This place is amazing!!! The entire staff of therapists are very knowledgeable and each bring something different to your recovery journey. As others have stated in the reviews, they truly changed my life and how I view my recovery. I cannot endorse and suggest this outpatient more. I’ve attended other IOP’s, but this facility is simple the best! I didn’t attend their inpatient, but I heard from my peers that it is also top notch. I’m back to work now, but I sometimes miss this place. Nothing but love and gratitude for Skywood!!!

Not only have they helped me with recovery but they became part of my recovery family. Bill is straight forward with what he expects and also understands real life issues but will not be played as he knows the in and outs of how qbh is ran and what people are up to. Beth is definitely their to help she came from beimg in the ER as a nurse and now coming to qbh to help the very people she seen impacted by drugs and will help anyway she can. Glenn always has positive and straightforward answers or questions to what you might be dealing with. Ron is the group counselor and he will let you get whatever is bothering you or even daily life issues out into the group for discussion. Just checking in on you guys. Thank You for all your help and the tools to stay clean. I left about four years ago and was at 120 . After about 45 days of going thru withdrawals I finally gave in to Suboxone. My next step is the shot. Hi Bill and glad to see you're still here. TY for always being cool and I'll never forget you. Addicts do recover when they choose to!!!! Ty QBH for the tools to stay clean by making me go to group and therapy 🙌. Which made me start going to NA meetings. I believe in early recovery you gotta do 90/90. 90 meetings in 90 days to start change 😉😎. Remember to give yourself a break and get into NA to start working the steps of NA. The books how and why were my best tools. You must have a sponsor to work the steps. You can't do the steps alone because how do you know if you're doing them right 👍 and you'll have a friend forever.

I can’t describe how grateful I am for this facility and the people who work there. From my first desperate and nervous call, they were supportive and up front. Not only did advanced rapid detox safe my life with there detox under sedation process, the staff is amazing. They refill the detox medications without question, the staff continues to stay involved 6 months later and check up on there patients at least monthly. I would recommend this life saving detox under sedation to anyone anytime

I wasn't a typical addict I guess. I wasn't even using pills to get high. I took them just to feel normal and not go into WD. The people at ARD totally understood and didn't judge me. They didn't pressure me and told me that I really had to be ready because this was a medical procedure. The first day of testing and doctor visits was easy. On day 2 I was under sedation fully monitored and safe. Day 3 was rougher, but the dr. told me in advance that it would be. I like the shot because I aint got no desire to use at all and it has been 6 months and I have never thought about using again. Best 9 grand I ever spent.

I was there at the M.A.T.T.S. Program. They was respectful, helpful, and very patient with rude people.
The people there with children should really keep an on their children, not let them run around.
They help you if you want to help yourself and your family.
They have good meals. The salvation army helps out a lot. They have a social service there that helps you out.
You call and then go up there before 8:30 to see if there is a open bed.

The online group with Karen and Meredith did a lot for me. I actually think I benefited from being online: it made interacting with others, as well as the content, a lot less exhausting/intimidating. Ultimately, the experience was what I made it. I find myself much more tolerant of myself these days, as well as more comfortable around other people. I know SO many people who could have used this at some point of their lived and would highly recommend it!

The people here saved my life. I have nothing bad to say...sure the lines get backed up, that's ANY MAT clinic(and that's once in awhile in tough situations...this is my 4th clinic, and the best yet. I waited 1-2hrs EVERY day at my 1st 2 clinics). The front staff do their best with all they deal with. From seeing both perspectives, they do their best. Counselors are outstanding!

Been here since '19 and I will most likely be a lifer.This place's functionality can vary from day to day, which isn't ideal for people trying to stabilize. That said, the NPs (Doctors everyone calls them) are 11/10. Reene (sorry about spelling) andTonya are absolute angels, doing Gods work. Swriously they couldn't be better. The front desk ladies are good too, always busy. And thank god for the nurses too.They have been reliable lately and that is nice. Overall this place has some issues but don't throw away the bushell for one bad apple. Bonnie is also amazing and although I've only had a few interactions with her, each one was more pleasant than the last. Great lady.

