My experience at The Washburn House in Worcester is something I will always be grateful for. ❤️ Going through detox and CSS was not an easy journey, but the staff were there for me during some of the hardest moments. Their kindness, patience, support, and encouragement helped me feel that I was not alone. They treated me with compassion and respect and helped me take things one day at a time. I truly appreciate every staff member who took the time to listen, encourage me, and believe in me when I was struggling to believe in myself. The support I received gave me the strength and hope to keep moving forward in my recovery. I know recovery is a journey, and I still have work to do, but I am leaving with lessons, memories, and gratitude that I will carry with me. I absolutely love the staff at Spring Hill! The campus is gorgeous and healing. The ability to walk around and socialize in an open space is wonderful. I really felt cared for by the clinicians, case managers, nurses and RSes. CORPORATE, however is obviously very greedy unfortunately. You are a number to them. It’s a common problem but something you should know. Do not listen to promises of recruiters, there are many things said to try to get you signed up (commission) that are untrue (ex/ pool, trails, what you can bring or not etc) Know your rights. If you are sent for detox at BEDROCK, DO NOT LET THEM TALK YOU INTO STAYING. Go to Spring Hill and don’t waver

Its hard to put into words how much Paramount changed my life. Ive been in a few treatment facilities over the years but this one has a different feel to it. From day one I felt like I was in the right place because the staff made it a point to welcome me and made me feel comfortable. I found all the groups very beneficial and the focus of mental illness and addiction made a huge impact on me. After completion of treatment I know I'm on the right path. Its going to be a life long journey but Paramount gave me the tools I need to succeed. Much love and gratitude to all the Staff at paramount. I plan on keeping in Paramount in my life!

I really can't say enough about Paramount, I just finished my treatment there, and I have tremendous gratitude for all of the staff for being a part of my recovery journey. I was overwhelmed that first day right after detox with all that happened with initially getting clean, but the staff is obviously well practiced at putting their new clients at ease. Loved the groups and their curriculum, it's clear they continually evaluate what works well and they listen to feedback. I felt like I was extremely well matched to my therapist and I made a lot of headway into having insight to my addiction and issues surrounding my relapses. I feel very well equipped after finishing the program to continue with my recovery and get my life back

I have been in IOP since May 25th and have abstained from use of anything mind altering. Coming into detox I understand that groups and peer participation is necessary and your not required to go the 1st day or 2nd day but i think we need more time during the groups for self care, resting (because we're all very tired) and not shut off the tvs during groups.. because sometimes we just need a few minutes by ourselves

I went to this place about 10 times periodically over three years. I spoke there last night and I was astounded to find out that there were only seven people at the rehab facility. I was in complete shock. I got a little bit of a rundown of the situation on overview and it sounded to me as if the investors perhaps in fighting cost got out of control. Something happened in the rehab facility for them to stop taking clients and people in need for rehab services in detox. I was there about nine months ago and there was clearly about. And to go from that number to seven, the fear of running a ground is real You can’t forget the customer and I know what a complicated world now with Insurance and all that kind of stuff but it was a great place and it is a great place but like the alcoholic world you reach the bottom there’s nothing to go up. That’s kind of how I felt after I spoke and spoke to a couple people that Swift River is now at the bottom you gotta reinvent yourself. Wow, you have not that many people there is ample time to regroup fix the place up put some money into it higher the good people that we let go that were very passionate and compassionate people and helping people get to sobriety, but that seems to be an issue at play at the moment It’s all good From May 28 to June 23 really wrecked a great institution, but everything happens for a reason

Any veteran struggling with their care should transfer to this facility. The staff is responsive, intelligent, and happy to genuinely help you. Overall, this is one of the nicest mental health facilities you can go to. The facility itself is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The staff and therapists truly care about their work and are generally very solid and helpful once you get to connect with them. However, the program isn't as intensive as some might need — I only saw my therapist twice in a two-week span, including intake. Organizationally, things can sometimes fall through the cracks (like belongings, medication, and laundry). Your experience will also heavily depend on the other residents, which can be a wild card. Despite a few operational hiccups, the caring nature of the staff and the quality of the environment make it a solid choice for treatment.

