I was skeptical about bringing my daughter here based of the reviews but I'm glad I didn't let them stop me! Putting her in the PHP program was the best decision I've made! Mariam was amazing, all the staff was great! I've seen such positive change in my daughter, she left smiling everyday. Today was her last day and she is sad about it but the positive impact new oakland left my daughter with is something I'll always be greatful for!

I've been at the guidance center for over ten years . I have never once been talked to in a condescending or in a way like I'm fresh out of the psych ward. I could be wrong but I think most of these negative comments are from people that will fall apart the second things don't go their way . I could be wrong. But I've been here over ten years and only have been treated with respect!!

my old friend referred me to this place and got sober here 2 weeks before i did. i never thought living a sober life was possible for me, it wasn t until i saw my friend with my own eyes (who was using as much as me) that if this place got her sober, maybe they can do the same for me. by the grace of god, i am so blessed and proud to be able and say that i am 2.5 years sober today thanks to Laura and Dr. Julia at ARD! they truly care about every single patient and Laura is still here for me years later for anything i need! truly one of the best investments you can make for yourself if you re struggling with addiction. laura even helped me financially so i could get ketamine treatments after detoxing! i did 2 or 3 ketamine treatments and they were instrumental in my recovery process in terms of letting go of grief and pain i was holding onto. i could go on for days about how grateful i am to and for ARD for helping me take those first steps into sobriety when i was too scared to take them on my own, they held my hand every step of the way and filled my heart with the love and strength i needed to battle my addiction! thank you so much Laura and Dr julia again! i am one life that you guys have saved and my family is so happy that they ve gotten their daughter back: )

Enjoy giving food to the Salvation Army instead of throwing away. I lost my wife recently and had more food than I could eat, so I called them and they was very nice on the phone where to drop the food off, when I arrived, they brought a cart out food put on cart and off I went. Has great structured care! I moved from Portland Metro Treatment center and felt much more at ease having a clinic near my home! Made work easier. Dr. didn't give too high or low of doses. Felt a lot more stable on the MME than other treatment options.

It s a lovely clinic, but I don t plan on being here for a year after the year. That s my goal but I m happy I came here with the right people much love

This place is the best! I've been to other treatment centers but Nardin Park outclasses them all by leaps and bounds. The staff has a friendly but no nonsense attitude which I appreciate. They are professional and caring at the same time. For someone like me that is here for treatment and not a "Social Club", NPRC is the place to be!!!Well, it's 2023 and time for a life change. Thanks to NPRC I have been "clean" for over 2 years. I feel that I am ready to take the next step in my life. Time to detox out of the program. I am so ready to move on. Thank you NPRC staff for helping me to put my feet on solid, stable, drug-free ground.Below are my before and after photos. The look of "clean" and healthy can't be beat!!!!

At the heart of what I love about River s Bend is therapist Julia Greenbaum. I initially struggle to open up but she has met me where I m at mentally and changed my life. Although the entire facility is professional and courteous, Julia takes her standard of care to places I have never seen the bar raised to before. Her methods are down-to-earth yet professional, her insights are relevant, her empathy is tangible, and she goes above and beyond to be there for her clients. Whether Julia is providing homework/resources for continuous growth outside of our sessions or pushing me to see beyond my present circumstance when we are talking, I always feel safe, respected, heard, and valued.10/10 would recommend!!!

I ll try not to use any specific names in my review All the folks I have met here are friendly, VERY knowledgeable & welcoming. Plus, they really care about their clients. You don t get this at every recovery place. (Sadly, been to quite a few).Like all these programs, you get what you put into it. They point that out to ya.And let s face it. With the success rate of us clients staying clean, the majority of us being court ordered, in conjunction with the sad fact that a small percentage of us fail by dying, the folks that work here have a really hard job.To end on an up-beat note:- I posted pictures of the lobby because Tracy would probably yell at me in our next session if I took a picture elsewhere. They have a nice drinking fountain in the lobby, not saying I ever had to wait long er anything.- And my one complaint (so 4.9 stars) is that they don t have snow days, like we had school. We live in Michigan ya know. I complained once and got a response back from Nate. He said something to the effect of ; Recovery doesn t have snow days. He is always so wise (and witty).

When I was through and wanted my notes and paperwork from my time there I called the place and was transferred to medical records where I left a message to return my call. i competed the adult PHP and i couldn t be happier about my time at new oakland! i am a healthcare provider myself and the therapists, providers, and support staff are SO genuine and kind. being in a group therapy setting was a scary thought initially but i felt that it was a very safe space to share my experiences. i also enjoyed hearing other s experiences as it helped to remind me that we are all going through similar issues in life. the therapists even completed the worksheets along side of us and shared their experiences about their own healing journeys which was reassuring. i ve learned and grown so much during my time here and i am very appreciative of the employees who made it happen: zach, mara, michelle, amber and everyone else. ya ll deserve a raise LOL. thank you!!! :)

I went to the farm and stayed for a little over 3 months. The treatment duration is determined by the therapists. The shortest duration I saw was 2 1/2 months. Longest I saw was 4 months but most do around 90 days. I had moments I really loved the farm, and others where I felt like I hated it. Their rules are really strict and you re there for a while. However, it did work for me. It was a long journey. I got yelled at for breaking rules, for sleeping in, and absolutely resented waking up early every morning to do work duties. Definitely cried a few times. By day 50 I was like get me the heck out of here but had months to go. But every time I got upset, I d sleep on it and always decided to stay. Now I m much better. I can wake up for an actual job early without a problem. I have more self control, more friends, more support, I try to follow the rules in real life situations, try to be a good person, and have a much more rewarding life overall. The Farm is really challenging but it does actually work if you listen to them and do what they tell you to do and don t fight it. It s hard to follow their schedule and rules every day for so long, but it just might change your life.
