It's been so long since I've been here. I can't even remember the names however I do remember one name and that was John in intake. I am tremendously grateful for John. He was so sweet, caring and hospitable! There were a few others in the nurse department as well that were just so sweet. Grateful to be able to leave a review. I got 4 years sober!

Overall, my experience at Gateway Chicago was exceptional and overwhelmingly positive. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with dignity, respect, and genuine compassion. The food was good, the staff was outstanding, and my counselor, Nate, was incredibly helpful throughout my stay. Supervisor Herb is highly professional and, as he often says, he "gets things done" for the clients—a statement I personally witnessed time and time again. His leadership has had a tremendous impact on the men's unit, and he deserves recognition for creating an environment where clients feel supported, respected, and encouraged to succeed. I would also like to recognize Mike, Muhammad, Kenny, Kevin, Richard, Eva, Prentice, Katelyn, China, Mr. B, and Dale. Dale's classes are engaging, informative, and inspiring, and his passion for recovery is evident in every interaction he has with clients. Every one of these staff members demonstrated professionalism, compassion, patience, and dedication. They treated not only me but every client with kindness and respect, making recovery feel possible and giving people hope during one of the most difficult times in their lives. Gateway Chicago, located at 3828 West Taylor Street, Chicago, Illinois 60624, did far more than provide substance abuse treatment—it helped bring sanity, clarity, and serenity back into my life. The staff consistently went above and beyond to accommodate my needs and the needs of others. I witnessed countless acts of generosity and compassion. For example, today the facility distributed an abundance of quality clothing to clients. Priority was given to those who arrived with nothing, and after everyone in need was taken care of, there were still enough clothes for others. It was just one of many examples of how Gateway genuinely cares about the people they serve. The facility itself is clean and well maintained. The beds are comfortable, clients receive three meals a day along with a snack, and the overall atmosphere promotes healing and recovery. While anyone can find something to criticize about any organization, I found very few, if any, faults with Gateway Chicago. My overall experience exceeded my expectations. I am sincerely grateful to the ownership, the corporate leadership, and every member of the staff for the hard work, compassion, passion, and dedication they show every day to individuals seeking recovery. Most importantly, I am grateful that Gateway helped me regain peace of mind, hope for the future, and the serenity I had been missing for so long. I wholeheartedly recommend Gateway Chicago to anyone seeking treatment. Their commitment to helping people rebuild their lives is evident in everything they do, and I will always be thankful for the care and support I received there.

Great place to go and have some good staff members. So thankful for the experience and gateway fot saving my life. Highly recommended. Some people come just to get a certificate. I came and earned mine with all the knowledge they had. So thankful to this program. I was hesitant at first but glad I came into the program.

Most grateful for this treatment center on my 7th anniversary sober from alcohol. The seeds Hazeldon planted saved my life! Shame on whoever is letting Susan Nice run meetings out of your building. She let a stranger stroke my leg her entire meeting and never stopped it once. Had the audacity to ask if it was my boyfriend after. Knowing I live with PTSD from abuse being my longtime 'godsponsor'. She just spoke at the Canada opening. How are you letting someone so detached from reality speak to those in need of help? How many meetings has she been to? Her suggestions along with Laura Ws (whos Mom works with congress scary enough) and the ladies of AA in particular are reckless. Suggested I do my first lead of life and didnt show up. How many woman have you sponsored Laura? You suggested more fellowship and ditched me at my first AA dance. 2 ladies came to Windy City Church women's big book meeting on Mondays and felt so shamed the went home and killed themselves. Those ladies made me feel the same but I refuse to kill myself though your careless suggestions made me feel like I should. The ladies in AA arent doctors. Thanks for being professionals Hazeldon. Alano clubs are hot spots for gossip that's ruining lives. Grateful to be alive and sober. Thanks for starting my journey with me 14 years ago! Great experience got my classes done at the convenience of my home wpuld definitely recommend this option over any others first!

Henderson house really helped me to get to the next step in life, it has in house meetings, clean , friendly environment and the staff has been very helpful I’d recommend if you need a sober living house this a great start. Good luck on your new way to live.

I'm fairly new to getting regular healthcare from the VA but from my experiences so far I have had nothing but very good care and positive interactions, especially from the nurses and people at the front desk! Everyone is doing the best they can given how many veterans come and go throughout the hospital every single day. A little patience goes a long way when receiving determining the best care possible for every individual.

I have not had any problems at Hines. They have treated my with courtesy and patience. Had dental work, foot work ( removing toenails) , and other conditions. They have been pretty special to this Vietnam vet.

I feel like VIP when I get my services. This is my first year using my VA medical benefits. I usually go to a private provider. However, my private PCP retired. This gave me an opportunity to try out the VA. I was apprehensive because I would hear negative reviews.

