I’ve had an incredibly positive experience with my mental health provider - Jessica Otero. She is genuinely one of the most understanding, compassionate, and supportive professionals I’ve ever worked with. She takes the time to listen without judgment and always makes me feel heard and valued. Her ability to explain things clearly and guide me through difficult moments has made a tremendous difference in my progress and overall well-being.
The staff at the outpatient clinic are equally wonderful. They are always welcoming, patient, and kind—from scheduling appointments to checking in, they make the entire process smooth and comfortable. You can truly feel that everyone here cares about the people they serve.
I am deeply grateful for the quality of care I’ve received. I would highly recommend this provider and her team to anyone seeking a positive, supportive environment for their mental health journey.

Therefore there are rules. These rules like curfew, money management and mandatory AA/ NA/CA meeting attendance all help to keep you sober and alive. Those who have written negative reviews havent followed the rules. If the owner were to be lenient on rules, this program wouldnt work. Addicts without structure relapse,and potentially die. The phone calls are to make sure you are doing your chores, going to your meetings, and she is also checking in on you
because she cares and wants you to get clean. When you enter the program, he is very clear that if you do not follow the rules you will be kicked out, without a refund.

The great part about this place, small and intimate, and lives up to its motto, if you looking for recovery. I have went to several places struggling to find my own way in recovery those places didn’t work for me many are not showing you what you need to do to recover or get recovery. My psychiatrist recommended Suncloud because I was going through a really tough time in my life. I was hesitant because I was at another treatment facility and didn't have a great experience. I was pleasantly surprised when I came to Suncloud because the staff were all so kind and genuinely cared about helping you. Their process groups can be tough but are so helpful in working through your trauma. It's been a year now since I started treatment and I can confidently say that I learned the skills and created an amazing support group that have helped me be in such a better place. Even after you're out of treatment, they have an awesome alumni group with plenty of opportunities to connect with others that have gone through similar things. I highly recommend Suncloud.

This place turned my life around although some people were there using it as a shelter what they were doing was none of my business at that time because the focus was on me. Some questions I have if anyone is kind enough to please answer them for me:
1. Can she bring in a vape pen? (Tobacco)
2. How do phone calls go?
3. How does visiting go? If I don’t have an ID, can I be denied entry?
4. Any helpful advice you have for me to help her adjust when she gets back home?
5. Any tips/ insider info you could give me to tell her to help her stay be more comfortable?!
6. What’s one thing you wish you brought to treatment but forgot? Anything you suggest to bring??
7. In terms of female counselors, is there one who stands out as the best?

I went to gateway rehabilitation and the food was good. But the best part of my experience was my counselor. Virginia Garcia was absolutely fabulous. She went above and beyond her duty for me. She made me feel at ease and answered all my questions. She is lovely and kind. Ty Virginia.

This facility is just amazing! Truly felt like everyone cared about me, and I can honestly say I trusted everyone in there. Trust is very hard for me, but the adult program and the staff allowed me to be myself with no judgement. I'm trying so hard to follow the rules and not name any staff but will give a broad review. Right when you walk in the staff is friendly, always smiling which in turn made me smile. The supervisor is amazing; the head of the counselors who leads the group therapy is one of the best people I ever met. The staff that lead the groups cared about me, and it was genuine, and they are so smart and fun. From the psychiatrist to my therapist everyone was on the same page. I just want to say thank you to everyone there from the bottom of my heart!

When I first came to Care Addiction Center, I’ll be honest, I arrived pretty much kicking, screaming and non compliant. I was in a very dark place, but what I found was an organization filled with people who truly care from my counslers Alice and Tori, to my fellow Group members . From the moment I walked in, everyone was accepting, kind, and understanding.
Even when circumstances were working against me, like my insurance trying to force me to go elsewhere despite the clear progress I was making, the staff never gave up on me. Matt, who is genuinely dedicated to helping people heal, reassured me not to worry and even offered me a scholarship to continue. His only concern was that I continued to get better.
The compassion and support I experienced at Care made all the difference, and I am deeply grateful. The care addiction center is a Life changing, Life saving orginization.

