I could not find anywhere that could get me in to see a councilor till a friend of mine who goes here recommended me. I called and had an appointment the next day after being on countless wait lists other places. By far the friendliest and caring staff I have ever experienced and I’ve been to many places trying to find a place I am comfortable with. I will make the hour and 5 minute drive to this place so worth it! Thank you so much!

Couselers are all wonderful. Dr Pittman is very friendly and listens to paitents. He took time to explain the diagnosis and the best treatment pla . Very happy with all the staff!

Soon as i walked in i was very comfortable.The staff there was very friendly they made me feel like I was at home. The lady at the front desk was funny and cute.The intake lady was also nice and very understanding.

I went to Addicts Victorious in 2014. It was a mfour day intensive conference in which we were bathed in Scripture for about 8 hours per day. It changed my life. I am eternally grateful for the care and counseling I recieved there. I was delivered from alcohol and no turning back.

I have been going to this Clinic for a year now. I had heard horror stories about the VA/ have a few medical horror stories from active duty of my own, so I was anxious about what it would be like. I have always been pleasantly surprised in all of my interactions with them. The professionalism, efficiency, and friendliness of the staff is unparalleled.

The people there are always courteous respectful and helpful there are times I’ve had to wait but that’s no different than any other medical facility that I use. I really appreciate having a facility like this that is close to my home Thanks to everyone that works there.

I've been going since January and have had a great experience with the people and the clinic as a whole. My 1st day (intake) wasn't a painful drawn out process. They were All professional and on point with each level of the appointment and best of all I got to dose and got take home doses for the weekend the very next day when I came back for my second dose. I'm still going strong and SOBER (NO DOPE❣️) Thx so much for helping me

It’s not easy to get to this location on public transportation. However the extended hours make it more convenient than most states that close doors by 11am. The fact that this clinic uses mouth swabs to test ending the humiliating practice of observed UAs is what sets this clinic above the rest. If you do what you need to raise your privilege level to take home 2weeks to 30 days you won’t have to deal with the wait and chaos of others.

SECURITY NEEDS TO BE IMPROVED July 4th Update: security has improved drastically. Feels safer. Much better place to be. Thank you all who had a hand in fixing that issue when brought to the light. This place helped SAVE MY LIFE. I showed up one day, joking ..is never get sober....I am standing here ...proof that if you do the work ..change is possible...I wouldn't have been able to do it without my father (R.I.P) MY AMAZING COUNSELOR OLIVIA.... MY SUPPORT SYSTEM... I CAME IN AND I NEVER LOOKED BACK...THERE ARE GOING TO BE HARD DAYS, BUT THEY WILL HELP TO TEACH YOU HOW TO GET THRU THEM EASIER....AND TO HELP YOU LEARN HOW TO STOP CLOCK WATCHING....THEY HAVE RESOURCES GALORE! IF YOU WANT A PLACE TO GO, THAT WILL ACTUALLY TRY AND HELP YOU...CFLS IS YOUR PLACE.... I GIVE 10/10 100 STARS 🤩 there has been bad days or situations there but things happen everywhere. They ensure the safety of their clients, they practice strong security measures to make sure everyone has safe and fair treatment. And most importantly...THEY CARE ! This staff loves their clients. I can't speak for everyone. But I've seen the results of this place. Many lives have changed thanks to CFLS ...THE CENTER FOR SECOND CHANCES

I had a great experience at Centrec care. Fighting alcoholism was very tough on my own and Centrec care taught me the tools and coping skills I needed to strive and thrive in life. After only 4 months of IOP I was able to kick drinking and have been sober for 5 months. I recommend this place for a great community and people you can trust! No complaints

Staff is great except the doctor. He thinks he knows your body better than you. Blind dosing? How 1980s is this? He doesn’t know how strong fentanyl is. They won’t give you nearly enough. He won’t help you. Don’t waste your time.