Kediz house is so amazing the staff treat you with respect (Ms Debra) Mrs (Monet) and the supervisor (MR Eddie )and (MS Karen)( Ms Patricia )Ms Judy)are very down to earth.. the only thing the staff asked for you to be very serious about your recovery plan and I love their structure at this place drugs tested is every day and housing is available if u serious about your business and the food is good if chef Wayne cook 10⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Like many hospitals today, the ER wait was torture. It took 6 hours to get in, and I was admitted and stayed for two days. Even though the ER had no available beds, they kept me moving through the system. Blood tests, medications, necessary scans, etc. Once I got a room, the doctor was able to immediately start treating me. Due to the kindness of the staff and the care I received, I would do that wait again. This is the way medical care used to be 10 years ago, when you felt like the staff cared. The employees from registration, housekeeping, and those wonderful nurses and doctors are top-notch. Their reviews say it all. Most hospitals nowadays barely get 3 stars, let alone 4.5 stars. About a year prior to this ER visit, I switched our family physician to Dr. Cash out of UChicago. Just an outstanding, kind man with wonderful staff who truly care about you. Hats off UChicago for bringing back caring medical teams.

They were very caring, gentle, understanding, comforting all of the above. I would love to have both of them as my nurses again in the future .

I heard about this facility from a friend and I decided to give it a try. The program works really well if you put in the work. The food is great and the staff hold you accountable, the facility could be a little bit cleaner but with one cleaning lady who puts in a lot of work what do you expect.This facility makes you feel like you will be ready to get out there on your own and succeed on your recovery journey.

I can't stand the negative reviews. YES I WAS THERE. Six months ago, I almost didn't stay but I did. Such incredible staff and an incredible program. Met some of the greatest people to ever want to change their life around. Residential was amazing. PHP also an incredible program attended both with full support from all staff and peers. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND RECOVERY WORKS TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO BETTER THEMSELVES.

The Joliet Symetria location saved my life!! What a great bunch of people!! They work with you, and guide you through everything!! Heck Tonette even got me an Uber one time because my car was broke down and I was going to miss my dosing. I know I have heard good and bad about Symetria but this location (Joliet) goes out of their way to make sure patients and good. I love them so much (NO JOKE THESE PEOPLE AT SYMETRIA (Joliet) are amazing. Thank you Tonette, Zoe, Erin, Maria & Debra, Elsa & Kim. You ladies are the light of my life. I love you all!!!

I really like the help I receive from the Symetria staff here. Especially Maria and Erin, they are very down to earth and caring.

Been going to Family Guidance for awhile now and I absolutely recommend this methadone clinic to anyone struggling with opiate addiction. The staff are mostly friendly and it's easy to get into the clinic within a day or two. Once you get to the correct methadone dose the dope sickness is mostly gone and then you can slowly get back to a normal life. I've had a few counselors since going here and all were nice and professional but my current one Gary is Awesome. He seems to really care and is always helpful. I would most likely be dead if I didn't sign up at Family Guidance. If you're looking for a way to stop using dope give this clinic a try.

Awsome staff I just love RACHEL the lady that takes numbers at the desk and my case worker Gary is amazing I strongly suggest anyone trying to get off drugs to contact them it might just save ur life....

I see a lot of negative reviews on here and my experience might have been different due to my age (late 30s). I wanted to be at TK. I didn't have someone make the decision for me, although my husband was very supportive. Out of all the staff, there were only 2 I didn't like. Not that they were bad, just a clash with our personalities. I have epilepsy, it's chronic and active. I had to go home to have surgery (a replacement battery for the device that helps control my seizures). I was gone for about 36 hours. The staff was great with my seizures and with my surgery. I thought I was going to need to go back when my husband passed away, but I made it through. A lot of that I can credit TK with for giving me the tools to work with. The only problem I really had was leaving. Leaving was terrifying because that safety net just vanished. That is one thing I think the staff needs to prepare you a bit better for. I've been healthy since leaving. Sure, I still get the feelings/urges on occasion but I created my own safety net. I can control the urges. I'm actually rather proud of myself. PS - If any of the former staff ever reads this "Meany Mo-Mo" you know who you are. Thank you, for all you did. Your patience, your help, and just being there when I needed it. You literally are the best. <3

PSI saved my life. The people here not only helped me want to live a healthier life, but they also helped me find my voice again. This was my second IOP program and honestly the service and care that I received was on a completely different level. Mike Geraci is one of the best therapists I've ever had the pleasure of working with. PSI and Mike went above and beyond for me and my peers to make sure that we finished the program ready to jump back into our lives. I also spent time and stayed at the sober living apartments through PSI and would highly recommend this choice. The apartment was comfortable and in a great location. I also met some of my best friends here and made lasting friendships. I am forever grateful to PSI. Thank you again for everything!
