I'm currently going through the program. Sounds like most of these reviews that are negative are from people. I have had no issues here I follow the rules to the best of my ability and listen to and try to implement every suggestion. I do what is asked of me and I go to a 12 step meeting at least once a day. I joined two groups as a home group and took service positions in both. I go on commitments. I got a sponsor. I've only been blessed by peacefulness, a better sense of spirituality, positive self esteem, service work, positive relationships and repairing severely damaged relationship's with loved ones.
I can promise you when I put in the work and realized that my will put me into this position. I started to change my whole perception of my thoughts and actions. I got the first time in 26 years am truly feeling real happiness. That should say a lot considering I have no money, transportation, home or job at this moment but I know it will be tangible in the near future. I highly recommend this place if you want to actually want to live a life of sobriety.

I had an amazing, amazing stay. The dining staff made delicious food, especially the desserts. My only drawback would be that the facility is understaffed as far as techs go, but their drive, empathy, and kindness more than made up for it. I would especially like to thank Christine for being an ANGEL on Earth, and Annemarie for her dedication and care. The nursing staff did everything they could to ensure a comfortable, safe experience. I would recommend this facility to anyone experiencing a mental health crisis.

Such a great place! From the moment I very nervously, and hesitantly walked in I was treated with compassion and respect. I was in real trouble, my drinking was out of control for a long time, and my health and family were suffering. Serenity got me safely detoxed and sober, and then taught me how to stay that way. If you are ready to accept help & want to make a positive change in your life you should definitely call them. I go to the Peabody clinic & it has been a great experience. Honestly I had no expectations I think except maybe I was just another number walking through the door & that has been the furthest thing from the truth. Everyone, I mean Everyone has been amazing. They care, I honestly believe that. They want to see you succeed in your recovery. When you walk in they remember you name, they are all very pleasant, which helps me so much going to a place that have a great staff. The security staff always smile & remember peoples names (incredible), the front desk are great, they are welcoming & funny, the nurses are always very pleasant & interact with you. I have the best counselor. She is amazing & so easy to talk to. She has been a rock for me in my recovery, I can’t say enough about her. I have interacted a bit with the head counselor too & she has gone out of her way to help me when she was slammed with work & it’s when I was new to the clinic. I really appreciated that. I just want to mention the director. She has been wonderful wherever I have interacted when her. She has been pleasant, calls me by my name which is impressive to me anyway because I don’t see her much, but she remembers my name just the same. That says a lot to me about the type of person that leads the clinic. As you can tell I am a big fan of the place. They have helped me tremendously in getting over this mountain that I have been struggling with for a decade or so. When I see some of these negative reviews I don’t think it’s how 99.99% of the people going there feel. Most people only write reviews to complain. This clinic has i believe over 600 patients. Honestly if you are having a bad situation where you are not happy it’s most likely because you messed up and are paying the consequences for your own actions. We are in this clinic to begin with because of bad decisions, bad roads we chose to take. The rules won’t change from the day you decide to join to your last day after you complete the program. If you take care of your end of the deal they will live up to their end. Even if you relapse they will be there to pick you back up, encourage you and stick by you as long as it takes. I give a ton of credit & really appreciate the work that these people do. If you want help, call .. they will help you like they have everyone else.

I have had the upmost great experience at HCRC. Dexter great guy first person I see every morning. Then I see Michelle she has been a truly great person, she always ask me if I am ok never mad always smiling. Then the head nurse has gone above and beyond to make me feel good the gentlemen nurse and all the other female nurses and consular. This place is great! I went there's TVs in the room and the groups are a amazing. Most importantly the staff are awesome they went above and beyond to get me placed where I really wanted to go. They made sure I had everything I needed for aftercare and just were amazing like I said! They gave me clothes. Made me feel comfortable. META changed my life, hands down. I was so skeptical going into the program, especially with a mental health focus instead of addiction. Now I wish I never had to leave! The staff instantly make you feel like you belong and you’re exactly where you need to be. I built my confidence back up and learned so many skill! The DBT approach was more helpful to me than any 1:1 therapy I had tried before. Building community and support in the group model was also very powerful. If you’re not sure about going, I’m here to say you should give it a try. You won’t regret it!

I was at a near breaking point with my mental health when I found Meta for a mental health IOP program. I've always been hesitant about seeking care with outpatient programs due to seeing friends who said the care made them feel worse. My psychiatric NP was worried because most facilities near me had waitlists of up to a month. I was drowning. Desperate, I reached out to one of their facilities who directed me to Meta, who took my insurance. When they say they can see if your insurance covers the care within an hour, they absolutely mean it. When beginning the intake process the staff was nothing but encouraging. By the end of the day, I already had the intake process started.
Beginning the program was fast as I was able to start immediately. Their NP team was so helpful with helping me file for PFML. You can attend in person or join on Zoom. This was such a relief as Meta is an hour and a half away from me. Meta provides the most accessible mental health program I have seen.
I also can't say enough about the care team. There's a blend of advice from people who want to see you grow. Groups are the best with Kayla's sharp insight and Liz's gentle guidance. Not only am I able to connect with my therapists, but others who are also seeking support. I'll be taking friendships with me when my time with Meta comes to a close. If you are on the fence about reaching out for professional support, come to Meta. It truly has been a wonderful experience.

