I stayed inpatient here back in 2018 and the people who worked here helped shape my recovery story today. I didn't realize it then because I was fresh off the street and detoxing but today I can say with much gratitude that its the people who care and work tirelessly to help the patients that make Hope House what it is.

I was very impressed with my experience here today! I read the reviews prior to going and it made me quite skeptical, but overall I would highly recommend this facility. I arrived a little after 11am and it wasn't busy in there at all. The young lady at the front desk was very polite and warmly greeted me as I walked in. She listened very well during the check in process. It took less than 10 minutes to be called back by the triage nurse and then I was immediately placed in a room. I had the pleasure of being serviced by the nurse Lorraine and I tell you she is an angel! Throughout my entire visit, she was so caring, attentive, and nurturing to the point where I felt like I was family. She made me feel at ease and continuously checked on me to make sure I was good. Lorraine provides the type of care that every patient would need! If I ever needed to return, I'd ask for her and only hope that she's there again! The doctor was amazing as well! Dr. Pierson was the ER doctor and he has such a welcoming personality! Very lively person and thoroughly explains everything to you giving much peace of mind. He was attentive to all of my concerns and made sure to have the appropriate testing done. I was in and out of there in about 2 hours! I've worked in healthcare for years and have also been to many facilities and this was one of the best experiences I've had. Great staff, clean facility, and overall comfortable environment. I highly recommend!

Parking available right across the street, has free shuttle bus to n from entrance (not that far at all but available if need help walking etc) and free parking if you have Dr ofc stamp your parking card (otherwise it's $5 regardless of duration parked) n must be out by 5pm daily. Tranquility Woods is the best treatment center I’ve ever experienced. The multiple individual therapy sessions per week changed my life. My fiancé was in labor at 6 in the morning and we immediately came here and I can’t say enough how great Laura was as our nurse she stayed with us the entire time and how she helped deliver our daughter. This wss a 2nd opinion from another Med Star Orthopedic Ankle Foot, AWESOME experience compared to my initial visit with a different Orthopedic in Ellicott City. (Complete was of time and money). I was not pleased and would expect to have ny bill adjusted from 1st two vidits and will revisit this review, msrk it a 5 Star if Billing is adjusted as I have a $4k Ded so all 3 visits are 100% out of my pocket. (Not just a “coppay” which makes a big difference) The good news is, I’ve never had two second guess or question medical advice From a physician before. I will rate Chrysalis House based on when I was there and when it was being ran by different staff and Mrs Carisaa was there. Other than that I can not speak for the program after Mrs. Carissa left. When I was there it was tough but it is what i needed. I have never been to a program that actually cared and literally internally got to me dug up some buried issues and I worked on them. Mrs. MELVINA was my counselor, she was amazing. Most of the staff had went through addiction. Mrs Denise was amazzziiinnggg i never felt uncomfortable, leaving my son with them during the day. The whole staff at that time was amazing. Yes, it was very strict, but they did it in a loving way because they did not want us to die. I know countless women
That graduated the Chrysalis House and are still clean. I have ten fifteen, close lifelong friends that I had met at Chrysalis and that are still clean to this day. I have never went to a treatment that had this much success. Like I said, I cannot speak for the new staff, but it sounds like it is still a great program.While I was there and before I left, they were building on the new addition which was beautiful.It was finished before I left but was not open yet. A woman and children's program is needed and I hope that this one is ran as good as it was when I was there.I'm sure it is. I felt so safe with my children. I'll forever be grateful for Mrs. Carissa and all the staff.

I was someone who stayed here for so time almost a year. I know you can't please everyone but they did try to. Most of the residential staff was wonderful very attentive to the clients needs. The two that I felt that went beyond their job was Simone and Melissa I felt very safe and comfortable w them and they are some of the most compassionate, caring staff I have come across I truly believe they are at their job not only for a paycheck but to help. Thank you to all the residential staff. The clinical team here is beyond amazing I am actually lost for words how much the team does. Jeff, who no longer works there was my counselor, but he was just one of many counselors that really help get you through this difficult moment in your life. I drank everyday for 17 years following my return from service overseas. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive to my needs as well as the others I met in residential treatment. They definitely were able to reach the root of my alcohol addiction and help put forth a plan for my continued success. I am almost 3 months sober and truly haven't felt better in my life. This is a greatClinic. Very clean, neat and orderly. The staff is very hospitable and welcomes you with open arms. They’re easy to talk to and very friendly and make you feel like you’re talking to one of your closest friend(s) that you can share anything with. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone that has Teenagers that’s going through any kind of mental issues and need someone to talk to. CAM has by far been the best program I’ve been on. I was at another program (Cherryhill) for years & that place Hod change your whole energy. I would go in happy, come out in a horrible mood! There were a few good people there like Mrs. Hope & Nurse Michelle & a few good counselors, but at CAM, everyone has been amazing! From the beautiful woman at the front to the nurses & counselors, I am grateful for each one of them. I’ve been clean for 14 years & continue to be clean because of CAM.

out of all the rehabs i been to this the only one that worked. i’m cali sober, meaning i still smoke and drink, but i don’t do anything else anymore. the only “negative” is that the food sucked but even then we were able to have our parents bring us food. not to add i went in 2023 so i am more than positive they upgraded. all of their staff genuinely care about the patients coming in and out. if you’re considering sending your child to this facility, this is their best option, coming from an individual who spent her life in and out of hospitals and residentials. this is the best place you will ever find.

Very grateful for Sandstone. The intake process was smooth and easy during a scary and stressful time for our family. The staff were highly compassionate, communicative and skilled with both me (the mom) and their client (my daughter). While the journey itself was difficult, my daughter and I each in our own way felt supported the whole time. Her therapist, Kaelenn Keller, clicked with her right away and also provided valuable support to me. My daughter continued in from residential to IOP. Together these programs helped her immensely. I did not expect her to be so self aware so quickly. Although she was not given a choice to go, she was able to look back on the experience as favorable and necessary almost right away, which I think alone speaks volumes for the quality of care they provide. Forever grateful to the staff for helping my daughter.