I am a skeptic when it comes to doctors and clinicians because of past experience with both myself and my children. But I can say with total confidence that Easterseals has done an amazing job helping my daughters and myself cope and adapt in a healthy way to live successfully in todays world. I can’t imagine being a teenager now a days, and as a parent, I would do anything to help my girls get through these tough years. Colleen has done a wonderful job helping us communicate even if it’s uncomfortable for both of us. She helped save my beautiful daughter from going into a very dark place. I see some do not share the same experiences we have with Easterseals, but I’ve been in and out with my girls over the years, and between the staff, docs, and therapists, they have all done an amazing job, considering what they too, have to deal with day in and day out. At times my girls had to change therapists in the middle of treatment, but they did an alright job matching them with someone similar. And if they are ready and willing to change, and it’s explained that stuff like this happens, we got through it. It’s hard to keep constant staff on hand all the time, so I understood. We have been going here for years. We’ve seen a few doctors and therapists. I have never had any issues with any of the staff, doctors, or therapists. We’re always treated well. If you’re looking for pediatric/ adolescent care I highly recommend Dr. Greer. As far as therapists go Sarah Mathew and Elissa Redman are amazing!

I lived for 9 months and I really liked it very much. They had adult sized tricycles in 2015.
I would ride them around on the property to and from the Scripps Mansion and to the circle drive near the men’s treatment center. I tried riding to and from the gym/ physical therapy building where the business offices and printing press for the magazine journal. It was too hard going up hill but a breeze coming back down to the bridge . Then I had to get off and push it up to the treatment center for women. I really enjoyed my time at this place. However all good times have to end and mine ended .

Went there for a trunk or treat event. Everyone was nice and pleasant The kids enjoyed themselves. Also if they had a wonderful presentation about the use of narcan and was given free narcan away to help the community. I love that they were making a positive impact in the community while also giving to the children.

I have been see Elizabeth virtually on and off for months now. She is extremely professional and kind and is well educated in mental health. I also see Dr. Haque for medication and he is the same. I have been seeing him as my primary for years now. Unfortunately, the office portion of the practice often struggles with organization and not answering phone calls. I have attempted several phone calls across multiple days, and often, nobody picks up. Voice mails are not returned, and sometimes the inbox is full.
Overall, I would recommend wellhealth if you want a deeper clinical experience. Just know Dr. murthy usually runs behind because of the more complex cases that come into his office.

I know some people get frustrated with the turnover or when the front desk can’t always answer the phone right away, but I cannot say enough positive things about Easterseals MORC. They truly have some wonderful people providing support.... and these are just some of them.
My case manager, Helen P., has been such a blessing in coordinating all of my services through Easterseals. She has gone above and beyond to make sure my care feels seamless — from connecting me with therapy and employment support to helping with medication management. She even took the initiative to gather my records from a previous provider so nothing was missed. Helen is incredibly resourceful, patient, and caring, and I truly appreciate the peace of mind she brings by keeping everything organized and on track.
My therapist, Janai W., has been a wonderful source of support and encouragement. I enjoyed my experience at Positive Images. I learned a lot and most of the recovery coaches do care and want the best for the clients. There is a few things they need do need to work on and hope they do in the future- which was allowing some clients to continuesly break the rules and not sticking to their punishments. Many should have been kicked but werent and it started to affect the people that were there who really l wanted to get the help and followed the rules.

This is not a hotel. It is when you have found yourself hopeless, lost and homeless and you have come to the last house on the block meaning you have lost everything and burned most or all you had. You have nothing and the only way to go is up. You are not owed anything. But it is a start from the streets. Utilize what they have to offer for your benefit and when you have moved up go back and help those coming for help. Be humble and understand you cannot function without money! Nothing is free!!!

