I've been coming here a while now and I can honestly say this program saved my life and gave me back my life and if you've ever been there addiction changes you Thanks to all the help and support from the staff here FCCR shout out to Austin and Caitlin thanks for all your help. Went in to the ER for a bit of a scare with my pregnancy. Dr. Rachel who saw me is an amazing professional who has impeccable bedside manner and gentleness. I was in and out within 2.5 hours after they figured out the source of the problem, likely due to it being midday. Even so, everyone we came across was helpful and kind. This is what patients will remember forever so please keep it up!

My opthamology tech was very knowledgeable and helpful. She advised me on future appointments and when I'm doing upgrade. She went over and beyond for me. My four-year-old son was admitted to the Pediatric Unit and I was blown away by our experience.
He was a direct admission from our pediatrician and that process couldn’t have gone smoother. I very much appreciated being able to skip an ED visit and just walk straight onto the unit. We walked into our room and immediately found a Jared box, a backpack full of toys, and a colorful, warm blanket. My son was so excited to see these special touches and was so comforted by them- the Jared Box was a huge hit and absolutely saved the day.
Our nurses – Hannah, Taylor, and Anthony – were incredible. I especially want to shout out Hannah and Taylor – they were outstanding. They put me at such ease with their professionalism, efficiency, and compassionate care. Taylor was also just incredible all night long. Once I was able to get him to sleep, she went out of her way to make sure his vital checks were so quiet and unobtrusive that he never even woke up. She also managed the messier moments of our stay with such grace, and I just really appreciated the way she cared for my son.
Dr. Chanock and Dr. El Bash were both amazing as well. I deeply appreciated Dr. Chanock asking me to step into the hallway to discuss the care plan so as not to create more anxiety in my son. This was such an unexpected and thoughtful thing and allowed me to concentrate on processing the plan without managing his emotions at the same time.
I have such a deep appreciation for the way this team cared for my son, and we could not have had a better experience on the Pediatric Unit. Thank you to the entire team!

I spent eight long days at Mary Washington healing from a brutal domestic violence incident. The care and patience and kindness I received from every staff member on Four South was unmatched by any stay I’ve had in my life. I’m sixty one and had many stays from the doctors to the sweet ladies that kept my room spotless to the accommodating kitchen staff it was pleasant. They didn’t let me suffer in pain. The food was shockingly good. I felt like royalty. The care I was given had as much to do with my healing as the medicine I was given. I’m off to a rehabilitation center now and will miss them.
If I could give them ten stars I would give them ten stars. I’m giving them ten stars in my heart.

This place is not like any other place, they actually listen to you and are not out for your money! Mr. Hawkins will work with you if you have financial or attendance problems. These sessions consist of small, personal, relaxed environment sessions. At first I was kinda skeptical because I’ve been to others and to be honest, just going through the other clinics sessions “made” me wanna drink afterward. Not this place, it was just all good vibes. You’ll definitely enjoy your group sessions (I know that’s weird to say about a therapy center). I would 100% recommend.

New Life is not for just men, the women's program and men's programs are also in Richmond, VA. Also the listing here is not accurate about the cost. New Life is one of the most amazing places I have ever seen. They truly care about people and are willing to work through financial difficulty. They just want people to get the help they need.
I came in 2006-2007 to overcome heroin addiction. My life had been totally destroyed by addiction. I came barely hanging onto life.
The amazing love and care that was given to me was beyond anything I hoped for or deserved. I have been clean and sober for over 12 years now and can say that New Life truly changed my life!
I am living a full and happy life, today and have recommended the program to many people who have also overcome addiction with their help.

This center is excellent . From the receptionist to therapist, I will recommend this center to anyone. I had seen Psychologist Dr. Ana Garcia for six months, for individual therapy- myself, she is very good, well knowledge on type of treatment that you might need, she is compassionate ,have patience and very professional. I will absolutely recommend her. Still going on couple therapy with Andrew Wynn since June 2022, he is very Knowledgeable , kind and professional, I will recommend him too with not doubt. The automatic charge-withdraw form billing department , works fine for me, I just check my bank account one every weekend, like always. Overall is a great place to get mental health help.

