However, when things got bad enough and I was willing to change, The Golden Rule taught me how to act like an adult and be responsible. They aren't going to put up with old behavior and I needed a place where I couldn't manipulate my way through. This place is hard work, but it works if you put in effort and give it a chance! And that’s why they both have completely full caseloads!!!💥 I also want to recognize the best nurse there, Mrs Sonja and Mrs Poole does an amazing job as the Director and always goes to bat for all her patients, these women are the reason I’ve maintained sobriety.! Mrs Ernestine is the sweetest person ever I don’t know the new employees yet enough to speak on them. But we will get there Promise is the new guy and he’s super cool to. But I’ll be honest loosing Patrick and Tawanna has really made me miss my past counselors they were amazing and I still can reach out to them if I need to there amazing!! Ik so lucky I had someone like Brittany come in and be tye counselors I could lean in along with Mrs Kay I k is I can run to there office and it’s my safe place I can let out the truth about wanting to use and they always take the time to talk me down and make sure I’m 100x better than when I walked in! I’m probably the sickest one there so I k is I need a lot of attention and they go above and beyond every single time. Ms Williams helps you with your insurance so patiently and makes sure you have a plan that you can afford. And they allow you to grow and make your own desicions as far as if you think your ready to begin to a point where you are ready to ween yourself because they know that's the only way we as addicts are gonna make it without having to start all over again addiction to herion and pills is a hard thing to over come on your own and it has cured me of my herion addiction it's taken them cravings and the people along with it has gave me the drive to stay with it I haven't ever succeeded at this disease of addiction yet and I've been suffering off and on since I was 13 without any success until now it's been almost a year and I have made so many improvements in my life and I've had people around me who have noticed the difference in me as well I just inspire to do better and better when I never kept the assent I've thus far like I said it's going on a year now and I have no desire to go back to herion thank yall so much I love yall and I hate to see anything bad said about yall because I feel yall are godsent for me as a herion addict yall have helped change my life I love yall more then you know.... I cannot believe there would be one single bad post about these compassionate people but that's how it is your always gonna have that one or two that didn't want to make it and wanted to not get better and wanting to blame someone else for them not trying to do better..... This is the first time I've ever opened up to a counselor. It doesn't feel like a doctor's office everyone there makes you feel like family. I travel 90 miles round trip to go there, and wouldn't go anywhere else!!! I HIGHLY recommend New Pointe Treatment Center! The best part, there not judgemental which is awesome as a addict!! They really care about you and they . help you in your walk to recovery .and they got your back. .i been to other treatment centers here in macon like G...A and they all about the money and the people that own the place are very rude also they bring dogs in the place and let them run everywhere while you are in there . thats just nasty and if you miss a day going to the center this nutt still charges you for the does that you dont receive .like i said trinity treatment is the best they treat you like you are someboby .thats where i going to go. Downsides are the fact you cant even see outdoors and the meals are pretty bad except for the desserts. That says a lot considering i dont really like sweets.
