office. If it wasn't for my sons doctor I would have found someone new. Oh and don't even get me started with billing. She has no clue what I'm talking about and I just wanted receipts sent to my email.
