You re probably thinking aw great he mentioned higher power this doesn t seem like the right fit for me. They do teach alternative treatment programs for gaining sobriety at green mountain treatment center as well. So if you aren t open to a higher power they will work with you to find a path that works for you and your individual needs. Make no mistake just like anything in life the journey is what YOU make of it. Great not for profit company thats 100% volunteer based company. They do a lot of great thing's in the community and for the community of York County. One of the amazing thing's they do is offer a Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Center free of charge to York County residents. They also offer a Men and Woman's Shelter in Alfred, ME. I cannot say enough good things about this place. They do an amazing job and I really hope they keep up the amazing job they do, do because they are truly the very BEST at all they do for the community and the people in York County. I'm happy to say I was once part of some of the things York County Shelter Program's do. They have forever changed my life for the very best and thats exactly what they aim to do is to better people and their lives. :)