This was my first attempt at asking for help for my alcoholism
after 5 decades of drinking. This program is excellent , the counselors are the best at explaining our disease and giving us the tools and knowledge to live a life of sobriety. The manager of Care Addiction is always their to answer any questions or concerns you may have. I definitely suggest this program if you are having issues with addiction to drugs or alcohol. They will
sincerely help you and if I can do it there is definite hope for you.
I must add the key to becoming sober is listen to the counselors ,
do what they ask of you and I promise you will be on the road to sobriety! And it is a wonderful feeling and life is awesome!

I like the Rosecrance program a lot but I LOVE Dominique and Steve. They balance compassion and support with an expectation of responsibility and accountability which is making my recovery successful. This is the first program that makes me feel like i want to and CAN stay sober for the long haul

The outpatient program at Rosecrance has been invaluable to my recovery. Dominique demonstrates an authentic commitment to helping me, and others in the group, maintain our sobriety. Whether it is through therapeutic programming, providing resources to enable our recovery, or just simply by helping navigate confusing financial aid forms, she is all in and wants to see her clients succeed. When Steve has had to fill in, on days Dominique was not here, he did the same. They both really just seem to care…but also hold you accountable if you are not helping yourself. The culture of this program has allowed me the opportunity to really get to know other clients in this programs as well. The friendships I have developed here will stay in my heart forever.

This was our first time experience in this hospital. We were treated very nice by all the staff. They were very helpful. The rooms and hospital is very clean... ER doctors saved my husband's life... very, very thankful for all of them. Such a transformative experience! Naturally, the reviews you read for addiction treatment centers are going to skew negative but don't let that deter you if you believe you need help. Not only did I have an amazing experience with staff, I've built a strong foundation of community among my peers who were also seeking treatment. While encouraged by their use of an evidenced-based model, the incorporation of the 12-steps had me skeptical at first but now I'm fully committed. If you feel the 12 steps aren't for you, they also provide information about alternatives such as SMART Recovery and Recovery Dharma. My one complaint would be that I had chosen to participate in the in-person IOP during intake, but was somehow placed into the virtual IOP. Once it was recognized it was a quick fix and it didn't impact my start date or anything like that.

This place is basically a homeless shelter. Me and approximately 5 to 10 other people, ( out of about 80) in the facility had a place to live. Most everyone there is either on social security or social security disability and therefore their insurance is Medicare. Medicare will pay for 190 lifetime days in a facility such as this so there is alot of patients who come in 2 to 3 to sometimes 4 times a year staying on average 30 days at a time and burning up there lifetime days to so that they can go back out when their check hits the bank and do it all over again. There is only 2 classes a day that last for 45 minutes. Which they basically just read off a paper printed off the internet. Any patient could do that. 2 recreational therapy a day that last for 45 minutes also and you also. Have a choice of an na or AA meeting at night. That's basically it. The food is horrible and everything is generic. If your going there for drug and alcohol treatment do not come here.

It's basically a homeless shelter(psyche ward). I was only one of a few patients out of 80 that actually had a place to live. Most patients are there till they get their social security checks and they leave blow through there money and then come back to the facilityand do it again. Do not go there if you seriously want to change your life. I couldn't wait to go home. Btw I'm clean and sober and am serious about being on the right path. If you want real change dont go there.

I was assured over a telephone conversation with a lady named Jennifer that they could meet my needs 100%. Well, as it turns out that was false. first off the AA meetings is run by whom ever from the clients (Blind Leading the Blind). They had no true structured AA groups---and NO 12 Step Books to study from. The whole AA was a big joke!
In one week there were fights among clients and other altercation(s) on average of 2-5 times per day.
There were never any quiet moments to relax and unwind because of the loudness and disruptions coming from clients throughout the complex.
The staff was of little to none in controlling the disruptive clients and more or less turned a blind eye and closed ear to the negative environment with in the entire complex.

Entered with a high level of apprehension, low expectations and uncertainty. My experience here exceeded my expectations. The group of individuals and the process help build a very stable foundation for me. The psi leadership group st all levels weee outstanding. While the results are yet to unfold I left a better person and a solid vision of the future my group associates many have continued the connection through our journey.