When I decided that 48 years was enough of living in a bottle and a spoon, I began to research what exactly I needed to do to get to a stage where I could put my life on hold, hire enough of the right people to handle my affairs while I was away. After accomplishing that, I boarded a plane to Boston 04-19-26 and arrived at Hillside detox and recovery program safely where I was treated like royalty. After 30 days, they convinced me to further my experience, knowledge, and skills for a successful life of soberiety by going to Woburn Wellness. Honestly, it is one of the best decisions I've ever made. At Woburn, I attended the daily groups. At first I didn't understand how the groups could possibly help me go home to a wife that drinks, and remain sober. But the longer I not only attended, but actively participate in the program, the stronger I felt about my soberiety. I was also blessed to stay at the Sober House in Stoneham. The accommodations at these 2 blessings were nothing like the 10 star treatment I got used to at Hillside. But they were perfect for this stage in my journey because they were realistic for life in the real world. [ ] Jasmine was my go to for everything. She treated me like royalty. I'm not going to try and play favoritism with the staff at Woburn Wellness because they all are my favorites. I love and miss each of them. From Ray the Driver, for always getting me to put on my positive attitude, every morning, to Violet who made sure my meds were filled, to Jaun, my Rockstar, Sean, the Big dog who was also full of wisdom (and a little bit of bs.🤣). My Southern Belle, Laura, who is my Clinician, (she is vital to my soberiety by keeping me thinking, and giving me ideas, even now that I'm home). Caroline who always is high on happy pills, and we have a bonded agreement that we shook on, and It's something that I take very serious, and very rarely offer it, is special in her own ways. Noah is a beast, but a gentle giant that best not get anymore bad haircuts. Zhenya is the sweetest lady until you merge into a subject she doesn't approve of. But even her reprimands are done gently yet stern. I could go on praising the staff but I would be remiss if I don't talk about the group. Obviously I can't mention names or discussions we had. But I consider each one of them extremely lucky to be part of Woburn, especially myself. The staff and group members will always hold a very special place in my heart. [ ] Should I relapse, it would be solely for the purpose of going back to Hillside, then Woburn and the sober house, to spend time with my extended family. God bless each member of staff, the group members, everyone at Hillside and everyone at Stoneham Sober house. If you're serious about getting Clean and sober, then I strongly recommend you start at Hillside and then go to Woburn. You will leave a completely new person. I know I did. May Christ Jesus support you in you Soberiety and bless you with this program

It’s hard to say how it was when I first got here in an honest way, I was not in a great headspace. I also don’t know what the ever changing make-up of the patients will bring for you. But the staff, from medical, psych, case management, food, they treated me well and love to help people. They do what they can for you and understand where you’ve been. This isn’t my first rodeo, and this is in the top three places. Any place is what you make of it, but there’s fish and a lake, the calm quiet of nature. I have my complaints of course, like no coffee till 7am… huge portions three times a day, while delicious, can’t be broken up, ‘workout equipment’ is a strong word. I would come back, but honestly they gave me amazing knowledge and skills so I’m not thinking I’ll have to.

I’m two and a half years clean thanks to this place. To keep it short, I left detox and went to another facility that was extremely strict about AA and pushed it in a way that didn’t work for me. When I expressed that, it became an issue, so I chose to leave.. leaving was difficulty the other facility made me walk miles and miles before allowing myself a cell phone and left my stranded in the middle of nowhere. I got the courage after leaving to find another facility and CHOOSE NOT TO GO BACK TO THE LIFESTYLE I ONCE HAD. Finding Mayflower made all the difference. I appreciated that they allowed a more balanced, normal routine outside of meetings—you could relax, watch TV, do crafts, play basketball, and still focus on recovery. They also offered a different approach to sobriety that felt more supportive and personalized. What really stood out was the medical staff—they were always there when I needed them and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. This was my first time getting sober, and I’ve stayed sober ever since because of this place.. great food as well. I’m so thankful for this place because without them I don’t know where I would be today. If one place isn’t a fit for you in recovery please find the next place and do not give up!

would get 5 stars if one bht didn’t make me feel uncomfortable and didn’t act so hostile towards me. when this bht was working i felt uncomfortable to talk to her, or even do anything in front of her because she made it show she didn’t like me. but besides that it was great.

Resilience was really helpful for a friend of mine. They offered EMDR therapy for a lot of the stuff they had been through and they found it very helpful. The therapists were very warm and kind. Groups were very informational too. Would definitely recommend!

