This place is amazing. If you’re wondering coming from the streets doing bundles of dope if it’ll work, it will. From top to bottom these ladies made detox painless. I can’t thank them enough. I’ve been an opiate addict for 18 years and in a few hours I was clean. No restless legs, no puking, 100% clean.

I didn't go here a loved one did and they changed her life - and they still take calls and help almost a year later. It gets you thru the physical part it's on you to follow thru with the rest - if you truly want your life back the price is nothing compared to the daily habit. Common Ground staff saved my life! I spent about 8 days in the CRU. When I arrived, I had basically given up. When I was discharged, I had a small flicker of hope. The CRU was the perfect setting to readjust my meds. The staff are super awesome and will bend over backwards to try to get whatever you need for your recovery.

Never been in there more than an hour. If that ! Most appointments are very fast & efficient. The girls at the front desk put up with a lot from rude phone calls to rude (Veterans ) patients.

I lived for 9 months and I really liked it very much. They had adult sized tricycles in 2015.
I would ride them around on the property to and from the Scripps Mansion and to the circle drive near the men’s treatment center. I tried riding to and from the gym/ physical therapy building where the business offices and printing press for the magazine journal. It was too hard going up hill but a breeze coming back down to the bridge . Then I had to get off and push it up to the treatment center for women. I really enjoyed my time at this place. However all good times have to end and mine ended .

Had to go in, great team. After going to a different ER earlier this week as well as doctor we felt we still needed some eyes for some ongoing issues. Instantly, nurse Alicia heard our concerns and triaged. When the temporal temp came back normal, she took time to note he felt warm and looked uncomfortable so checked an axillary temp which showed a slight elevation. This small act instantly put me at ease that she genuinely cared and wasn’t just going through the motions checking boxes. We went back after no wait and within minutes were greeted by a wonderful pair of physicians, Dr. Tong & Dr. Modes. Dr Tong was our primary ER doctor and was pleasant and communicative. He ordered several tests and treatments, all of which were the most prompt I have ever seen in an ER. Within what could not have been more than 180 seconds, two x-ray techs were in conducting imaging. They shielded my daughter from the xray and even grabbed my son a warm blanket following imaging. 3 nurses came in with care and inserted an IV. A respiratory therapist showed up within 3 minutes of being told a nebulizer was ordered. All were kind and respectful. Doctor followed back up and said he wanted another x ray. They came in again promptly and kind and took care of business. I felt heard. Treatments were started and we had a plan. Once everything was finalized Dr Modes and Dr Tong came back in the room to let us know the discharge plan. Dr Tong got everything in place. Alicia consistently checked on us throughout our visit and offered not only physical care, but comfort items for our child. Honestly - best ER experience and far outweighed my expectations. Will not go elsewhere when I am in need for myself or my family.

Been here since '19 and I will most likely be a lifer.This place's functionality can vary from day to day, which isn't ideal for people trying to stabilize. That said, the NPs (Doctors everyone calls them) are 11/10. Reene (sorry about spelling) andTonya are absolute angels, doing Gods work. Swriously they couldn't be better. The front desk ladies are good too, always busy. And thank god for the nurses too.They have been reliable lately and that is nice. Overall this place has some issues but don't throw away the bushell for one bad apple. This is my truth.
I am in recovery and I also completely stopped drinking alcohol 2 1/2 months ago. I am a hard working tax paying contributing member of society. I am at the same time healing repercussions of physical, emotional and verbal abuse, gaslighting and neglect. Do not misunderstand me it goes against my principles to mess with another person’s job. However, BioMed has a counselor that has no business counseling women in any capacity. I understand that abused women, including myself, require a bit more reassurance and support not further abuse. Dennis H. has stated to me more than once, “ignorant independent American women .” This is what he really thinks of women. He is a fraud, an abuser and a thief.

