I could not find anywhere that could get me in to see a councilor till a friend of mine who goes here recommended me. I called and had an appointment the next day after being on countless wait lists other places. By far the friendliest and caring staff I have ever experienced and I’ve been to many places trying to find a place I am comfortable with. I am blessed beyond words that a hospital case worker in Springfield knew about their residential facility and program and encouraged her application. I'm so grateful that the staff accepted my daughter into their program. After almost one year in the facility the change in my daughters behavior, lifestyle, attitude is 100% improved. Could not ask for a more welcoming, knowledgeable and EXPERIENCED backed program. Gateway Jacksonville's residential program is at the very top in every aspect. From the curriculum, structure for maximum opportunity, to the amazing dining and living corridors- Gateway takes the cake. Their 90 day sober living is such a blessing, and NOW insurance funded (before was still only $145/mo, which you don't find any place to rent that cheap as far as I'm concerned) but the best part is- EVERYTHING and ALL the help is still right here. Thank you to all involved to make this place so great.

My daughter came here after years of issues. Could not get her to stop hurting herself. We had one other residential school that she was in. This place is God sent. I see a major difference in her. I would recommend this school to any parent struggling with a child/teen. They work with you as well, weekly meetings. So you become part of the solution. For the first time in years I am hopeful for her to grow up and have a Normal life.

I have been going here for 2 years, for regular counseling and group therapy. I've been to other places, but this one really has been helping me. Not only are the counselors friendly and educated, but they are up on their resources as well. They gave me a book to read about what I was going through, they have reccommendations for jobs which is how I got my current job. They are really there to help you! But you have to want to help yourself as well.

Dr. Thirtala was amazing! She took her time, asked me questions to make sure she fully understood my concerns, then repeated the information I had shared with her back to me, all put together medically. She then laid out an easy to follow plan on how we are going to work to resolve our issues. I have had several bad experiences with doctors, and I believe Dr. Thirtala deserves public recognition so she can help others!

We were from out of town and my husband had fell with a head injury. The emergency room staff and women were incredible. They helped us, we did not wait long, and answered our many questions, especially with us being out of state. We appreciate them so much and how much they helped us today.

So glad this clinic moved here last year. It is less than a mile from my apartment. Steen group of employees, but efficient in their duties. If you make them laugh, they really loosen up. Just don’t grab at any candy on the counter within reach. They laugh, but it is an evil laugh, like your hand was theirs for desert. Like them all.

This place is great, people need to understand just because you decide to quit and seek help it doesn't mean people have to jump or you don't have to wait because you want it right that second. I joined concordance in May. I trusted the program completely. I needed 2nd chance housing and they provided me with information telling me" hey, here is your chance! You can afford this! Call this guy now!" So I call this guy, yes I have houses for you....so im thinking okay perfect right? I send the deposit to the guy and he says perfect I'll bring your keys and paperwork tomorrow morning. Well maybe you can all see where this is going....no call...blocked...reach out to concordance for help...."oh so sorry that happened...good luck...that guy has nothing to do with our program. " really, well why hand out his flyer like candy? Are they receiving kick backs? Reports made EVERYWHERE!!!!! GOOD LUCK! IF YOU GO HERE BEWARE OF SCAMS!!!!!!

I'll never forget the feeling that I had when I walked into gateway in Springfield il. I was in terrible condition. The moment I walked through the door I had an overwhelming feeling that I was going to be ok and I was just where I needed to be. Mr. James sits at the front door. He's the most polite, well mannered, welcoming, man I've ever met in my life. My heart was so happy to see him. Nicest man I've ever met. From there it just kept getting better. I met Josh Ronan. He truly cared about me. He made me feel like I belonged. I finally belong somewhere. And that is a feeling I can't describe. Then I met James on the men's unit. He is a thors hammer of a man. He was wonderful also. He made my heart happy. My counselor was Rhonda. She went above and beyond to help me with all my needs. I highly recommend gateway in Springfield il to any and all needing assistance. This place helped to save my life. They gave you all the tools you need to recover. But they also give you time to do the real work yourself. Thank you gateway. My heart belongs to you.

Beyond thankful for the support, care, and attention given to my loved one in treatment. They supported and encouraged him through heavy loss and lasting grief. His counselors and support staff were excellent. Nothing matched the energy and care that is shown from the moment you enter the door by James at the first desk.