This clinic is NOT like the others. They are fast, friendly and more helpful and accommodating than other clinics. A few things could be tweaked a little bit, but most can be addressed with your counselor if needed. Office Staff, Security, and the Medical Staff are TOP NOTCH! This was one of the lowest points in my life and even though I knew drastic changes were needed, I didn’t know where/how to start. My friend put me in touch with Mathe at Bedrock and it only took one short conversation before I knew I wanted my recovery to start at Bedrock in Canton MA. Bedrock was my 1st and hopefully last facility I’ll be in and I was blessed to have gone there. I would recommend this place to any and all that are battling addiction. The nurses and staff are all very understanding, patient, knowledgeable and kind. They want the best for you and that’s how they make you feel every day. Taking part in all they have to offer while there definitely makes the time cruise by and really taught me a lot about my addiction. before I knew it I did what not so long ago I thought I never could do. I had a really positive experience at Bedrock and there were a lot of things about the program that I appreciated. Like anywhere, it isn’t perfect, and some of the groups can feel repetitive at times, but honestly I think there’s a reason for that. In early recovery, we need to hear some things more than once before they actually stick. I walked away with things I know I’ll continue to use outside of treatment. I especially want to shout out Mathematics. His groups were always entertaining and engaging, but he also wasn’t afraid to give you the tough love you needed to hear. He has a way of being direct without making you feel like he doesn’t care. You can tell he genuinely wants people to succeed. I also don’t know how he manages to stay in contact with and support so many people after they leave, but that says a lot about how seriously he takes what he does. Another thing I actually really appreciated was having a decent amount of downtime and some access to the outside world. I know that can be controversial in treatment, but for me it was beneficial. Recovery doesn’t happen in a bubble, and eventually you have to go back to real life. Being able to see what was happening outside, reflect on how it affected me, and then bring those struggles into groups or talk about them with staff gave me the opportunity to work through things while I still had support around me. I would much rather start learning how to handle those emotions in treatment than have everything hit me at once when I leave, which can be one of the most vulnerable times in recovery. Overall, I’m grateful for my experience at Bedrock. There were good staff, good groups, enough structure to keep me focused, but also enough breathing room to actually think about my life and what I needed to change. Treatment is ultimately what you make of it, but I definitely left Bedrock with more insight, tools, and support than I came in with.

I've been at Merrick Street for nearly a year, and my experince has been truly amazing. Spectrum staff members are caring, well-educated and passionate about helping each client on an individual basis. The level of care far exceeds that of other programs. I started my 'journey' at Sisters of Providence in Holyoke, and (apart from my clinician -- who was amazing!), it felt like conveyor-belt-style care. Now, that was a 2-hour round-trip commute every morning, but Information about Spectrum (20 minutes away) was hidden from me (despite my inquiries) for months because it was a separate organization and they likely didn't want to lose me as a paycheck -- I mean patient. Spectrum is the total opposite. It has changed my life. I wasted years fearing a program, and the stigma attached. But I realized-- since I was already dealing with the stigma of having fibromyalgia and chronic pain, it made no difference, and I needed to try -- for me. Since entering, I have met so many incredible people, shared and heard many incredible stories, and in a way, I am proud to be part of something so positive.

I need this to be seen because this program has changed my life, and Im sharing the knowledge and structure that I was given there with my best friend, because I know it works, and I refuse to let him give up. My Father passed when I was 15, just 2 days before Christmas. The holidays are tough, thats just a fact. So this past December I went on an exceptionally dangerous bender, and didnt stop until New Years Eve when I finally had the thought of "Alright, maybe I should chill out, start fresh, new-year-new-me blah blah blah". On January 2nd, I experienced my first ever hallucination due to withdrawals. The electronics in my home came to life, they were communicating with me, and they were NOT singing happy songs or telling funny jokes. As long as I live I will always remember: "Matt, you're 39 years old and you've dedicated your life to drinking. You can either join us, or if you tell anyone about this they WILL NOT believe you, and we WILL kill you". I ran to my neighbors house, told her I thought someone was playing a high-tech prank on me, and she called the police. They came and brought me to Noble where I stayed 4 days before being transferred to Baystate, all told I spent 2 weeks in the hospital. My case worker suggested an out patient program, and then came New Growth. The structure of having somewhere to be every day, the knowledge and compassion and resources and encouragement from the staff, the overwhelming positivity and healing that began with support from total strangers, with one thing in common: lets take back our lives before they are taken from us because life is worth it. We're worth it. I dont know if I just got super lucky and hit the absolute jackpot, or the stars lined up just right and my particular situation unfolded exactly the way it had to, or whatever it was. But I can honestly and truly say that New Growth has provided the only foundation thats been strong enough for me to start building the life and the future I imagine for myself, and thats exactly what a recovery center is supposed to do. They'll give you all the tools you need, you just have to be ready and willing to build something beautiful. New Growth takes care of the rest...(plus pizza on Fridays 😂) This place works. Im telling you please take the chance, you have my word you will be so happy you did 🙏

