I stayed inpatient here back in 2018 and the people who worked here helped shape my recovery story today. I didn't realize it then because I was fresh off the street and detoxing but today I can say with much gratitude that its the people who care and work tirelessly to help the patients that make Hope House what it is.

I was very impressed with my experience here today! I read the reviews prior to going and it made me quite skeptical, but overall I would highly recommend this facility. I arrived a little after 11am and it wasn't busy in there at all. The young lady at the front desk was very polite and warmly greeted me as I walked in. She listened very well during the check in process. It took less than 10 minutes to be called back by the triage nurse and then I was immediately placed in a room. I had the pleasure of being serviced by the nurse Lorraine and I tell you she is an angel! Throughout my entire visit, she was so caring, attentive, and nurturing to the point where I felt like I was family. She made me feel at ease and continuously checked on me to make sure I was good. Lorraine provides the type of care that every patient would need! If I ever needed to return, I'd ask for her and only hope that she's there again! The doctor was amazing as well! Dr. Pierson was the ER doctor and he has such a welcoming personality! Very lively person and thoroughly explains everything to you giving much peace of mind. He was attentive to all of my concerns and made sure to have the appropriate testing done. I was in and out of there in about 2 hours! I've worked in healthcare for years and have also been to many facilities and this was one of the best experiences I've had. Great staff, clean facility, and overall comfortable environment. I highly recommend!

I stayed here for a month and it was a great experience. the staff was extremely helpful and caring. I never felt more tended to. The food was ok it was more the environment that helped relax me. They had the whole place being cleaned and it made me feel comfortable. The therapists were very encouraging and I feel like I couldn't have gotten to this place in my life without them. Program is better than what people tell you. You don’t realize how could you have it until you transfer to a different program. My name is Reginald Howard I have to say that Gaudenzia help save my life. Understand at the time I was admitted I wasn't in the best space when it came to mind set. I was newly released from jail and I knew in my mind that I had to do something different and I had been court ordered to at least attend a treatment facility. I called and was greeted by a lady that I like to refer as Miss Also Brooks she skillfully navigated me through the process of admission. Additionally I met the staff began the process and was able to work with them as they began supporting me through the recovery process. After observing them I realize that they were sincere about the recovery process and I began to draw from that experience all that I could so my life could be better. Additionally their zeal for life became contagious and my desire to help others was reawaken so I took some advice especially from my counselor who had recognize that I could assist others going through the same ordeal as I. After having a conversation with Mr Guy I was put on a path to further my education and began seeking opportunities in the field. I thank Gaudenzia for opening their doors and helping me help myself.

The freedom center has been one of the most significant positive events and powerful developmental changes in my life. Walking through the front doors i remember the welcome energy, the environment, everything felt weirdly right. Each group didn’t feel like a forced religious obligation, instead I began connecting with my sober self, enjoying my time, loving myself. All this is thanks 100% to the staff who weren’t just recovering addicts and alcoholics themselves, but were genuinely amazing and happy people. My counselor Brian from day 1 spoke to me on the same level and never above me, giving me the feeling of wanting to be open, and ultimately wanting to be here and feeling comfortable enough to find him when needed and let stuff out. During groups Federico talked to all of us on the realist level possible. Mary was beyond just an amazing group leader with interactive activities that kept me in touch with myself but from the moment I showed up seeing her going out of her way to make sure every client is okay and finding ways to take all this struggle and find joy and humor throughout it was one of the most inspiring things I’ve ever experienced in my entire time in rehab/recovery. To have the ability to find common ground with every single client including myself and make them feel at home purely with energy and outlook alone truly is one of a kind, especially when I’d see ones who wanted to and were about to leave and just talking with Mary just her saying a few words changing their decision without any forced approach. Ginina the bht was amazing from day 1 as well, outgoing, approachable, empathetic, truly such an incredibly nice person that I looked forward to seeing at the front every time I walked in the door. Looking out for me, asking about me, and being there for me and truly above n beyond. Casandra was wonderful too always connecting with me and making time for me even if I’m too much most of the time. She also has so much knowledge and have loved being able to connect with nutritional knowledge learning more and more every time I talk to her. While at the same time as well going above and beyond helping anyone on this recovery journey with no biased and true heart behind it all. These are just a few of the many staff that made my time here go from going through the motions to wanting to stay sober and being happy and find myself and love myself throughout. When I walk into the doors of the freedom center I can’t help but smile and feel happier than I’ve been in a long time, always looking forward to seeing all the best people waiting for me every single day, which if it weren’t for them, I can’t say my journey in sobriety would have gone down such a life changing and fulfilling path. The freedom center was my second chance I’m so grateful for getting, a new chapter, a new me, and thanks to even the higher ups like Corey and Kirby and Josh(who of which I will be forever grateful for everything he’s done for me) who are some of the best people ever to be running this center and just always being there for me on their own time, and making it possible to continue coming here helping with housing and employment and just overall proof of pure love throughout the entire center and revealing a community I hope never to leave.*(I also would like to note that Sydney was an amazing impact on me as well and even with less interaction than most always finds ways to help me and put a smile on my face while never failing to teach and guide me on this recovery path)**

I will rate Chrysalis House based on when I was there and when it was being ran by different staff and Mrs Carisaa was there. Other than that I can not speak for the program after Mrs. Carissa left. When I was there it was tough but it is what i needed. I have never been to a program that actually cared and literally internally got to me dug up some buried issues and I worked on them. Mrs. MELVINA was my counselor, she was amazing. Most of the staff had went through addiction. Mrs Denise was amazzziiinnggg i never felt uncomfortable, leaving my son with them during the day. The whole staff at that time was amazing. Yes, it was very strict, but they did it in a loving way because they did not want us to die. I know countless women
That graduated the Chrysalis House and are still clean. I have ten fifteen, close lifelong friends that I had met at Chrysalis and that are still clean to this day. I have never went to a treatment that had this much success. Like I said, I cannot speak for the new staff, but it sounds like it is still a great program.While I was there and before I left, they were building on the new addition which was beautiful.It was finished before I left but was not open yet. A woman and children's program is needed and I hope that this one is ran as good as it was when I was there.I'm sure it is. I felt so safe with my children. I'll forever be grateful for Mrs. Carissa and all the staff.

I was someone who stayed here for so time almost a year. I know you can't please everyone but they did try to. Most of the residential staff was wonderful very attentive to the clients needs. The two that I felt that went beyond their job was Simone and Melissa I felt very safe and comfortable w them and they are some of the most compassionate, caring staff I have come across I truly believe they are at their job not only for a paycheck but to help. From the moment I got on the phone with them, I felt like someone actually heard me . They didn’t push me or judge me—just straight up helped me figure out what I needed. I drank everyday for 17 years following my return from service overseas. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive to my needs as well as the others I met in residential treatment. They definitely were able to reach the root of my alcohol addiction and help put forth a plan for my continued success. I am almost 3 months sober and truly haven't felt better in my life. I believe God put these people in my path to help guide me. Thank you Sagebrush staff. If you do happen to go there, there is a program assistant that is ok at ping pong. This is a greatClinic. Very clean, neat and orderly. The staff is very hospitable and welcomes you with open arms. They’re easy to talk to and very friendly and make you feel like you’re talking to one of your closest friend(s) that you can share anything with. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone that has Teenagers that’s going through any kind of mental issues and need someone to talk to.