I was a patient for 5 years attended many clinics in st Louis area all the way back to dart in '98 I've seen how they all are ran and it's the only place that's black owned and staffed there is not one white, Hispanic, Asian even the guard is blk one thing about it that separates it from other clinics is you hardly see your counselor after COVID it's just over the phone the doctor will not under any circumstances put you over 100mg even if you transfer they accept Medicaid and private pay you only go Mon thru Fri takes on Sat sun other clinics 7 days a week including holidays I left to go to the hospital for 9 months and when I was discharged they made up an excuse that I was taking narcotic pain meds witch I was titrated off of in the hospital they have zero tolerance for any pain meds if you take benzos they want you to jump through so many hoops you may have to stop all in all if you blk and Wana stop opioids this is your place

Chandler Emily and Mayra are absolutely amazing I'm so glad they were the ones to assist me. They made me feel very comfortable and you can tell they actually care about their job and the people they assist thanks again ladies I appreciate you more than you know.

The food was fantastic!! They have a very limited menu but the Biscuits and gravy, denver omelets and corned beef hash we're all delicious! Recommend eating here!

Mike is at the absolute top of his field. He is extremely knowledgeable about DUI treatment and the governing code. He is also very personable and truly committed to helping others.

Getting in was relatively easy. I told the dr I was having back pain and seemed to be getting worse, he told me to come back in a year for a check up. I stopped going to the va years ago for the same issues so we'll see if this clinic is any better.

They will wait till the week before to reschedule u a few months later scheduling doesent know what they are doing

Amazing! There is help and CRC is a part of it. I ain't going to sugar coat it. Nothing is for everyone. There was a lot of down time for me I struggled to fill. It could be different, but more importantly I should have done more. They showed me the beginning of recovery and I am very grateful for that. I found my first real sponsor being there and they were more than willing to accommodate to my S.M.A.R.T recovery program as well. They will help you. Thank you, CRC.

My son entered the program three (3) months ago and it has had nothing but positive effects on his life. He has struggled for many years and CRC is a great match for him. We are so grateful for the Center and the wonderful Staff. Thank you for all you do.

I really had a positive, uplifting experience with Countermeasures & Mz. Kim! I was able to be myself and freely talk about my experience with my DUI. Kim was very informative & made me realize things about myself I really didnt know. I admire her for facing such negativity from people on a daily basis. I seen first hand the angry, disgruntled people she had to deal with. But she got through it and did everything she could to help people get through the program successfully! Ten hats off to her & the program!

They have done an incredible job at Countermeasures, making sure everyone gets through the program and gets what they need to get done done. The instructor/director is firm but really wants you to succeed so please be patient with her when you are there. I have never met anyone else in my life that has wanted the people in those classes to succeed and get their lives back as much as she did. I can't thank her enough

Really didnt help. Was suppose to show how to live drug free. Didnt do that. Too many aa meetings. Didnt help if u dont drink. Rules applied to some not all. To much free time

Not entirely happy with the way they handled closing their business without formal procedures in place for handling client’s files. But for anyone looking to move their files from here to elsewhere, they had this posted on their door:

Some of the staff are extremely unreasonable and rude, but the counselors, and manager are amazing. The program helped me tremendously and my life is better than ever.

I just want to say that I came to this facility from out of town, because my state's wait lists were crazy! I successfully completed 60 days, and to this day I am 4 1/2 years sober. I credit New Leaf and the councilors that motivated me to build a better life. Each person's recovery is different, but it works if you work it!!

What I cherish the most about True North is the way they treated me. They always treated me with respect and courtesy. The therapist I had was THE BEST, super professional and caring. I felt like they helped me to improve a lot, and I know I am in a better place thanks to them.

The staff is EXTREMELY nice on the phone , makes me excited to group therapy. I haven't had an in person Visit yet, so far just my phone call/video to get ready for group therapy. It's nothing to be ashamed or afraid of. I look forward to it.