I was angry leaving my initial one star review because I felt lied to and deceived. I was told I’d be lucky to make it back to this place… meaning that I’d be dead and not be able to make it back. I was told I would be dead cause of how “horrible and defiant” I was. I did not like AA was not for me so I was going to die. Many people that worked here told me. My case worker gossiped about me to a whole group of my peers saying “one of you is going down a dark road” really? These are the people to trust? These are the people “getting me better.” Also they said the bill would not need to be paid and I kept getting harassed by AP office I believe in Florida? So I was furious. So my initial review was one star and I left out words because I wrote a nasty review and had to erase them. I wanted to come back and edit my one star review to a five star. Cause here I am, over 5 years later, still going strong as ever in my recovery, and I have a place that is mine, I have a good steady job, and I’m free of the chains of addiction. Whether I like it or not, my experience here is what lead me to where I am today. There was some amazing staff that was overworked and under paid so if by some grace of god they are still there, god bless. I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt and say they were trying reverse psychology on me, the staff talking crap about me to other peers, the staff saying I’d be dead. But they were not that smart, they genuinely were telling me I was hopeless. I won’t name you but I know that you know who you are. Now I sit here over 5 years later thinking that maybe if you did not spend so much time talking down and being hateful and judgmental to me, maybe all my brothers in program with me that are dead now, would still be alive if you paid them that energy. But it is what it is right? I don’t equate my success to NEATC, hell no. I put my success on my shoulders. I easily could have taken yall saying I’d be dead soon and actually gone and died. But I didn’t. I spit in all your faces and I proved all of you wrong. I did it for me. I did it for my brothers who died due to the lack of care they received wether insurance was poor or you just focused more on me being defiant than their complacent obedience to your AA. What works for some does not work for all. It’s your hate that drove the fight in me to succeed. I see my brothers in the program with me that never will get to share their smiles with the world, I can share the smile they taught me. I can share their message and I will not let them down. That’s why I have 5 stars. This place did exactly what it needed to. Just like life, drove me insane, judged me, hate on me, gave me a place to live full of rats and mice, financial issues to battle, had to face death, had to hear pain like no other, and was not the smoothest ride. But through the pain and darkness of life there is always light, you can be that light. You can change. Amidst all the bad, there was a handful of AMAZING staff and people that gave me a real life experience I will never ever ever forget. Just like life this place is not perfect, we need to take the challenges and push on. I loved this place. And always will. This place did heal me. Not how I wanted but how I needed. Just like real life. I noticed my growth as I wanted to change my one star review. Even after all the trouble, I pushed through and fought and still see the light. I am still a light that will not be dimmed. And this place is a HUGE part of the reason I am who I am today. An amazing light in a dark dark world. I absolutely love Andy and all of the wonderful ladies at the front desk they are all so kind and helpful to me as well as understanding; always willing to listen if there is ever a problem, they will do their best to help straighten it out. Never had an issue with them. This clinic is way faster and better ran than Chelsea- worlds better. There are usually all three windows open and they are pretty consistent and quick. I am terrible and honestly don’t even know the nurses at the windows names (I’m sorry) but the lady that’s usually at window 1 (shorter blonde hair, always has awesome nails) she is so kind! There is another window where the nurse also worked in Chelsea-she’s also terrific. There are some things or people I don’t necessarily love but it’s okay. I really appreciate the new director for taking the time out to meet me and talk with me in private one on one and speak of my concerns and come up with solutions. I feel seen and heard and I appreciate that. Thank you

Normally I have no issues at this place but this particular nurse seems to find fun or something bcuz treats me like I'm in a juvenile in a institution. But your not gonna play with me like that or in any fashion. So better things escalate. I just walk out. I'm afraid of my reaction plus the fact that it's a loose loose situation for either way it goes. This i understand. So I always play it smart. I promised myself I won't ever get arrested ever again. So I'm always a head of these little games these like play with us and our intelligence. But overall, it really isn't that bed besides a few screwed up staff members. Peace and Blessings...
