I went to this place about 10 times periodically over three years. I spoke there last night and I was astounded to find out that there were only seven people at the rehab facility. I was in complete shock. I got a little bit of a rundown of the situation on overview and it sounded to me as if the investors perhaps in fighting cost got out of control. Something happened in the rehab facility for them to stop taking clients and people in need for rehab services in detox. I was there about nine months ago and there was clearly about. And to go from that number to seven, the fear of running a ground is real You can’t forget the customer and I know what a complicated world now with Insurance and all that kind of stuff but it was a great place and it is a great place but like the alcoholic world you reach the bottom there’s nothing to go up. That’s kind of how I felt after I spoke and spoke to a couple people that Swift River is now at the bottom you gotta reinvent yourself. Wow, you have not that many people there is ample time to regroup fix the place up put some money into it higher the good people that we let go that were very passionate and compassionate people and helping people get to sobriety, but that seems to be an issue at play at the moment It’s all good From May 28 to June 23 really wrecked a great institution, but everything happens for a reason

This clinic is NOT like the others. They are fast, friendly and more helpful and accommodating than other clinics. A few things could be tweaked a little bit, but most can be addressed with your counselor if needed. Office Staff, Security, and the Medical Staff are TOP NOTCH! At this clinic there is NO REASON NOT TO GET HELP!!

I've been to a few methadone clinics due to moving. And this one is by far the best one yet. They are fair and they are consistent. They don't let you get away with more or less than anyplace else, they are just easier to get take homes and to work with.

I miss HCRC Westfield and Liz!!! I don't know if she's still there but I'd love to say hi. Did the clinic move from the brick building on N Elm St? I ask only bc when I just Googled HCRC Westfield it was in a different location! Anyways, I am currently 3 years clean from illicit substances. HCRC is a lifesaver the whole entire staff is always so empathetic from the smiles you get from the front desk to the Nurses always asking how are you doing not to the mention the amazing medical staff who took me out of really bad situation because all they want to do is help. The Dr is so willing to hear you out and make things better on top of that Nick my counselor he's just amazing he pulls you out of your head and you don't even realize he did it's just a natural thing for him and one other person would be Kristen she runs that place so smoothly but with a heart that matches the smile she gives every single time when she asks if you're ok and that's why HCRC Westfield is the best!!! Excellent care. I was at the Palmer Hospital for 8hrs and had vitals and x-ray done. I left the Palmer Hospital and went to Holyoke. Vitals and x-ray done. Had a room and nurse came in often and doctor was busy but made time to hear what was going on with me. He ordered multiple test. Told me what it was and medication I will need and follow up with my doctor. I was able to get through the weekend. Big thank you to the emergency room staff!!!

Always feels very safe and comforting there in Leeds, just an FYI I visited the Veterans Memorial that they have on Front Street in Chicopee where the old Chicopee High School is, and I highly recommend to check that out it is very honorable and reflective

I've got to say I'm a driver that takes people to healthcare centers and resource centers the one in Chicopee is the most words I've ever seen they lock the doors before 5:00 not to mention sometimes I have people that have canes and walkers they'd be going up the ramp and he still has the audacity to lock the door in front of their face with a smile after this comment here I will be calling the administration because something needs to be done.

Carlson was the right place at the right time for me to bring a friend of mine who had finally decided to detox and go into an aftercare program, from addiction. The place was well organized, seemed to be run well and plenty of patient supervision, from the point that my friend made it through the complete admission process, she was able to reach out to myself and her sister, and her mother, and then transition to the Hope house in Springfield. I strongly encourage anyone battling with addiction and / or dual diagnosis as well, to call Carlson for bed availability and go through the program. A lot has changed in this field over the past five years, but most notably over the past two years, and there is help and there is hope, if you know somebody who’s struggling out there, they are somebody’s daughter they are somebody’s son. They could also be somebody’s spouse and they could also be somebody’s parent as well, try to do what you can to help them as long as it’s within your cable tow. God bless.

I think the Carlson center was awesome. They medicate you so you are really comfortable. Their food is incredible and you can get seconds too which is helpful when you are starving and coming off alcohol. Every time I relapsed I went there because I knew they would give me another chance. You should go to groups but yes you can sleep if you’re tired. I remember the first time I went there. I was in serious alcohol withdrawal. I had the best sleep after being medicated. Their staff is great too. They saved my life. They wake you up for vitals early but you may need medication. They have punch in the tv room which I drank like no tomorrow. Snacks too. I’ve been there like 7 times and they always treat me great. I wish I could say my name but can’t. You will always get a second chance there

I was very happy to have learned of this establishment. Many insurances are accepted like Medicaid and Medicare, although certain counselors accept certain insurances. The scheduling coordinators are very friendly and work with you to receive the help you need. It is also worth noting that services are offered for kids and even toddlers, with referalls offered as well.

I've posted a few comments what's important is that the program works they now let u smoke bud also something alot of us worried about for take-homes but things WILL NOT always go your way I guess my advice to myself and others is simply keep going even if it gets rough and feels hard keep going even if you know your clean and a test says otherwise false positives or whatever they might be, just know that in the long run it is saving your life!!

I went to swift river back in March. When discharging from rehab I had a hard time finding a place that took my insurance. I had a quick intake on the phone with compass and they took me right away right as I discharged from rehab. All the counselors were very welcoming and super nice. What’s nice about compass is all the counselors have been through the same experience as the patients there. They are very relatable and supportive and that makes the experience 100 times easier. I’m so glad out of all the places in the area I picked compass if I didn’t go through with this program with the structure they gave me. I would have been so lost with going through early recovery alone. They are the perfect place to get you started on the path to recovery. Will forever be grateful for compass!

This place saved my life….. I don’t even know where to start. They welcomed me in with open arms in a judgement free zone, made sure I had everything I needed for food, hygiene, meds, and general support. EVERY SINGLE STAFF member was caring and attentive to my needs from check in to check out.
