My experience here was phenomenal. I was really scared to go to a detox center but they made me feel so comfortable and it’s so cozy. The staff is phenomenal. I’d like to specifically shout out Bert and the nurse Eddie and Joey and Tiffany. Tiffany did my intake and she did a phenomenal job it wasn’t triggering the food. Here is fantastic. There’s a private chef and that’s it. Thank you so much.

It's a combination of all different departments of this program that were very helpful to me along the way into my new journey to a better way of life. At Clinical, Therapists put their heart into making sure to help you unlock what started it all, classes give you knowledge on your mental state, what brings you to your rock bottom or this sick cycle of addiction. Back at housing was surrounding yourself with the people who really want to get help and are not shy to sit down and share their stories with you and relate with you on different levels. Techs are down to earth so it makes it easier for you to vent what's going on with you at the moment but blunt /real enough to help you decompress and snap out of whatever you're going through at that moment. All staff genuinely want you to grow and live life on life terms and become who you were suppose to be without the use of drugs. Heidi is the Bomb! I love her to death, to see her be there for everyone. The heart she has for helping people in this fellowship and newcomers at Comfort is one of a kind! This place is very professional and confidential. I took my teenager daughter for addiction, depression and anxiety. Even though there is not magic solution and you have to work really hard at home, we improved a lot in communication and I learned a lot in the way. I came for hip surgery and this has been the best service i have ever had, and especially during my surgery . Ok, the communication can be poor when you have to call, some staff are not always as polite as the could be. But I came to Banyan at rock bottom, with nothing to compensate them. Today I am 1 year sober. I am still rebuilding my life, but without Banyan Healthcare MAT program I would be dead, in prison, or best case scenario, homeless.
The pharmacy staff are amazing. And Dr Jucandella helped me become an actual healthy person again. I am forever grateful to them.

I'm not a protected veteran but God sent me to this hospital last Sunday when I was struggling with suicidal thoughs, and I was lost in the middle of the night looking for the mental crisis emergency entrance. Long story short this hospital team saved my life and I will always appreciate that they did. Specially the brilliant psychiatrist resident Alexandra Coppa. She made me think about my wrong mindset and safe my life forever. Specially when I was at the Government center metrorail station with no place to go... Right now thanks to Los hermanos de la calle I'm save in Miami Beach and writing this review while I look at the sunset at the Marina and think of my coming challenges, and alive thanks to you. The last time I was admitted to a hospital was June 24,1966. 93rd medevac in Vietnam. Last week I had the pleasure of spending two days at WPB VA Hospital and two days at Miami VA Hospital. I really can not say enough about how great both these hospitals are. The staff at Miami is so friendly and professional but most of all they care. My nurses Ronald , Kelsey , and Yumi were always there. Ronald lent me his charger and was always joking. A whirlwind in and out of my room fixing problems. Kelsey explained everything to me and helped me to understand me understand the system along with a great sense of humor. The most patient person I have ever met with a great eye roll. Yumi helped me with the check out and was like a whirl wind constantly in and out of my room checking on me.
The doctors and nurses in the cardiac unit are very professional, friendly and really care. I really felt that it was going to be my time but the tests results were great. The room where they went up my veins is really cool. It is so organized and runs so smoothly they must practice. I had lost 1/4 of the blood in my body and was very weak. after being told I had no heart disease but just needed a valve replaced. It was really great to be awake listening to the procedure .
The nurse assistants are so caring and always there. The cleaning staff works so hard.
Thank you Miami VA hospital for having such outstanding employees who really care.

This is an amazing treatment center for treatment of mental health and/or substance abuse disorders. The staff is compassionate, hardworking, and extremely accommodating. Staff will go above and beyond for their “patients” that are treated like family and recovery is 100% possible if you do your part. I’d totally recommend this place for people who want to improve their lives, make better choices, or simply learn to connect with yourself again. There’s a holistic approach to treatment where you can attend yoga classes, tai-chi lessons, art therapy sessions, group/individual therapy, informative talks/discussions, and music therapy. Overall a great place that can definitely feel intimidating or controlling at first but it all makes sense once you understand that they are only trying to make you feel better.

Since day 1 this place has been the best for my son. The staff is very friendly and super nice 👌. They are definitely interested on his well being. Even when they used to have the small place on the first floor they were very clean and organized. I definitely recommend this place. My son had to change therapist because his first one had to leave this office but we were very pleased with her and we continue to be with his new therapist. I want to say thanks because you guys make the difference.