Been going to Family Guidance for awhile now and I absolutely recommend this methadone clinic to anyone struggling with opiate addiction. The staff are mostly friendly and it's easy to get into the clinic within a day or two. Once you get to the correct methadone dose the dope sickness is mostly gone and then you can slowly get back to a normal life. I've had a few counselors since going here and all were nice and professional but my current one Gary is Awesome. He seems to really care and is always helpful. I would most likely be dead if I didn't sign up at Family Guidance. If you're looking for a way to stop using dope give this clinic a try.

Gave birth to my son 6 days ago, we were discharged 2 days after he was born and told he needed a follow up check on his bilirubin level within the next couple days. The doctor told us there would be an order put in and we would recieve a call to come in as well. We decided to go for the follow up on our own because we had not recieved the call yet, only to be told there was no order put in for that so there was nothing for them to do for us. Went to his first appointment with his primary where they proceeded to send us to Morris ER, where he was then life flighted to Lurie's Children hospital because his bilirubin level was now at a life threatening level. I will never take my children to OSF in Ottawa again. The real kicker is, they called us the morning after our son was life flighted telling us they have the order for his bilirubin check. Never had a problem until now but this was far from a slight inconvenience. This could have killed our child.

NEVER EVER COME HERE. I stayed overnight here from being transferred from another hospital and when I woke up got vitals and blood done and took medicine but after that they took forever to come into the room and barley checked on me, it took them 30 minutes to answer when I pressed the call button. So I had to wait hours for the GI doctor to see me and when she finally came in she only asked why I was there then just said that she was staying out of it and not going to do anything. Then I had to wait for the paperwork and my nurse or CNA wouldn’t come in, someone different came in took my IV out, brought a form for me to sign saying I was refusing treatment, when the only thing I received was nausea medicine. I was then told if I signed the form refusing treatment my insurance wouldn’t cover it, even tho I never received any treatment besides the 2 nausea pills I took and my insurance answered faster than someone there could get me paperwork to leave. I had to wait forever to get my diet changed to eat, and it took a while for them to even call in medicine to the pharmacy. I am very disappointed with the lack of patient care considering I had to wait for 30 minutes for my call light to be answered. And I feel uncomfortable considering a patient with an id braclet and an iv in came into my room asking me for a cigarette. Very disappointed, and I would give zero stars if I could.

I was in Suncloud’s Residential, PHP, and IOP program for 5 months and it changed the course of my life. When I went in I was suffering from anxiety, depression, severe substance abuse, grief, and trauma. Today I am 5 months sober from alcohol, weed, marijuana, and nicotine, I’m enrolled in school, go to the gym, and am working towards my career. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life but I’m thankful I put in the work and showed up everyday. If you are a parent reading this, I know how hard it can be when your child struggles with anxiety or depression or any mental health issues. Looking into a PHP or IOP program is never on a parent’s expected list of experiences they think they will have with their child. However, I truly have so much gratitude for all they did for my daughter, and the support they also provided to me during family therapy. They are currently as i type this forcing a 2 week old child to be trapped in a car for over 3 hours at this point. Knowingly at that. Would never seek treatment through this place as a parent. I've never seen a public ran place commit child abuse in this manner and will be reporting them.

Being at Banyan has been an absolutely transformative experience to say the least. My recovery journey from where I started before Banyan to where I am now after Banyan has been a complete 360, and I owe it to the staff and the knowledge that Banyan provided me. Amanda, Payton, Maggie, Alexis, and Mike are the best recovery counselors I've ever worked with before, and its been a privilege to work with and learn from such state of the art individuals. I'm actually heartbroken to be leaving this program, because their help has been so impactful. I look forward to going to Banyan Alumi meetings in the future, and I want to say a big thank you to all those who helped me along my journey to recovery.

Im on day 5 of a jury trial. I've been a patient for 4 years. I went from 16mg down to 1mg. I haven't touched an opiate since Dec of 2021.
Today, God forbid, I come in on a schefuled appointment, a day early, on a month prescription. Why? Because I happened to run out 24 hours early due to difficulties weening off subs. Something that a doctor would likely expect and appreciate.

I don't want special treatment. However, if you're going to play a petty game, have the guts to say it to my face.

I continue to trust Symetria staff with my life and have not been disappointed. I did not show up for a few days because I was sick….the staff there called me every day until I answered, and they got me to come back in for my treatment and back on track. It is rare to find people who truly care about you as an individual, Symetria is one of the rare companies with people who care.