I feel so comfortable the moment I step into their building! Each room feels like your just sitting in someone's living room. It immediately puts me at ease. This facility is, by far, the best in Michigan for mental health services. Something they offer that I've never received before was a case manager. Helps schedule appointments, checks in every month, arranges appropriate services based on what is most helpful to you, and provides resources on absolutely anything you may need. My case manager Abby even offered to help me on miscellaneous tasks such as going through/organizing paper stacks, basically anything you can think of, they are willing to help you with at the office. Case manager Abby even picked up clothing donations for my children as we had fallen on hard times. She has so many resources and she's been like an angel helping me manage things to make it easier on me so I can focus on therapeutic work. It's quite amazing the service I've received from Easter Seals. The psychiatrist, Dr. Linsk, is the most knowledgeable and caring doctor I've ever had. He takes time at every appointment to listen to me. He keeps up to date on the latest research. He's even been the first to give me new diagnosises that go beyond generalized anxiety, depression, ect. As for therapy, I had the pleasure of meeting the best therapist I've ever had, Emma. Emma has since left as she was an intern, however, my success story continued as I met my next therapist. I've been to at least 6 other mental health centers and I've never been given any other therapy besides basic CBT talk therapy. My first meeting with the new therapist, I tell her I've been working on this same issue for 10 years, she selflessly said she'd like me to try another therapist who is trained in Exposure Therapy as it may be a better help for me. That other therapist came right in to the room with us, talked, and we all agreed to try this and that I can go back to regular therapy after completion. They even offer group therapy but I've not used that service. The therapists here are young and fresh and are educated on the latest research. They have a drive of providing quality care that I've never experienced before. The whole office is the top standard of mental health services. My only adverse experiences have come from the front desk. I am aware of how hard it is to deal with patients at the front desk. They always have to handle the problems and are looked to for a solution. I've witnessed patients not speaking very kindly to the ladies at the front desk, however, I have a few issues with them myself. Any time I come into the office, I wait at the counter behind glass while nobody acknowledges my presence. I listen to their personal stories as the whole waiting room can hear them. Someone from the back usually pops in after me standing in front of the window for 5 minutes and finally assist me. I've been forgotten to be checked in twice. I've had therapists calling me from inside their office to ask if I was coming today as I was in the waiting room well on time. Front desk is probably one of the toughest and lowest paying jobs at the center, however the front desk needs a lot of guidance because their quality does not match the quality of the whole office. The front desk staff brings the whole office score down and I hope to see that change in the future because the front desk is the first encounter for most clients. A lot of people who will benefit from this location may be deterred because of the mishaps. But overall, best service in Michigan. I don't understand the negative reviews as I feel the complete opposite. Especially since I've been told and feel comfortable asking for a change in therapists or doctors if I'm not finding a good fit. Therapy works both ways. I'm sure with the quality mental health providers, you will find a good match. I'm so thankful to have found this location and I encourage others looking for quality care to reach out for assistance. This may just be the last road to recovery of your mental health you'll need to walk. They provide so much support. I don't know how they do it all! Thank you. You've all been angels in my life! :)

I haven't had much luck making a good connection with the therapists, partially my fault for not making more time. But the psychiatrists have truly been a godsend. When I first set my appointment in 2020, I really was on the verge of not existing. Now it's four years laters and I'm days away from a college degree. Dr. Linsk is very professional and goes the extra mile to make sure you get what's needed from appointments and medications don't run out.

Not fancy but it did the job for medical detox. Most of the staff are recovering addicts. I felt very safe there.

So there will always be those people who weren't ready so they throw shade on the program but o well as for me, 4 years ago this program saved my life, and since then I had gained my life back, along with tools money can't buy, and I also am now an employee, a recovery coach and staff on duty person. I think of your an addict and are ready to take your life back, you should show up here, and let us do the rest.

PNLH is an amazing facility with amazing people who genuinely care about your wellbeing and recovery. I stayed in July/August and my experience was amazing. This place is actually nice not sure about the last review but I was a patient and they really helped me the staff there is good at what they do the meals are family style so we all take turns cooking I learned a lot there and have been to treatment places where they actually don’t care and your treated like another number I would and have sent other loved ones there

Life Challenge is a life saver for me. I’m so grateful to Pastor Jeff Bonzelar and my spiritual mom pastor Sheila as well as the teachers Bro Ken Keane, Bro Bob…and so many others. You have got to want change in your life for this to work. You’ve got to ask God to come into your heart ♥️ and do the work that needs to be done. I was walking around dead in sinking sand and God lifted me up and placed my feet on solid ground. I’ve completed 19 years and still standing for Jesus Christ. I encourage everyone to not let Satan get in your way. If you don’t like this one go find another Teen Challenge or Life Challenge. There are many more. But this was the best one for me. I have volunteered with DRMM since 1990. I have taken bus loads of people on urban tours of their sites and collected sheets, towels, hygiene etc. Their facilities meet a huge need in Detroit and Highland Park and are run by incredible people. They are the largest mission in the USA with all their sites and feed and house thousands each day. I highly recommend this wonderful charity.

Amazing place with people who care about you and care about your life. Dashika is amazing and I absolutely adore her. I've been going for almost 6 years. I had 33 broken bones and was told I'd never walk again and that pain meds were going to be something to take daily forever. I haven't taken a pain pill or 15 at a time in the 6 years I have been here. The staff for the most part is great and I never feel looked down upon. If you are ready this place can help you amd they will care about you every step of the way. Building is rough but they really do try to keep it clean and functional. Best group of people I have had the privilege to come to know.

This place has saved my life. I have been going a long time. I live a normal life now. I’m able to go on vacation for a few weeks at a time. But you have to be serious about treatment. Just follow the rules and you will get your life back. I’m so grateful for the staffs help. They have been there for me.