I normally wouldn't have written a review but it was comical to read some of the reviews here and felt like I should leave a comment as well. If you spend any amount of time attending group or individual therapy at Clinton Counseling Center, you will quickly find out that this place seems to be the only and last hope for people that have hit rock bottom in life, whether it is with chronic unemployment, broken relationships, abandonment from loved ones, homelessness relying on the generosity of Macomb County funding and the staff here will go above and beyond to act like the middle person to get you the resources you need, advocate for you, communicate with probation officers or psychiatrists or aiming to connect you with a primary care physician or anything to help you through your journey to recovery. If the client makes an effort, you will find good support from the team at Clinton Counseling Center which is honestly a very bare bones operation but a very critical and needed service that isn't drawing in money like most other larger organizations are. Take advantage of this gem if you need it and don't be swayed by those that have had "bad" experiences that often was not caused nor exacerbated by anyone at the counseling center.

Truly, the best kept secret of Macomb County! I am amazed at the level of kindness and care offered by every single person you'd interact with here. They are genuinely empathetic and will figure out any way possible to support you in receiving the funding you need for housing, transportation, medical and psychiatric care that the government already has allocated. I was put in this hospital when i was 8 years old. I was misdiagnosed with schizophrenia. During The strip search before I entered, I was easily able to sneak a large, sharp chunk of plastic past the two nurses checking me. I was put on an extreme antipsychotic that I did not even need (Latuda). I missed much school, and now the gaps in my education are hurting me. Some of the staff were nice. Nothing was done about the bullying, Which was quite bad. The food was shit. I don’t recall any kind of therapy, We just did crafts And slept. The beds were horrendous. Thin plastic covered foam Over hardwood. The rooms they make you go into if you are acting out are no different From a cold hard jail cell. Some of the staff were irresponsible. Some of the staff were great. There are many bad things I can say about this hospital, but I’m not showing signs of schizophrenia anymore. So maybe it worked. Though I’m still struggling greatly with my mental health. overall I do think that if I needed to, I would be willing to go back. So it’s not all terrible.

I LOVE this place. They have helped pull me out of such a low spot in my life. My therapist, Steve Scavone is the absolute best. I never would have thought that as a woman, a male therapist could be so helpful, but he's been absolutely amazing. I saw Jacqueline, a therapist, for more than two years, and she was great. She's a great listener and had good feedback for me. She also has a great sense of humor, which, to me, is important in a therapist. The office ran smoothly and they sent reminder texts and phone calls before each appointment. I recommend Eastwood BH!

I've read past reviews and it's disheartening to hear given my time while short was beneficial. Yes the men's bathroom was atrocious but I dare you to make me one rehab facility that accepts medicaid insurance where the men's bathroom doesn't look bad. Sacred Heart for example is supposed to be the top tier for bottom insurance and the men there never flush leave their stuff all over it's like that especially in detox grown men don't know how to use proper hygene. But the staff went I was there a couple months ago were amazing friendly and funny especially Diamond she had me laughing a lot. The food is pretty good so I don't know what the one guy was complaining about mold. I've been to some of the best and worst rehabs and I can tell you it's what you put into it. If you are trouble you are gonna attract trouble or if you think you can just come in and coast and not participate then you won't get anything out of it. I had a bad relapse recently and unfortunately have to go back but I'm glad I'm going back to a place that has love and cares. Only negative thing I can say is what most would consider great is that they allow you to bring your personal cellphones in. Its great to listen to music and text family to passed the time but there is too much temptation to call or text the wrong people who could convince you to reconsider wanting to stay. Other than that I give this place a 5 and they do a lot with not having a lot of money

The detox facility takes people off the street 24/7, that’s an amazing thing. The detox nurses deal with a lot and do it with kindness, compassion, and composure. I am incredibly grateful for the rest they provided me that I was in desperate need of. If you are a person with the capacity to donate to a facility, this is the one. They are operating with limited resources.