I've struggled with my mental health for most of my life and always kept afloat one way or another, but Meta was the biggest turning point for me. I've felt so supported everyday while given an environment I felt safe in to heal. They've given me knowledge and coping skills that I will carry with me throughout my life. I'm very grateful to the Meta team and everyone I've met through them. For the first time since I was a kid I feel like I'm living and not just holding on.

moved back to MA and it was definitely worth the wait! My son has in recent months (after several ear infections) become very fearful of doctors and dentists however it ended up being a really positive, FUN experience for him, his dad & i. they had a “child life specialist” who provided our son with toys to play with during the visit and had amazing techniques to distract him while he received his immunizations (the nurse who administered the immunizations also had great techniques!!) They both were so sweet and understanding. great communication from everyone, clean office and friendly

I have struggled with my addiction for 20 years now and I’ve been on and off this clinic for several years. Linda is a miracle worker and one of the sweetest people I know. Laura is also the best! I’ve always had awesome clinicians Jim M. has been great to work with and has always been on point with helping me in every situation I come barreling in with!!! I couldn’t ask for a better person to be my clinician… except maybe Derek because he is the man 202 lol thanks Lowell Clinic I’m transferring so farewell for now I never know when I might come back to where I feel most comfortable and most supportive in my recovery!!!

I was able to get into the original hope house in the south end over 20 years ago through a friend Alex and Brian Tullos who i just recently found out is amazingly still helping people at the hope house to this day. I may not have known it at the time but I realize now that the Hope House and Brian helped lay down the groundwork for me to get off heroin which was the hardest thing I ever had to do in my entire life. Things are far from perfect my health is bad I still need to take care of some things in my life but I am so grateful to not have to die with a needle in my arm today. Like many my opinion about methadone was based on other people's stories and experiences. I had reached my rock bottom. My barely 1 yr old baby and I were about to be homeless. We ended up in a family shelter where I kept to myself mostly. Another parent came up to me, very privately gave me a paper with a number, when I looked at it, it said methadone clinic. Of course I replied with "I don't need that". After becoming friends they asked me to take a ride so they could dose. I went only to see all the fuss. That was a Tues. They saw me that day for 2 of the initial 4 appts and by Friday I was dosing... I used that night because it wasn't enough to hold me yet... but that next day... Saturday... I didn't use... nor have I used since. That was Nov 17th, 2009. I've been heroin free since and it was the best decision I refused to make. Lol. I'm in a great support group that are like family. I have 27 take homes. I got a great job I've been at 9 yrs now and bought my first home only 5 yrs ago.

I was with Riverside twice in the past 17 years. The last was last year. The first time was a better experience with my therapist and prescribers. Rachel Matos was great as my prescriber. The others like Dr. Strecker and Dr. Fuhrman were good too but they both retired. My therapist was Brian McKenna but he left and I didn’t feel therapy was necessary after that. My 2nd time (summer of 2022 into the winter) I was seeing just a therapist, Brianna. I didn’t feel it was a good fit. She wasn’t much help. She didn’t do anything wrong. And I honestly think she didn’t want to deal with me either. I can be difficult. So we both got what we wanted in a way. But she said she would find me a new therapist within Riverside who’s a better fit and she never got back to me. That was 5 months ago. She has not responded to my emails or text messages.

The only thing I feel that some rules and who exactly makes final decisions on certain things,so there's no miscommunication for the clients. That would be extremely helpful, especially miscommunication with clients that have take homes basically I feel as though like I said in the beginning of this review maybe things need to be updated and everybody needs to be on the same page because I'm sure certain rules do change from time to time, and of course everybody needs to know what rules have changed whether you have take-homes or not. I would like to say something wonderful about three counselors and that's because I only know them and one of them is mine and the other one I do a group with and the third one I had have interactions with him when he was counselor of the week, the counselor Donna, Kim and Arthur a wonderful wonderful counselors they are fair and if you are doing everything you're supposed to and you're doing the right thing especially in working the program they will go to bat for their clients. Also the nurses are very nice as the front desk as well. I will end with this, this will work for you but only if you are going to use your footwork as well.

The people that work here. That’s the difference. This place will absolutely, do whatever they can to help you. I honestly, can’t stress it enough.
This is run by Diana and she’s not just a big shot that stays in her office. The first week she was here, she invited me in, just to ask me how I was doing and if I needed anything to make it easier for me. Her door is always open and I always feel welcome. Felipe has been great to me from the moment I met him. He always makes the ins. problems or billing, much, much easier. Heidi and the nursing team, Sage, the two receptionists, and of course, my main man, Darrin. These people are now all friends, to me and I care for them all.
I do all my work and whatever is asked of me. If I have an appointment, I show up. I follow the program and I’ve had very few issues. It’s been one of the best moves I’ve made in my life.
Give this place a chance if you want to change things. I would refer anyone that wants a fresh start, here it is. This is it. Anyone can build a building but the people are always the key. In any business.
Anyway, thank you to all the friends I met at CTC and I and grateful to you. 😘