This place saved my life. Plain and simple. I just left in late October 2025.
And just like any AA / NA meeting, rehab requires action and work. RCA might not be a Malibu Passages (which rehab isn’t suppose to be some fantasy, sleep and get massages all day land) but they helped me crack the code in how not to give up, bc I wanted to and I was tired.
But the experience I had, leaning into it and embracing it? Yeah, I got so much from this place. Family. Friends. Knowing I’m not alone. It’s huge.
So thank you RCA.
And a massive shoutout to Pastor Ken. I could not have asked for a better therapist who just knew how to help me, I can’t explain it. Bridget, my Case Manager has a bigger heart than I thought was possible to have; Brittany, Marcus and Tammy (3 of the staff whom I was really counting on being there, and they were! I owe them so much)
And Ms. Sherry T….Ms. Sherry is a damn godsend to the patients. One of the greatest human beings I’ve ever met and will ever know. ❤️❤️
And Tai, (I think that’s how you spell her name) in the cafeteria. She defines what pure joy and just happiness is when you think it’s all but lost.

The IAFF Center of Excellence Saved my life . The Staff, BHT's, Therapist, Doctors, Cooks, and even the cleaning crew are also nice. Everyone and I mean everyone is there to help you. I tell people I had to travel all the way to Maryland to find Brotherhood. I made so many friends and about six of us comunicate with each other every day . The center gave me my smile back. It had been missing for so many years and I went from (AJ) Angry Joe to (HJ)Happy Joe. I have also quit Drinking which I never thought I could do . and I have been sober over a year. My wife says She has her old Joe back . She is so thankful for the Center of excellence that it gave her husband back . My kids cant believe how much I smile and how much fun I am to be around. My husband suffered PTSD for many years. It was left undiagnosed and mistreated for a long period of time. It took a lot of trials and tribulations for him and the loved ones involved, especially with me being I was the closest one to him and was susceptible to his symptoms. I also started picking up his symptoms, like I was suffering from it as well. Kinda like second-hand smoking. tHe went to a couple of recovery center which did not help him at all. But when he went to the IAFF COE, it was like a switch was turned on. It took a while for the treatment to really take effect or to see any results. But he made it through. I can't begin to express the gratefulness the family has. I wish I would have found a way for him to get there sooner and start his treatment. I was following the center since the beginning. But things happen a reason. When the day came that he was ready to feel alive again, you all helped him find his life again. I am now also finally starting my healing process.

I was there for a while it cost me to accept my problem but they help me a lot. I achieved a new life thanks the rehabilitation.

I've been going here for 6months and before that I was at the VA. There's a few differences between them both but most of all I can tell the Care. I have had 2 Counselors which is understandable considering the work load they have. Since the begining I have been happy and impressed how easy they made my transferring. I started just where I left off at the VA.The only thing I don't agree with or understand is when getting an increase u have to pick up for 3days before getting ur tak homes. I can understand this policy when u a starting out. But it doesn't make much sense after that. I can also say when there was a problem with my pick up (ther Mistake) my councler fixed and had all my bottles in 30mins. All I can say is If u work the program it works. Thank you

I love my counselor here at Pinnacle treatment center FCCR Radford. I feely counselor Lauren is amazing she's does everything she can possibly do for. Shes supplies me with wonderful advice, wonderful resources and everything else a counselor should do. My panic attacks got to such a bad point that she gave me her cell phone number in case I need to message or call when I need her. FCCR RADFORD SAVED MY LIFE!!!

This is the only MAT program clinicnive ever been to but they have been amazing. If you are serious about your recovery they most definitely are going to help you. I've had a couple friends go to other clinics and from what was said FCCR is more strict and that's so important. Especially if you are serious about your recovery and do really want to better yourself and your life. The office staff is amazing there. The nurses are wonderful. I've had 3 different counselors due to 2 of them moving on to better their lives, but every counselor I have had has been wonderful. Very helpful. Easy to talk to. Thank you FCCR for being there and helping me better myself and my life. "It works if you work it"
