The staff we have is great. I love our manager, Keisha and Julie and they do a great job of welcoming new people and making everyone who have been there still feel important as well. Day in and day out everyone has a great attitude and willingness to help. With such a high turnover rate If it were up to me I would make sure everyone got a raise and was based off of what they feel like they should deserve to be getting because whatever that number would be they have gone way over and above to make BHG feel like home even down to the decorations. It doesn’t makes sense to me in a day where no one has work ethic or desire to work and high turnover rates that you get good work who wants to be there and not compensate them for that. Everyone we have at this facility needs to be compensated for their time and effort and on making a choice to stay and put in the work and not constantly disown us and leave which as an addict consistency is something we need and when there’s turnover we feel it too. If we are truly cared about and this is a company that is truly trying to help in recovery we need to make sure we’re all getting the help we need and that also obviously includes the great team who makes it all possible and we don’t want to lose them! From the counsel you get to the ladies in the dosing room they’re all grade A ladies. They always greet you with a smile and a “how are you”. They never make you feel like a number. We all became close as we were being cared for and introduced to recovery and safety from drugs and alcohol and the outside conditions we were experiencing. The staff was so attentive and helpful and were always on time with our treatment and medical needs. Each specialist and therapist and nurse became a comfort and a friend of mine . They have a fantastic receptionist named Lee Anne who is super friendly and who goes out of her way to help clients. I also want to make a shout-out to their friendly phlebotomist "Sunshine" who is always smiling, their friendly transportation drivers, their wonderful kitchen crew, and their peer support staff! My only complaints are being given a 50mg prescription pill when my prescription was actually for 12.5mg daily, a dangerous mistake by one of their nurses (some of whom are traveling nurses from locations such as Indiana), and receiving a potentially false diagnosis from blood work that had to be repeated and still ended with conflicting medical interpretations. The nurse practitioner Tammy, for example, said no, but one of the nurses, Emma, said yes. Do I have it, or don't I?! This facility would get a perfect score if some of its medical team were competent and ethical. Otherwise, an excellent place!!! Ronald C. That doesn’t apply to every single staff member, but overall I felt supported during a really difficult time. Outpatient was even better. I did Adolescent PHP with Cailie (I hope I’m spelling that right), and she was amazing. She always made sure every adolescent was safe, and she helped me feel comfortable speaking up even when other people were around. She’s now my one‑on‑one therapist too, and I’m really grateful for her. All of the outpatient staff made me feel good about getting help, and that made a huge difference for me. The pharmacy has been most helpful. Community Services has been very responsive. When you walk down the hallway at Rex VA. Your brothers and sisters always are kind.
